windyleecarr"April 2010 - Obsidian Entertainment presented a panel about the choice and reactivity within Alpha Protocol entitled, But thou Must! In attendance from Obsidian was Joseph Bulock [Cinematics Designer, Obsidian Entertainment], Shon Stewart [Lead Cinematics Animator, Obsidian Entertainment], Matt MacLean [Lead Systems Designer, Obsidian Entertainment], and Chris Avellone [Lead Designer, Obsidian Entertainment].
The entire Obsidian team does a great job of illustrating the challenge of offering choice in games. The panel covers off a great history of game choice with extensive attention to detail. Then dives in and shows how such choice is implemented into Alpha Protocol and how reactivity is handled. By the end, you've got a good idea on what they're trying to achieve with Alpha Protocol and really showing off how important choice is in the game."

This video was originally posted on a Sega blog 4 years ago. Having recently had the itch to replay Alpha Protocol again I went looking for this presentation clip online only to find it had been deleted. Luckily I'd saved it to my one of my hard drives back then so here it is once more.
If you've never played Alpha Protocol before, stop reading this right now and go buy it. It may not be the most polished game ever but the choices it presents you with and the various outcomes they lead to propel it above a lot of AAA titles. Truly a rough diamond of a game.
March 2024: After several years in the wilderness due to music licensing issues, the good folks over at GOG.com have achieved the unthinkable and managed to bring it back. Now with its full licensed soundtrack, cloud saves, improved OS compatibility and, for the first time, achievements on PC. Go grab a copy.

The 3rd UK single to be lifted from the 'I Feel For You' LP, following the title track (#1) and This Is My Night (#14). It peaked at number 16 in the UK charts at the end of April '85. Not available on CD or digitally as far as I know.

Unlike the 12" version I don't think this one's ever seen a digital release.

This clip was an attempt to recreate the original UK video release but sadly some of the footage is missing and of low quality.

The 12" contained two mixes - the "One Long Groove" A side and a "U.S.S. Enterprise Instrumental" on the B side. This video contains elements of both versions re-edited into one track, by myself. The things you do when you're bored...

Originally upload to YouTube years ago in 360p quality, the account hosting it appears to have closed. Thankfully I managed to save it before then and have redubbed the original mono audio with a HQ rip of the UK 7" vinyl. Sadly, there was only part of the video clip and not the full track. The picture quality really sucks too. Still, better than nothing, I suppose.

Hadn't heard it in years and had forgot I'd even attempted to ruin it. The audio is mostly from vinyl and the picture quality is terrible, sorry 'bout that. Great track though, should have been a bigger hit.

Only found on the very first vinyl test pressing of the Strawberry Switchblade album.
WEA bosses allegedly felt Motions production was too spiky and wanted a more commercial sound, so brought in producer Phil Thornalley to rework this track and Let Her Go. Sadly their efforts backfired, with only the Motion produced Since Yesterday becoming a sizeable hit.

Could someone at Sony have a dig through their archives and finally release that album she recorded 22 years ago. 2 discs with all the Remixes would be lovely, thanks!

Her final album recorded with legendary producer Giorgio Moroder was deemed not good enough at the time by record company boss David Geffen. Condemned to the vaults for 15 years it finally got it's first physical release in 1996 on CD.
Long out of print and hard to find, it obtained it's 2nd release on the 1st December 2014. Newly Remastered and as a double disc set like originally intended. Housed in a Deluxe hardback book bound sleeve with extensive liner notes, this release also marks its Vinyl debut along with CD and Digital download editions.
Written by – Donna Summer & Giorgio Moroder Produced by - Giorgio Moroder & Pete Bellotte
This extended mix is inspired by those dodgy 70's 12" mixes were they had to repeat chunks of the songs in order to make them longer. A couple of Donna's early 12" singles took this very approach. Admittedly though, in this case, it was more born from necessity rather than want.
The original version is taken from the "I'm A Rainbow" album and is available to purchase now on Googleplay, iTunes, Amazon and other retailers.Kylie Minogue - Fine (Extended)windyleecarr2014-03-23 | DIY self created Extended mix of Fine from the new Kylie Minogue album Kiss Me Once.
