Time Extended
TE's going to be gone for a while so I thought I'd tackle the backlog of requests while we wait for his return! I hope I sound okay, TE's got a magic touch to this stuff, but I tried my best to replicate it. -- Engi

This was a fun one to mix. Rarely have I fully left the confines of Halo's traditional mixes. To be able to form a new track in untreated grounds is almost a first for me, and it's certainly refreshing.
Engi redid the graphics again and, as always, never fails to impress. Without him I'd be quadrupling the time it takes to make these. I'm grateful he can spare the time.

Engi said that the video portion of this project took almost 18 hours due to the nature of his slow system and After Effect's rendering times. I wouldn't think that it actually took eighteen hours, but I'm impressed either way.
My personal favorite is All That Remains.
The original (which you can still find at youtube.com/watch?v=RMuSDescITo) went as high as 13,000 views before it went unlisted. I'd say that this is certainly my most popular extension.
This wasn't incredibly hard to do, since Marty and company made the loops pretty straightforward. The loops are far more consistent than others, and most of the nuance is in the beat matching. I'm not saying it's lazy, though. It just took less time than others.
The real name of these tracks (in order) are: A Heavy Toll, Unleashed, On the Prowl, and Air Traffic Control.
This track's name is actually "Into the breach" (Or badidea in the files), but for the sake of visibility I'm going to name it after its OST counterpart.
I decided to follow the natural progression of Tayari Plaza, moving from badidea_full, to badidea_perc, then badidea_thin. On the original version, (which you can still view at youtube.com/watch?v=BkZoyw9o3dQ), where I swapped "perc" and "thin." I feel that having perc was a better fit between thin and full, since it doesn't fill as much air as think, and therefore creates an interlude between full and thin.
Yes, your ears are correct, this version does sound less sharp than my teaser. I originally equalized the track to bring out some more of the elements that appeal to listeners, but I then realized that if you're going to EQ a track, don't. I pumped the bass up too high, which created a rumble that was unpleasant to people with bass-heavy headphones.

I mixed in To Kill a Demon because the progression of this particular track can get stale fast, especially when not in-game. That being said, I like the percussion, it really adds some punchy movement.

Let me know how Engi is doing with the editing. I personally like what he's been doing.
I wanted to keep the same "switch between the parts to extend it" methodology I had with the Arbiter Remix of Impart. I think this turned out pretty great.

This video was edited by Engi, I mixed the music.
To celebrate Halo CE's anniversary, I've created a mix of some of the most iconic music from the series in rough chronological order. Most of the tracks are directly from the game. Engi has also added some visual flair and "Easter eggs" to the mix. I hope you enjoy.

I made some adjustments, the most prominent being the end cards. Let me know what you think of this, I'm curious.
I mixed in Impart, and gave the full arbiter version a solo so that its differing percussion was really prominent. I like this track because it's unlike the rest of H2A's soundtrack.
Do any of you who actually read to this point like the new changes? I thought I'd try and dust of my copy of Premier Pro and add some eye candy to go along with the music.
Suggestions are appreciated. I'll extend a track or rip it from the game for you, just ask.
I'm trying to mix things up a little, make my content with somewhat more effort than "slap the soundtrack album art up and throw the audio track into windows movie maker." I think I've been doing good so far.
