This is an improvement of over a full minute over my previous run. Time saved came mostly from improved gameplay and fewer mistakes, as aside from a few very small differences, the route is the same.I was lucky enough to get the best paint track ("Deception paint", as the first paint spawn is directly outside the puzzle Deception, which saves a few seconds.) There are five different predetermined spawn sets for the paint bucket, and paint affects A6, B4, C1, C2, and C4. This paint track is the worst for B4, but very good for the other four levels.This run is played on The Talos Principle Version 252786. You can play this version on steam by going into your Beta settings and choosing Legacy WinXP/Linux. This is the fastest version of the game available through Steam. It is possible to save 20-30 seconds using an even older patch, but that requires an external tool. I decided that 252 was a happy medium between downpatching and playing on a widely available version. The current up-to-date version of The Talos Principle uses a slightly different version of the physics, making Paint and Cube jumping no longer function.It is possible to save 4 seconds by playing with the game's text in Chinese, as it makes using the computer terminal to unlock the elevator to Floor 3 much faster. However, because of the large amount of menuing in the rest of the run, I decided to play in English so that I could quickly correct mistakes. Maybe I'll learn Chinese so I can comfortably save those four seconds. Probably not.Physics in this game is tied to framerate, which is why I have all of my graphics settings as low as possible. These high framerate tricks include using objects such as connectors, jammers, and paint buckets to push yourself up slanted walls and onto higher surfaces. Cube jumping is also tied to framerate, which is why I cap the game at 60 fps (25 for one of them) so as not to launch myself to the moon. 15 fps is also used twice for two very different tricks.That's more words than I'm sure everyone cares to read, so go ahead and enjoy the speedrun. Good luck beating it, this one is GOOD.

Played like a champion though, low-mid 47 should be doable but really tough.
