RE2 REmake might have a lackluster soundtrack for a majority of the game but like Looming Dread, Last Judgement (and Collapse) stand out as great pieces from the soundtrack. The songs are very similar to each other, Collapse being something of an "instrumental" for Last Judgement though it's missing some flair to make them entirely similar. Last Judgement does naturally blend back into Collapse though once you've killed the Super Tyrant so I made use of that with some edits here and there.

I've been wanting to do the extension for awhile but it was difficult to find a way that satisfied me. This works!

『 E v e l i n e 』-[Eveline Scene|Chase|Fight Music]- {Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose OST}

TVthePunisher 2022-11-09 | I'm sure someone else will come out with better rips down the line but for the time being I wanted to put this one together. It starts with the sweet moment with Rose finding her dad's letter but is quickly warped by Eveline's appearance, then focuses on Eveline until the end. There's her scene music, the chase theme and prior to the fight in here. I didn't do much editing to the music and instead relied on trying to line up the next song with a decent transition between the game's natural shifts of music.

[ Looming Dread (RE:Verse Version) Mix ] - Resident Evil RE:Verse OST - {EXTENDED}

TVthePunisher 2022-11-07 | I remember hearing this during the beta last year and was like "that's Looming Dread, nice". Then as I played the game and completed the 1000/1000 on Xbox (all achievements), I realized - "wait this...is a little different". When you're human in RE:Verse (basically any of the main characters) it's the first half of the theme, the constant beat. When you turn into a B.O.W or monster however, it goes into the epic music and the game had natural loops of these parts.

So...I took the actual Looming Dread song, took a few transitions from it and bam - you've got the Battle Music/BOW Music in this extension. I made it an hour long cause it was already shaping up to be lengthy...and I need this for my work week lol

『 The Yoshikage Kira Suite 』- Kira Anime Themes - JOJOS BIZARRE ADVENTURE

TVthePunisher 2022-10-06 | Long ago I did a Kira Suite, it was a small video...maybe under 10 minutes if I recall. It was early on in my time handling music on YouTube. I always wanted to do a new one, fiddled with ideas but nothing really came together. Finally in the right mindset to do one so...here it is!

Disclaimer: These tracks? A good number of them you'll recognize as Kira themes, they're mostly near the back half of this video starting with Killer. However...there's a lot of music accompanying Kira, some of which is used in other fights and situations in Part 4 that have nothing to do with him but I wanted to be thorough with this collection of music. There's 27 tracks...the first coming from a video I did months ago called "Kira Opener?". In his first "off screen appearance" Morioh Cho Radio is playing followed by a song that cuts out shortly due to the scene length...I decided to take that song and put the full thing, looping it back around to where it transitions into the next track - "Abnormality". I did a similar move with Morioh Cho Radio and Faith, putting the OP theme "CHASE" after it as that's how it happened in Episode 21.

Music between the first couple tracks and Killer are used at various points surrounding Kira. Whether he's on screen or characters are talking about him...that includes the track "The Alley" which is more of a Reimi Sugimoto theme but she's so heavily connected to Kira and it plays throughout her story about what happened to her (caused by Kira). Other music could be when characters are investigating Kira/trying to find him or when he's dealing with a situation, such as "Puppet" when he's on his way to Jotaro/Koichi and encounters a couple thugs.

After Killer it's mostly Kira based, though one might say "A New Courage" relates to Hayato. It's also used for Kira without Hayato being involved so...I cut that one in half, since the latter half is too heroic sounding and likely meant strictly for Hayato. Oh and I included Stray Cat's theme since it's pretty important during the final fight with Kira as one of his weapons. After Cornered I wanted to use audio from the anime where he uses Bites the Dust but it didn't really fit for me...so I instead did a search and found this excellent video with just the sound design. I'll credit that below. From there I went into my personal mix "Battle with Kira", which I released a year ago. I always liked the music in JJBA and felt that it could actually be something of a boss battle theme...so I rearranged some tracks to make that happen. It then transitions to "Final Battle" from Stardust Crusaders, which recently made an appearance in Stone Ocean when Hermes fights Sports Maxx. It's used during the final battle with Kira and when he's dragged into the next life (Dead Man's Questions).

The video closes out with a a somber track and then two more upbeat ones. First of which was used for Shigechi’s death but also plays when Kira's been killed by the ambulance. After that is a more hopeful theme, now that the monster that terrorized Morioh is finally gone. Finally...I included the music for Shinobu Kawajiri fawning over "Kosaku", who was really Kira. An interesting ship to say the least...but not unheard of for someone to be attracted to a serial killer (without knowing they're one - see DEXTER and all the women interested in him).

I hope you enjoy this - I know it doesn't include music that's strictly with Kira's leitmotiffs but I did only include music that plays at one point or another in relation to Kira. If you want to skip around the timestamps are there for you. I didn't include EVERY song, like Jotaro's Theme or any heroic/general battle theme since they're more connected to the heroes in that moment getting a W. Just so you're like "why didn't you include X?". There's also the possibility I may have overlooked one or two tracks as I am not perfect lol but I feel like I got pretty much all (most?) of them.

He has a few Leitmotifs, the most recognizable being the one used in Himeru Omoi (Hidden Feelings) but also one that I noticed forever ago when I was working work the soundtrack. It's present in multiple tracks and a good portion of what I extracted from "Persistence".

Some of these tracks are also attributed to the Stone Mask, which goes hand in hand with Dio and others include battle themes with Dio Brando. A pretty good rip from the anime removing a lot of the background noise by MegMew here. I decided to extend it and put a little emphasis on one of the "good parts". It's one of those experimental loops, while I doubled down on two sections of the main beat people like on the first loop, the second loop will lead back into the 2nd section with the most beat to it and loops that section 4 times. I've done similar extensions in the past...and when the official OST releases and this track is in nice FLAC quality...I'll be doing one or two extensions of it then as well (possibly with one of them being similar to this).

This one was a bit weird to do...I tested it with the game itself and the track will actually end after five minutes, leaving the level completely devoid of music. Granted you'll probably only get to this point as you're exiting the level anyways...it's a relatively short mission.

So I took the ending of the song, which has no way of naturally looping back to the start of the normal song...and I put that at the beginning. I kept the one at the very end of the hour...but I looped what should have been looped for the track if it continued playing. It's a very bizarre track in that it plays normally for about 4 minutes then changes to a very quiet tune...that ends and leads to silence. It doesn't naturally loop like all the other tracks...

I've been wanting to do a Wesker Suite of some sort for awhile. With DBD's most recent chapter and the way life has been...might as well finally get it done now. I'm sure he'll have new music in the RE4 remake and any other remakes down the line.

So everything here is in some way attributed to Albert Wesker, one of the main antagonists of the Resident Evil franchise. Some of the tracks are clearcut "Wesker Themes" but others are attributed to cutscenes he's involved in (such as a majority of the CVX entries). As it's generally someone fighting Wesker and especially in RE5 there's a leitmotiff shared across all the themes...I figured I'd fill this up a bit.

Yeah, it's over an hour and a half. Yeah...some of the music at the start being from the mid 90's but before the wonderful compositions in RE2+ might be a little iffy. He's a 90's bad guy though so...we gotta start from there. The order of these tracks is based on first release year then the year chronologically the game took place in. So RE1 and REmake stuff at the start, then CVX. I went to Umbrella Chronicles after which does take a step backwards before RE1's events but it's closer to the type of music encountered in later entries. RE4 then RE5 are self exclamatory. After that there's 3 themes (the most recent being the leaked Dead By Daylight chase music) from other games release year on order there.
