Super Mario: Blackout Episode 9 videogameguy101 2013-07-03 | ***MARCH 2017 UPDATE***Almost 4 years since I released this and almost 10 since I joined Youtube. Wow. Seems like only yesterday when I was a weird-ass 11 year old kid. Anyway, to the people who HAVE stayed subscribed (and I don't blame the ones who haven't - I made it quite clear that I was done) I do have an announcement that may excite some of you. I AM considering a possible revival of the series. It would be a reboot and released as a full-length independent film. However, I never had a very large fan base but one thing I did have out of you fans was loyalty. I WOULD need word to spread about this series and would prefer episode 9 to be the episode you all share because that is my proudest work (the writing was beautiful, the plot was original and made sense, the effects were gorgeous, the storyline went together, the backstory had depth and spiritual elements, it just was - almost - PERFECT in my eyes and that's something I had never achieved before but always wanted to) and I feel like many people would support me if I were to share what I am capable of. This is because, now that I am an adult, I need to put a roof over my head so I will need Patreon donations to my name. I would really enjoy creating this but I would need a LOT of sharing and word-of-mouth spreading of this series. The film, since a lot of you (and I) are now older, would have darker, deeper, and a lot more intense elements to the plot as well as updated effects/animations. I would get to work on it right away once I have enough Patreon donors because I would actually produce it like a film (scripting, casting calls, possibly voice actors) but I would need a larger crowd to know about it. I would actually really enjoy doing this but it wouldn't be released for another few years due to the intensity of the effects and the fact that the elements are far deeper and darker than I originally planned for this series. I would appreciate sharing this with anyone (friends, family, fans of big names such as SMG4, MJacobBarker, MATTHEWGU4) and I will start a Patreon once I know I have enough donors. If you want to see the series revive, please help make it happen. You can even post this comment on a video for the "Possible Return of Super Mario Blackout" lol. Please share this with anyone you know is a fan or creator of SM64 content on Youtube, including SMG4 and others who have a large following. Here's the story: about 25 years have passed since Mario and the original Youtubers lost a battle against their toughest enemy. The Mushroom Kingdom has fallen, and is under rule of the enemy who defeated the Youtubers and Mario. Mario is destraught with the fact that he never fought the battle when he had the chance. The Youtubers were killed in a failed battle and Princess Peach was personally killed by the enemy silhouette to get back at Mario. In the present day, 5 new Youtubers have grown up and constructed a castle dedicated to the memory of Princess Peach. Each of the Youtubers were very young or unborn when the battle was fought and have grown up in this chaotic world. They have decided to help Mario conspire to overthrow the silhouette ruler. Stay tuned to catch 3-6 parts of this amazing movie, and revelation of the mysterious silhouette enemy character!Now I must note; THIS IS NOT A SERIES. This is a full-length machinima released in 3-6 parts. I will still work on Blackout but I really felt like doing something different. This movie will be very dark, subtle, and mysterious in tone. Don't expect the happiest ending. Also, the 5 Youtubers you see in this video will be the ONLY Youtubers in the series (with the exception of the 5 deceased original Youtubers). I had been wanting to do that fight scene with Shazar ever since the series started and I'm VERY glad that I waited until the quality of my videos improved to do so. I just wished I put more heart into this series a lot earlier. I would have probably got a lot more done in a shorter amount of time. I had waited quite some time to do the Shazar scene (especially where he wall jumps off rocks - that's still cool af) and I was happy to have finally gotten the chance to do it. If I were to remake this, I'd put more time into a story that actually makes sense LMAO. I like the jailbreak scene, but I think too much of his childhood and return was either ripped off or doesn't make much sense at all.
