Blender Oscillator The Lightning Stalker 2021-08-03 | This is a type of oscillation that can occur in food blenders. Perhaps you may have seen it before. It is a type of stable mechanical oscillation. I'm not exactly sure about all the mechanisms involved and am unable to find anything about it online.If the blender is started from a resting state, oscillation usually does not occur, although it will sometimes begin to oscillate spontaneously. Also if there is much water in the pitcher it will not occur at all. If the blender is pulsed so that the water begins sloshing up and down and then quickly switched to a continuous mode, the oscillation is most likely to begin. It is quite stable and I saw it continue for about 5 minutes without any sign of cessation. Longer tests were not conducted.
