5 reasons why Joseph Smith is not a true prophet of God and Mormonism is not Christianity. The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints believes that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God, and what is called Joseph Smith testimony is the first vision that Joseph Smith had in 1820 in which he claims to have seen physically both God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in person after praying to know which church was the true church after reading James 1:5. This goes directly against Joseph Smith's revelation apparently in Doctrines and Covenants 84:17-22, and Hebrews 7:24, and Galatians 1:6-9. According to the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints prophets and apostles, and official publications Joseph Smith is a latter day prophet to restore the lost church that went into complete apostasy after the death of the apostles, of which is called the Great Apostasy and the Restoration of the Gospel. This is false and goes against what the Bible teaches about the church never being lost, destroyed, or lost. Joseph Smith supposedly received what is called the Melchizedek priesthood authority in 1829, and Joseph Smith is taught to be of the lineage of Ephraim according to 2 Nephi 3:5-15 a choice seer and coming prophet from the loins of Joseph in Genesis 50:24-38, but these are false claims. According to Joseph Smith he would prove he was a true prophet of God by what he taught about how God came to be God, and that God was not God from all eternity, but was a man who became a God. This is also false as the Scriptures teach in Psalm 90:2, Isaiah 40:28, and even in the LDS sources like Doctrines and Covenants 20:17 and Moroni 8:18 and Mormon 9:9 that God is from everlasting to everlasting God. Thus the evidence is irrefutable that Joseph Smith is a false prophet who has led millions upon millions of people into false doctrines about God, the Gospel, and Christianity. I challenge any Latter Day Saint aka Mormon to prove me wrong.
