I really mean it :')*For those interested, the first "reverse" is the normal beat order reversed, then I reversed the entire structure of the song in batches of 64 half beats (like the different timeline Resonance).For those REALLY into maths, the first 2 permutations are equivalent to just one permutation, by reversing the beat order but in the groups of the 64 half-beats (For example, by taking the song at 10.625 bpm in 64/64). This produces edits where the base is the normal reversed version, but since I reversed it again, the progression is the likes of normal Resonance! Truly a unique discovery, and more videos with those base permutations coming later! I'll be experimenting with it.See you all next year! Resonance is much different here. Luckily, you brought a recorder, and recorded that timeline's Resonance and uploaded it to Youtube as soon as you came back home.This project was quite complex! It took me 20+ hours from the concept to the mastering process. Since some people are interested on how I do these, I'll tell you every part I used for this. The lead is from reversed 1 1, but then I used the percussion of the normal reversed version (which makes the song be at normal Resonance bpm instead of twice of that). Then I re-structured the whole thing, basically I tried to reverse it again but conserving the structures of reversed 1 1. That was the concept of this remix. To do that I used the fact that Resonance is normally structured in batches of 64 half-beats. So as long as you keep those blocks intact it'll probably sound good, even if after that you edit each block with a permutation. Now, since reversed 1,1 has "half the duration", the batches here would be of 32 half-beats instead. So I took them and reversed the order of the batches. And then I added the drums. But for it to sound good I had to make a lot of changes, for example I had to remove some parts of the original percussion of either the reversed 1 1 version or the percussion of the normal reversed version to make it sound good, or to make it sound different to make it dynamic (like the change at 0:23). I had to manually edit the drums at some parts to adapt to the structure of reversed 1,1, added some at others for better transition (for example 1:01). All of this while trying to mask the artifacts produced by the fact that there are no Resonance stems available, so that process will always introduce artifacts. And also some parts (or batches) were cut, and to make the ending I cut part of the ending of the normal reversed version.Then for mastering I of course slowed it, and since I was pasting drums in a version that doesn't have them I applied a hard limiter + normalization so that it sounded better (I do that on all my recent videos where I pasted drums though). There are also lots of little details or things I omitted here that are important, but that was the general idea and execution of this remix.Now, I'm really happy with the result. And I'm so happy there's a community out there where I can share my creations! Thank you all for the support and the nice comments, I read them all when I have time!
