PotO - I Know Those Eyes... PotO - Where are You Christmas? Multifandom- Un Flambeau, Jeanette Isabelle, etc. (Christmas) - Instrumental honeyphan2 2019-12-24 | PLEASE READ – I wasn’t sure I’d get this up before Christmas Day- besides having to scrape together free time these past weeks, having been busier than normal at this time of year- in the last 10 seconds of this video, last night, my new video editor I upgraded to on Black Friday went all Phantom on me! Things would start to disappear, sometimes reappear, sometimes not – all on a continual basis (library with clips, filters, transitions, etc) – and the layout would go screwy – agggh! lol (not to mention I’d get hundreds of error popups that would flash all at once when I tried to close, so had to force shut down each time) - With hours I did what would have taken ten minutes for those final bits and found a way to work around the multitude of problems to finish the vid and the last step fine tuning in a way that I hope looks decent. I still plan to do the PotO Christmas request (there are 12 days of Christmas after all. ;-) – just am really happy I kept my old video editor installed and will do it on that. Missing - (Ross ♥ Demelza) Poldark (Evanescence) honeyphan2 2019-04-07 | PLEASE READ to understand (lyrics & dialogue below) - watch in HD for best experience. :) I love this show, but honestly I was so mad at Ross in Season 2 and at Demelza at season 3- lol- even if his actions weren’t abnormal for that time period – still didn’t like it- but I love the way they showed them work through their hardships together, which finally brought about her fondest hope. Story follows lyrics – Demelza never feeling good enough, especially to win Ross’s true devotion and love, which he seems always to keep for Elizabeth, and dreams he held for them, from their past. PotO - Last Christmas (Erik ♥ Christine) Phantom of the Opera - a request honeyphan2 2018-12-24 | PLEASE READ (lyrics below) - watch in HD for best experience. :) by request for Silvia Luna, the girl who loves spiders - I wanted to do one more Christmas song, and since I got this request a couple weeks ago (and didn’t have any other Christmas requests), I decided to do it now - but also, because I posted a vignette (short follow up chapter story) on fanfiction for my Symphony in the Twilight fic (E/C and R/M) – which this vid is also based on. :) For those who don’t read my stories, think of this as AU – told in three POVs: Raoul, Christine, and Erik’s. For those who know my story, I tried to match lyrics to story only, and sometimes POVs are changed from line to line. When it talks about finding someone (else) special while in Christine’s or Erik’s POV, I don’t’ show anyone but them at that point, usually upset (because for them, deep down, they know there is no one else). When in Erik’s POV, it shows Christine going to Raoul (like on the rooftop)- that is only what Erik misunderstood and assumed. Where lyrics say: “Now, I've found a real love you'll never fool me again” - I showed E/C there – that symbolizes Chapter 9, where Erik was trying to fool her into thinking he didn’t care and didn’t want her – but with a kiss, she proves him wrong. ;-) – and the second "A man under cover but you tore me apart" - refers to his facade and emotional and physical distance, collapsing when she kissed/accepted/wanted him. I think the rest is easy to figure out – but if not, and curious about why I showed any clip at a given point, just ask. The Old Ways (Jamie ♥ Claire) Outlander – (redo- extended version) honeyphan2 2018-11-25 | PLEASE READ (lyrics below, dialogue coming soon...) - watch in HD for best experience. :) I said when the quality version of this song was no longer blocked on YT, I would redo this vid – thank you to Jaimie Johnson for letting me know it was no longer blocked – this is for you. :) Much symbolism – The lyrics are deep and can be taken different ways. This is what they mean for my story vid (mostly told in Claire’s POV, a bit in Jamie’s)- basically Claire is remembering all that has passed, hears/sees the sea, and wants/is drawn to Jamie, aching to be with him again, recalling the times they had to part. The "music" and the "dance" is symbolic of their love/passion, the green cloudy frames show the vision of the future she has of Culloden (matching lyrics) and the reddish frames show one aspect of the future danger of when she came back (showing his words true), showing how their love never fades or falters as the dangers only escalate. “The old ways are lost” and “you were like a bird in a cage spreading its wings to fly”- Scotland as it once was, before Culloden, (and how it will never be again), why he is sending Claire away, and Jamie knowing he must go back, fight and die there. As he's talking to her, clips show what Claire is thinking as he's speaking- i.e.- when he says there's nothing for her, she's thinking contrary to his words that there is something- a life with him. Overall: the life she had with Jamie is calling her back to Scotland, back to his time, and back to him. The end is meant to give a positive feel for the song - that the old ways may be gone, things now changed, but never lost in their hearts.
