Luna and Saturn - July 9th and 10th, 2019 - The Best I Could Get ThisGuyFrritz 2019-07-11 | - Taken on July 9th and 10th of 2019 with my Canon VIXIA HF R700- Edited with Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12.0.MUSIC:- "Saturn, The Bringer of Old Age" and the ending of "Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity" (originally written by Gustav Holst, this synthesized version was by Isao Tomita, better than that "Beyond the Sun" version by Patrick Gleeson).- "A Cosmic Kiss" by Geodesium from "A Gentle Rain of Starlight."I was told that shortly after sunset you would see Saturn towards the South. So, I thought I would bring out my Canon VIXIA HF R700 and see how I can take this video. Bear with me as I make manual adjustments of the focus and exposure, as well as trying to keep it steady. As you can see, Saturn would appear to be very much like a star, which is the best I could get. Also got the half-moon. I have a feeling that I could've done a little better. Oh well.

RE: Audio Left Right (((Stereo))) Test ThisGuyFrritz 2012-03-12 | I thought I would make this video response since it's similar to the one by coondogtheman1234. Although, it doesn't show in the comments area below that it's a video response.Here's what I would use to test sound systems. This upload is on the tracks for identifying channels. Notice that there's more than just a voice identifying "Left" and "Right" channels. There's also a little white noise. I also include the one for "Left," "Center," "Right" and "Surround". These tracks last 1 minute. 1978 BIC T1 2-Speed Cassette Deck (Complete Version!) ThisGuyFrritz 2011-10-24 | Originally uploaded to Vimeo back in May of 2009. This video was doing fine until Vimeo disabled all my videos (and I thought they was supposed to be better than YouTube, except when it came to their policy). I was hoping to try YouTube, which would mean splitting the video into several parts. However, now that we YouTubers can upload longer videos, I might as well upload the whole demo (which I meant to do earlier).Thanks to Miguel (Vinylrecordsneverdie and DaAnalogDogg86), when he saw this video when it was on Vimeo, he could tell it was made in 1978.This tape deck my dad got from a rummage sale for $2. He showed it to me since he knew I would be interested. Sure enough, I was. After a little cleaning and replacing a belt with a rubber band, it worked like new. Also sounds very good, especially with the high speed (unless the recording was done in the other speed :-] ).This video ends with what the Cassette Master would say.Right now, the rubber band is sticking to the motor. Also, I think the heads are not quite lined up properly. Early 1980s Sony TC-FX 30 (2009) ThisGuyFrritz 2011-10-24 | Originally uploaded to Vimeo back in 2009, until all my uploads were disabled (Vimeo doesn't seem to like it when you upload your same videos to YouTube). I was hoping to get the complete demo uploaded sooner or later. Now, it's finally uploaded. This cassette deck I found at a flea market back in the summer of 2005. The tape heads would normally go up when the play button is pushed so the audio from the tape could be heard. It wasn't working and my dad and I thought this tape deck was a failure. But I hope it would not be, so I kept it in my room for over a year. Then I decided to try to fix it. It turned out that a belt needed to be replaced. So, I manage to find a rubber band (rather cheap fix) and it worked very well. I was also did a little cleaning and adjusting the motor speed, and it worked very well. I was even able to upload a few YouTube videos using this tape deck. Taken with my Sony CCD-TRV608 Hi-8 Handycam. Edited with Nero Vision from Nero Essentials (before I would get Sony Vegas).

One of them was a 7-inch record of Christmas tunes played on music boxes. I thought it was a fun way to listen to Christmas music.December 2009 (when I made that unexpected find): I was on the Internet checking out a few things on eBay for the heck of it. I typed in some search words like "7 inch EP". While looking at the EP's that were up for bids, one particular item looked familiar. I remember seeing one of these during that visit with my cousins in the 70's. The starting bid on the record was 99 cents. I thought I gotta bid on it. It turned out that I was the ONLY BIDDER on that record! When I received it, it came with an unexpected bonus. A few weeks after getting that record, someone I knew from church requested a copy of "A Music Box Christmas" CD (which I've uploaded in 2009). For those of you who have seen my 2-part video of my turntable may recall seeing that record. In this video, I'm playing both sides. The record is scratchy and has 2 skips in the Chinese Dance. I managed to cut down the noise as much as I can (see below for the software I use). Time-Life Music: As You Remember Them - Plastic Flexidisc ThisGuyFrritz 2010-11-20 | Something I got from a flea market back in the Summer of 2007 (with a bunch of other 7-inch records). I have been considering uploading this for quite a while. Meanwhile, Miguel uploaded his copy to YouTube when he was "damusician" (with 3 other YT accounts). There are those of us who remember those accounts. I suppose you might remember when I had my "Frritzz" account. But they are gone due to the WMG and other stupid copyright issues (Perhaps some of you had that experience, as well). Maybe it was a good thing I have not uploaded back then because that Pioneer PL-518 I was using had a very light tonearm and it would "bounce" very easily on the warped part of the flexidisc. I was wondering what other player I could use, even that Audiotronics 312T classroom record player. Well, now that I have a $5 Pioneer PL-L70, the flexidisc can play very well even through the warped part.

But, thank goodness, they're not gonna block it! *** My first time in months since I've uploaded records playing. I got it brand new at Record World in 1985, some months after seeing the movie in the summer of '84. Note that the version on the 45 is different from the one in the movie. I did a comparison and noticed the one in the movie sounded different and was better. Maybe that version would be in the original soundtrack album. Same with "Ivory Tower". Again, not what you would hear in the movie. The first movie is better than the second (of course). Never seen the 3rd one, but I have read VERY NEGATIVE reviews about it. Played on my Pioneer PL-L70

I could've gotten this done already. :-P Well, now that it's up, enjoy the video. I thought I've read (or heard) about these things for DVD's and CD's. What would a supposedly "protective" add-on layer do to a DVD? This video will show you. I might as well clarify that it was some previous owner who put the layer on a DVD. By the way, "The Blue Planet - Seas of Life" is sure worth watching on my 26-inch Toshiba HDTV (what you see in the video). Better than the IMAX movie with the same name in 1990, which has nothing to do with the BBC series. Both the IMAX movie and BBC series I got from a local library.
