Tomb Raider 2 - Assault Course - 1:03.4 IronFistLaw75 2021-08-20 | Tomb Raider II assault course. Still around 6 frames slower than the world record. In addition to the pixel perfect climb, the flare water wade cancel to jump/climb animation is also very tricky; I didn't even perform it on the first ladder as it's so inconsistent. Other slightly faster strats like the standing bridge jump were also neglected in favour of the running jump, as I couldn't get a decent line. Getting everything near TAS perfect just seems impossible for me. Perhaps one day 😅
Tomb Raider 2 Assault Course - 1:03.6 - PC IronFistLaw75 2021-04-09 | Tomb Raider 2 assault course speedrun in 1:03.6 (former glitchless world record).It appears that this is literally ONE frame from the old TAS time of 1:03.5! I actually achieved 1:03.6 the other day, but I wasn't happy with it as I knew I could improve by a frame or 2. Over the last few days I've analysed this assault course more than ever, and found time saves and irregularities I never knew existed. I could aim for 1:03.5, but it's absolutely draining and disappointing when you realise you've lost out by 1 frame. Perhaps some other time. Update: new strats were found which involve flare cancelling the wade to jump/climb animation. Faster times now possible.For over a decade, 1:03.9 was considered to be almost unbeatable, then 1:03.8 happened. Tekken 7 | Law max dmg from standalone U/F+4 (Season 1 and 2) IronFistLaw75 2018-10-28 | Theoretically, 81 damage could be possible, if only I could follow-up after the slower forward variant of f+4,u+3 into f+4,3 DSS, but as it stands, it doesn't seem possible (so f+4,3 has been omitted to just 4,3), unlike other launchers where it is possible. Update: season 3 has made this combo easier due to the reduced pushback on f4,u+3/4,u+3. Plus a damage buff on DSS 3, gives this combo a max damage of 82 for season 3.

Tomb Raider 2 Assault Course 1:03.8 - PC (obsolete) IronFistLaw75 2018-09-09 | My previous 1:03.8 attempt (youtube.com/watch?v=7YzpRIGW68A) used a different executable (Arsunt's TR2Main patch) which is unverified for speedrunning submissions. That patch added cosmetic effects/upgrades and merged some mechanics, but it was very unlikely it had any bearing on the assault course run. However, speedruns of the actual game must only use verified exe files, and therefore I was told it was only fair that if I were to submit a run to speedrun.com, that I use a verified exe. So this run uses the Eidos Premiere Collection (EPC) executable.
