music used: Drones by shePeach Tutorial: Out of Shield (part 6/8) - Super Smash Bros 4 (Wii U)EOE2017-08-25 | This section will cover Peach’s main Out of Shield (OOS) options, when to use them, and their advantages and disadvantages.
For aerials, the shield advantage values are given assuming you land on the frame after the hitbox comes out, and so you may find that certain moves are more punishable than the values indicate, when you are in a real match setting.
For aerials, you also must consider the height at which your opponent performed the aerial. If they hit your shield higher, it will take longer for them to touch the ground, making it easier to punish. But, they might be doing it higher to land on an auto-cancel window, making it less punishable.
Keep in mind that even if a move is very punishable, it might be too fast for you to humanely react to what is happening and perform a punish, in which case you need to predict and punish.
Note: It is not necessary to implement all or any of these techniques to be successful with Peach. My aim is to spread some knowledge and give players new ideas that they might want to incorporate into their game-play. Please enjoy!

A setup is a non-guaranteed succession of attacks. Depending on the setup, your opponent can escape with an air-dodge, attack, jump or shield. However, setups can often yield more damage than true combos, or set up for a kill or stage advantage.
Avoid using Training Mode for combo practice - the damage and knockback values are not consistent with those of an actual match, and your moves do not stale. Practice your combos, setups and juggles in VS Mode instead.

Some important points on this match-up: -Pull Turnips as often as possible, as Zelda isn't fast enough to punish. Be aware of Zelda's reflector when throwing Turnips -Be prepared to punish Zelda with F-air or dash attack/grab. Moves such as Din's Fire, Phantom Slash, U-air, Lightning Kicks, N-air, U-smash and F-smash are very laggy -Edge-guarding Zelda is one of Peach's strongest assets in this match-up. Float by the ledge and time your aerials to punish Zelda on her first frame of vulnerability. Be prepared to punish Zelda if she decides to overshoot the ledge - good Zeldas will use this to mix up their recovery (it's very dangerous!) -Side-B is safe on shield and very abusable vs Zelda. Side-B to retreating F-air almost breaks a full shield -Make your recovery unpredictable. Zelda's D-air will eat through Side-B and Up-B if spaced correctly -Abuse Zelda's slow falling speed by juggling her with U-air and punishing airdodges with Up-B

Some important points on this match-up: -Work on spacing and retreating B-airs to wall out Luigi -D-air isn't safe on shield, so it's better to retreat with a float or double-jump and punish Luigi's OOS option than follow-up with more pressure -Double-Jump JCFF is a very good way to weave through fireballs and approach Luigi -A lot of moves are safer on shield due to Luigi's low traction (he is often pushed away from Peach if he doesn't power-shield) -Be prepared to Edge-guard Luigi (punish his side-B with float N-air/F-air and up-B with D-air or U-smash if he travels above the ledge

follow me: twitter.com/EOEPeachPeachs Advanced Techniques: Jump Cancel Fast Fall - Super Smash Bros 4 (Wii U)EOE2015-04-13 | This technique was discovered by Kento Kawakami (youtube.com/watch?v=qd8fj...). In this video, I cover how to effectively use the JCFF in your gameplay.
/~/The Jump Cancel Fast Fall (JCFF) is a technique used by Peach to cancel all upward momentum during her jump with a float, and instantly transition into a fast fall.
This can be performed by pressing and holding down the jump button, then holding down on the control stick and instantly releasing the jump button when you want to fast fall.
Hold X -- Full Hop Hold (CS Down) -- Float Release X -- Fast Fall
Hold down on the control stick and release the jump button at different times during your jump to vary the height at which you perform the JCFF.
This can be performed the same way with a double jump.
This technique grants Peach more mobility options and movement mindgames. It may take some practice before you can perform this technique with good precision.
Peach can perform a pseudo wavedash using this technique by jumping backwards and immediately fast falling using the JCFF.
Use the JCFF while dashing or running to quickly transition into your standing stance, and have access to moves such as a standing grab or down-tilt.
Peach can perform a diving aerial by quickly inputting an attack after the JCFF has been performed.
This is useful when used after jumping away from your opponent as a surprise attack and positioning technique.
Using the same concept as diving aerials, it's possible to quickly perform a neutral-air out of shield (OOS).
Simply perform the JCFF and instantly input neutral-air. This allows Peach to perform a very strong punish OOS.
Although Peach has other methods to perform aerials OOS, I have found this way to be the fastest and most consistent, while giving Peach the highest potential to follow-up.
The JCFF can also be used to emulate a platform cancel.
This can be performed on any platform, as long as you fast fall at the correct distance. Depending on the height of the platform, it may be necessary to double jump.
Simply perform the JCFF and immediately input forward-air. This will auto-cancel the forward-air on the platform and leave Peach with minimal landing lag.
Use platform cancelling to quickly move around the stage and cover your opponent's openings.
Input a grab after performing the JCFF to re-grab your turnip.
This is a good way to re-grab your turnip because it essentially allows you to remain grounded and follow-up with your turnip faster.
It's also possible to perform the JCFF from a ledge.
Using a diving neutral-air or turnip throw from the ledge can often help Peach to force her way back on stage.\~\
