Cassado may have been influenced by the Bach Cello Suites when composing the solo suite in 1926. Cassado's teacher was Pablo Casals, credited for rediscovering the Bach cello suites in the early 20th century. Cassado is Barcelonian, and his family moved to Paris when he was 10 where he started his studies with Casals. Many of Cassado's compositions draw from elements of Spanish folk music and French nationalism. Cassado's Catalonian background contributed to the Catlan Cello School and is evident of the virtuoso movement of the 19th century.
There may be connections between the Bach Cello Suites and the Cassado Solo Suite.[3] The three dance movements reflect elements present in the Baroque dance movements, such as adding embellisments as a common practice in baroque performance.

It is among the most significant works for solo cello written since Johann Sebastian Bach's Cello Suites. It contains influences of Debussy and Bartók, as well as the inflections and nuances of Hungarian folk music.
The sonata was written in 1915 but its premiere was delayed due to World War I. It was premiered by Jenő Kerpely (1885–1954; sometimes seen as Eugène de Kerpely) in Budapest on 7 May 1918. Kerpely was the cellist of the Waldbauer-Kerpely Quartet, which had premiered the first four string quartets by Bartók. It was published by Universal Edition in Vienna in 1921.

A heavy sense of pathos runs through the Élégie in E flat minor, underlining what is already suggested by its title – an elegy often serving as a lament for the dead. The quietly mournful beginning, with its lonely melody singing over left-hand arpeggios spanning multiple octaves, is evocative of the Nocturnes written by Chopin, whom Rachmaninoff admired. Nevertheless, the piece remains characteristically Rachmaninoffian throughout, with bell-like sonorities and a grand, distinctly Russian climax appearing during the middle of the piece.
Though challenging, the piece is approachable for amateur pianists of some skill. A powerful interpretation makes full use of the dynamic contrasts between the piece’s different sections as well as between the right and left hand, as indicated by the composer.
The légie is the first of the five pieces of the Morceaux de fantaisie Op. 3, which also includes the famous Prelude in C sharp minor Op. 3 no. 2. The set was composed in 1892 when Rachmaninoff was 19 years old (the same year he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory) and was dedicated to Anton Arensky, his harmony teacher.

"Battle at the Big Bridge" (ビッグブリッヂの死闘, Biggu Buriddji no Shitō?, lit. Big Bridge Battle to the Death), also known as "Clash on the Big Bridge" or "Battle with Gilgamesh", is a recurring theme originally from Final Fantasy V. It was composed and arranged by Nobuo Uematsu in 1992.

As such, it is a theme with many arrangements and remixes, only surpassed in number by prominent motifs of the series itself, such as the "Prelude", the "Opening Theme", the "Chocobo Theme" or the "Victory Fanfare".

Rachmaninov’s Op 2 Pieces for cello and piano, which were among the first of his works to be published by Gutheil, comprise a new version of the F major piano Prélude, and a Danse orientale. The Prélude retains F major as its key and begins at once with the cello’s statement of the main theme, accompanied chordally by the piano. A restatement, slightly more elaborate, follows, leading to a faster section in which the piano assumes greater importance, although both instruments are fully utilized. A strongly varied recapitulation of the opening theme, with the piano more assertive—though still accompanimental—brings the Prélude to a quiet ending. The succeeding Danse orientale, in A minor, is more fluidly constructed, with a characteristic opening theme that is subjected to a variable state of flux in its working, but always returning to A minor. The quiet pizzicato ending is another characteristic touch.

"Melodie on a Theme by Rachmaninoff" is a composition for cello and piano arranged by Modest Altschuler. The piece is a reimagining or variation of a theme originally composed by Sergei Rachmaninoff, a renowned Russian composer and pianist.
Altschuler's arrangement likely takes Rachmaninoff's thematic material and explores it through the lens of the cello and piano. In such arrangements, the arranger often adds their own musical interpretations and stylistic elements while remaining faithful to the essence of the original theme.
The "Melodie" aspect suggests a melodic focus, indicating that the piece likely features expressive and lyrical lines for the cello, possibly with lush harmonies and accompaniment from the piano. Rachmaninoff's themes are often rich with emotional depth and romantic character, and Altschuler's arrangement likely seeks to highlight these qualities through the cello's voice.
The collaboration between cello and piano in this arrangement would involve a dialogue between the instruments, with each contributing to the overall musical narrative. The piano might provide harmonic support, counter-melodies, and thematic material of its own, while the cello carries the primary melody and adds its own expressive nuances and interpretations.
Overall, "Melodie on a Theme by Rachmaninoff" for cello and piano promises to be a captivating piece that showcases the beauty and versatility of both instruments while paying homage to Rachmaninoff's timeless melodies.

Kass is a minstrel who travels throughout Hyrule Kingdom in search of the "Ancient Songs". He has left his family and his hometown of Rito Village to fulfill the final wish of his teacher, the Court Poet. This journey is documented in Kass's Journal, which can be found in a hut on Washa's Bluff.
When Link first encounters Kass, he will recognize the Sheikah Slate that he is carrying, though he excuses himself for prying. If Link asks if he is a bird, Kass is shocked to hear that he has never seen a Rito before. He then introduces himself to Link and asks if he has heard of the "Ancient Songs."He goes on to explain that the "Ancient Songs" are dedicated to the ancient hero who defeated Calamity Ganon 10,000 years ago.
During his journey, Kass can be found at several Stables throughout Hyrule Kingdom. There, he plays a version of Epona's Song that harmonizes with the regular "Stables" theme. At these Stables, he will offer to sing an "Ancient Song" for Link that recounts the previous sealing of Calamity Ganon, which was taught to him by the Court Poet. After singing the song for Link, Kass thanks him and welcomes him back to listen to it again.
At Wetland Stable, Kass asks Link if he has seen the nearby Kaya Wan Shrine, as he knows a lot about Ancient Shrines. He reveals that he learned about them from the Court Poet, as he was a member of the Sheikah tribe that often accompanied Princess Zelda as she surveyed ruins. Kass recounts that the Court Poet was always happy when he shared these memories with him.
Upon meeting Link at Foothill Stable, Kass informs him that there are many theories about the origin of the song he plays at Stables. He heard from the Court Poet that it was a song played by the ancient hero to call his horse companion. He encourages Link to come back and listen to it.
At Gerudo Canyon Stable, Kass will be impressed that he made it so far, as even he struggled to make it there by flying. He recounts that the Court Poet, who served the Royal Family of Hyrule, was forced to flee Hyrule Castle when the Great Calamity struck. He imagines that it was a much more dangerous journey than his own.
When spoken to at Rito Stable, Kass will confess that he is homesick. He admits that he had to leave his wife, Amali, and their children behind when he set out on his journey, and he hopes they are doing well. However, he reveals that he is unable to return until he fulfills his promise to the Court Poet. When Link asks about his promise, Kass will begin to explain, but he then decides now is not the time to reveal his promise. He tells Link that after he learns all of the "Ancient Songs," he will share his promise with him in Rito Village.

In Final Fantasy X, Yuna becomes a summoner like her father before her, and embarks on a pilgrimage to expel Sin, a monstrous creature that terrorizes the world of Spira. She meets Tidus who teaches her there is more to life than sacrifice. In Final Fantasy X-2, Yuna is a sphere hunter on a personal quest to uncover the mystery behind a movie sphere, and becomes involved in rising political tensions and an ancient force that threaten to end Spira's Eternal Calm.
Yuna in Final Fantasy X is the only character who can summon aeons into battle, with her Overdrive allowing her to summon an aeon with their Overdrive already full. Her Sphere Grid path grants her curative and defensive Wht Magic abilities, and she equips rods and rings. Her Celestial Weapon, Nirvana, gives all her spells one MP cost. In Final Fantasy X-2, Yuna's default dressphere is a Gunner, and her special dressphere is the Floral Fallal.
In Final Fantasy X, Yuna wears an ensemble similar to, but widely varied from, those worn by Yevonites: a purple pleated, flower-patterned hakama; black boots; a black spaghetti-string camisole under a white sash that wraps around her neck and over her chest; and a yellow patterned obi with a chōchō musubi knot and a decorative obidome to clinch the cords. Two separate, kimono-like pink and white sleeves secured by purple cords complete the outfit. The design of her staff is based on the Khakkhara, a staff used by practitioners of Buddhism.
Yuna has shoulder-length brunette hair. She wears a blue-beaded earring on her right ear, hidden by a lock of her hair, woven into blue beads with gold rings around the larger, middle bead. She wears a silver necklace of a hibiscus flower along with a matching ring on the pinky of her right hand. She also wears a silver ring on the middle finger of her left hand and two bracelets, one beaded and one silver, on her right wrist. Yuna has heterochromia: her left eye is blue, while the right is green to represent her half-Al Bhed heritage, though without the characteristic spiral.
In Final Fantasy X-2, two years later, Yuna has transformed with a new revealing dress style and a more adventurous personality. Yuna retains her beaded earring and silver hibiscus necklace, but her hair is cropped shorter, resembling Tidus's hairstyle, with a red braid hanging down to her ankles.
Yuna's attire changes for each dressphere, with details that distinguish her from Rikku and Paine. Yuna's default appearance is the Gunner dressphere, an outfit given to her by Rikku in Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm. She dons a modified halter-neck top with the symbol of the Zanarkand Abes across the chest and a pink hood. She wears yellow armbands over her biceps, a black bracelet on her left wrist, and denim bootyshorts. She carries a pouch on her left hip over an ankle-length blue and white half skirt and wears laced knee-high boots. Wearing the Gunner dressphere in combat, she wields her signature Tiny Bee pistols.
In the other dresspheres, Yuna wields her original summoning staves, the Nirvana, Tidus's Brotherhood and Caladbolg swords, a blue variant of Rikku's dagger blades, and Auron's Blurry Moon katana. Her deck theme for the Lady Luck dressphere is spades and her Mascot dressphere is a moogle. Her special dressphere is Floral Fallal whose appearance is designed after the hibiscus flower; yuna is the Japanese name of the Sea Hibiscus, the flower on her obi and her skirt in Final Fantasy X. In a bonus cutscene where the girls spend time in a hot spring in Mt. Gagazet, Yuna wears a pink and cream halter bikini swimsuit.

Sergei Rachmaninoff's Sonata in G minor for Cello and Piano, Op. 19 was completed in November 1901 and published a year later.
Rachmaninoff regarded the role of the piano as not just an accompaniment but equal to the cello. Most of the themes are introduced by the piano, while they are embellished and expanded in the cello's part.
Rachmaninoff dedicated the work to Anatoliy Brandukov, who gave the first performance in Moscow with the composer at the piano, on 2 December 1901. Rachmaninoff seems to have made some last-minute alterations after the premiere, as he wrote the date "12 December 1901" on the score.

"Another Day of Sun" is the opening number from the 2016 musical film La La Land. The ensemble number portrays drivers in a Los Angeles traffic jam on a highway ramp singing and dancing about their aspirations to succeed in Hollywood. The song was filmed on location on a 130-foot-high express ramp of the Judge Harry Pregerson Interchange in three shots, edited with hidden cuts to give the illusion of a single six-minute take. The song was composed by Justin Hurwitz with lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and choreography by Mandy Moore.
Hurwitz noted the tension in the song between the aspirations of the singers and the uncertain outcome of their efforts, noting "It’s an optimistic song, but it’s also about unfulfilled dreams. Paul said, "You pursue that dream, and you go to bed and get up the next day, and it’s a gorgeous day. It encourages you in one breath, and in another breath doesn’t acknowledge that you just failed miserably. You wake up and it doesn’t match your mood. It’s a bright and shiny day."
The song is written in the key of E♭ major, with a tempo of 126 beats per minute. It generally follows an A♭–B♭–Cm–Gm chord progression, and has a vocal range for the various parts of G3–C5. Hurwitz composed the song with a fast-paced tempo predominantly using major keys, but often using minor keys as well, making it "more bittersweet than it may seem on its face" according to Hurwitz. The song also has densely layered background vocals and a full 95-piece orchestra and 40-person choir. Hurwitz tried to feature different elements of the orchestration as the visuals followed different members of the ensemble.

CELLO COVER arranged by Manuel Santapau
In this video, I'm covering the FINAL FANTASY VII: Main Theme ( Nobuo Uematsu ). I play the cello cover version of the Main Theme for you, so you can hear how the song sounds and see how I play it.
If you're a fan of the video game FINAL FANTASY VII, then you'll love this cello cover of the Main Theme! This song is one of the signature tunes of the game, and is sure to bring tears of nostalgia to your eyes. Give it a spin and see for yourself how great this cello cover of the Main Theme is!
"Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII" (F.F.VIIメインテーマ, F.F. VII) is the main theme and world map theme of Final Fantasy VII. It was composed and arranged by Nobuo Uematsu, who builds the piece around a phrase containing a major 7th interval. The phrase returns in several other tracks on the soundtrack, making 7th intervals a staple in the game's identity. An analysis of the Main Theme from Final Fantasy VII is available from Video Game Music Academy.
"Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII" plays while the party travels on the overworld before the Meteor is summoned, but as the game's main theme, its motif is heard in many instances throughout the story. Its variations are the tracks "Dear to the Heart", which plays when the party leaves Midgar and at Mt. Corel, as well as in several towns; "Steal the Tiny Bronco!", which plays during the sequence at Rocket Town where the party acquires the Tiny Bronco; "On That Day, Five Years Ago...", which plays during the Nibelheim Incident flashback; and the airship theme, "The Highwind Takes to the Skies". The melody of the main theme is also included in the ending theme, "Ending Credits". Bits of the main theme melody also play in the background of "Under the Rotting Pizza", which is the theme of the Midgar Slums, and in "Who...Am I?" that plays during times Cloud Strife questions his identity.
"The Highwind Takes to the Skies"
Music
The main theme melody plays late into the "The North Cave" track, that plays in the Whirlwind Maze of the Northern Crater and on the overworld after Meteor has been summoned. The main theme is also part of the ending when "The Planet's Crisis" plays; many themes appear in "The Planet's Crisis" as it plays during the final cutscene of the game. The main theme is played twice: first at 1:13, (alongside "Tifa's Theme"), then at 5:00, with a quiet piano while the characters talk.
In Nibelheim, the melody of the theme can be played on the piano in Tifa Lockhart's house. By doing this during the flashback sequence on disc 1, and again during disc 2 or 3 when Tifa is in the party, the player can obtain her ultimate Limit Break.
"Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII" is track 1 of disc 2 on the Final Fantasy VII: Original Soundtrack. "Dear to the Heart" is track 23 of the soundtrack's disc 1; "On That Day, Five Years Ago...", is track 4 of the soundtrack's disc 2; "Steal the Tiny Bronco!" is track 8 of disc 3 of the soundtrack; "The Highwind Takes to the Skies" is track 3 of disc 4 of the soundtrack; "Under the Rotting Pizza" is track 14 of disc 1; "Who...Am I?" is track 23 of disc 3; "The North Cave" is track 21 of disc 3; and "The Planet's Crisis" is track 17 of disc 4 of the soundtrack; with "Ending Credits" as the final track.
Many fans consider the game's main theme to also be Cloud's character theme, given that it, along with many of the theme's variations, seems to play whenever something significant relating to him happens during the story.

CELLO COVER arranged by Manuel Santapau
"Dragonborn" is the theme song for the soundtrack of the 2011 role-playing video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from Bethesda Softworks, composed by the American composer Jeremy Soule. The composition is Nordic-influenced classical in style and features a chorus singing lyrics in a fictional language, Dovahzul, that was created by Emil Pagliarulo for the game. The composition borrows heavily from "Nerevar Rising", the theme from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, as well as elements from music in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, both of which were also composed by Soule. "Dragonborn" was lauded by critics and audiences alike. It is featured in orchestral performances and spawned numerous covers, many of which combine the song with an in-game, English-language composition "The Dragonborn Comes". One such cover, by Lindsey Stirling and Peter Hollens, holds the Guinness World Record for most viewed cover version of a video game soundtrack.

However, the song has magical properties when sung by a member of Vallite Royalty and the singer wears a special pendant. The song has been taught to all members of the Vallite royal family throughout the centuries. At the beginning of Fates, Azura is the only known singer of the song, which was taught by her late mother. Later, Shigure, Azura's son, also learns the song.
The song has numerous applications, each with a varying degree of effects on allies and terrain, as well as the user themselves. At her weakest power, she can rejuvenate allies so they can perform another action move. With more effort in the song, she can dispel possessions, release traps, and quell a raging dragon. The song, while powerful in its effects, is not without its drawbacks. For the sake of allies' rejuvenation, the song has no visible effects on the singer other than mild exhaustion. Using the song on a more powerful scale requires a great deal of energy, and constant use can lead to great pain for the singer. Excessive use of the song in a short period of time can result in the death of the singer, causing her to fade away and dissipate into mist.
The original version of the song first sung in the first Fates trailer is sung during the Kindred route. She sings a different version of the song with a faster tempo and lower key during the Conquest. Her dance during the different versions of the song are also different. Hoshido's Ella route dance is slower and more graceful, while Ella's Nohr dance is faster and more passionate.

The six Cello Suites, BWV 1007–1012, are suites for unaccompanied cello by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750). They are some of the most frequently performed solo compositions ever written for cello. Bach most likely composed them during the period 1717–1723, when he served as Kapellmeister in Köthen. The title given on the cover of the Anna Magdalena Bach manuscript was Suites à Violoncello Solo senza Basso (Suites for cello solo without bass).
As usual in a Baroque musical suite, after the prelude which begins each suite, all the other movements are based around baroque dance types; the cello suites are structured in six movements each: prelude, allemande, courante, sarabande, two minuets or two bourrées or two gavottes, and a final gigue. Gary S. Dalkin of MusicWeb International called Bach's cello suites "among the most profound of all classical music works" and Wilfrid Mellers described them in 1980 as "Monophonic music wherein a man has created a dance of God".
Due to the works' technical demands, étude-like nature, and difficulty in interpretation because of the non-annotated nature of the surviving copies, the cello suites were little known and rarely publicly performed until they were recorded by Pablo Casals (1876–1973) in the early 20th century. They have since been performed and recorded by many renowned cellists and have been transcribed for numerous other instruments; they are considered some of Bach's greatest musical achievements.

"The Bare Necessities" is a popular song from Disney's "The Jungle Book" movie, released in 1967. The song was written by Terry Gilkyson and was performed by the movie's characters Baloo and Mowgli. The song is a catchy tune that talks about the simple things in life that one needs to be happy.
The lyrics of the song are as follows:
Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life
Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at the fancy ants
Then maybe try a few
The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!
The song is all about enjoying the simple things in life and appreciating the beauty of nature. Baloo the bear sings the song to Mowgli, the movie's main character, to teach him how to live in the jungle and to be happy with what he has. The song became a popular hit and is still enjoyed by people of all ages today.

Over the years, "Nothing Else Matters" has become one of Metallica's most popular songs, and it has been covered by many artists from different genres. The song has also been used in various movies, TV shows, and video games.
Outside of the song, the phrase "nothing else matters" can be interpreted as a personal mantra or a reminder to focus on what is truly important in life. It can also be seen as a statement of surrender, letting go of everything else and trusting in a higher power or a greater purpose.
