Jokabi writes: “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released on my birthday while I was traveling Japan for the first time. I was especially hyped about this game and it didn't take long for me to fall in love with it and its soundtrack.
What started off with just a few remix sketches ended up in a bigger project and eventually an album. Since the soundtracks in the game have a lot of woodwinds, I decided to add flute and wind elements to many of the tracks.
My trip through Japan had its influence on the production, and it was while traveling I decided to make a traditional Japanese folk music inspired remix of Fairy Fountain. Some of the flutes in the tracks are "Dadis" or "Shakuhachis" which are traditional bamboo flutes from China and Japan.
I thought it would be nice to have my brother Mikel feature a few tracks since he ended his Zelda & Chill series with his third album and I'm sure fans would be happy to hear his style represented in Zelda’s Lofi Kingdom.
The illustrator and animator Voyager Spirit is amazingly talented, and perfectly captured the essence of the music with his stunning artwork. It feels like everything fell into place perfectly.”

Super Lofi 64 are brothers Nate and Canaan Evans. With chilled-out videogame tribute albums such as Ocarina of Vibes and Poké Tape 2 under their belts, the duo is also known for their work as Super Piano 64.
Inspired by the Pokémon games that started it all, “Pallet Town” features their signature piano lines taking the lead, along with soothing lo-fi beats. The melody was composed by Pokémon creator Junichi Masuda, and was heard in the series' debut titles Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue for GameBoy.
“Pallet Town” is out now on all online stores and streaming platforms! Support Super Lofi 64 and GameChops by streaming, saving, and adding the track to your playlists.
