Sevenplaza 2025-08-25 | Hi guys, today I’m taking on the #jj3under30 challenge. The idea is to make 3 pieces of ephemera in under 30 minutes… but why make life complicated when you can bend the rules a little? I decided to create one multi-functional piece that can work as a bookmark, a bellyband, or even a side-loading pocket. That’s basically three in one, right? Challenge complete (give or take a minute or two on the clock).

Well… sometimes it just smacks me in the face while scrolling through Instagram. Other times I go on deep dives through Pinterest rabbit holes. But more often than not, it’s YOU—fellow creators—that spark my creative fire.

12X12 PAPER TRANSFORMATION: SEND HELP, I CAN’T STOP ADDING POCKETS

Today I’m diving into a blast from the past — a project I first tackled about three years ago. But let’s be honest, the real reason we’re here is because I couldn’t resist the siren call of some very pretty scrapbook paper. After a solid session of stroking it, sniffing it, and hoarding it like a dragon, I finally decided: enough is enough — the scissors are coming out!

We’re turning just two humble 12x12 sheets into a little folio with approximately 3000 pockets (give or take a few thousand). It’s cute, it’s fun, and it makes you feel wildly productive with very little actual effort — my favorite kind of project.

My best friend has struck again—another mysterious challenge package has landed on my craft table! I’m absolutely hooked on these challenges, and this one had a twist I did not see coming: coffee filters. Yep. Actual coffee filters. Now that’s a curveball.

But don’t worry—I didn’t panic (much). In fact, I brewed up something pretty fantastic! Watch as I turn these humble coffee filters into an elegant bellyband with accordion pockets that might just blow your crafty mind.

Sevenplaza 2025-06-02 | Hi guys, After a short vacation, I’m back at my desk and ready for some serious crafting! A new month means a brand new digital kit, and this time it’s Antique Entomology—a little bit cute, a little bit grungy, and absolutely filled with moths. If you’ve got a stash of “I’ll use this one day” junk mail or an old paper bag you couldn’t throw out (because potential), this is your sign to finally put it to use.

I’ve taken a humble empty paper bag and turned it into an 8-pocket folio masterpiece (or at least something vaguely rectangular that holds stuff). Today we’re rolling with the letter R for #ABCsApril2025 — and let’s just say, I may have accidentally on purpose dropped one prompt and replaced it with five. Because why not go full R-mode?

I'm creating a Ringbound Retro junkjournal with a Recipe theme — stuffed with Ribbons, Ruffles, page Reinforcements (because no one likes a floppy flap), Rub-ons for that vintage magic, and of course... Red. Lots of it. If it looks like it came straight out of Grandma’s 1962 kitchen, I’m in the zone.

Sevenplaza 2025-04-17 | Hi guys, welcome back – where scissors snip, paper flies, and glue sticks to everything except what you meant.

Today’s letter for #abcapril2025 is O, and we’re getting clever with a combo of “One Page Wonder” and “Organizer.” That’s right – we’re making an ephemera organizer using just one sheet of 12x12 scrapbook paper.

You’ll need a little bit of skill (and possibly a second cup of tea), but I’ll guide you through the whole thing step-by-step. It’s easier than finding your scissors under a pile of washi tape.

Sevenplaza 2025-04-13 | Hi guys, A couple of weeks ago, I went on the ultimate treasure hunt at an antique flea market with my BFF and the lovely Sophie from @thecraftyplatipus — and let me tell you, we hit the jackpot! From quirky vintage oddities to dreamy paper ephemera, we found all sorts of beautiful old treasures that just begged to come home with us.

FAUX POSTAGE STAMPS & A FILE FOLDER FOLIO – INSPIRED BY VINTAGE FDC ENVELOPES! #ABCAPRIL2025

Today we’re diving into the letter F for the #abcapril2025 collaboration — and naturally, I’ve wandered off the beaten path again. There are loads of lovely prompts on the list… but why stick to those when you can invent your own, right? So I’ve gone with Vintage First Day Cover envelopes (also known as FDCs if you're feeling fancy). I’m obsessed with the postage stamps on them, so of course I had to make some totally-not-authentic-but-still-very-charming faux postage stamps.

And because I apparently can't stop at one idea per video, I also pulled out one of my all-time favorite supplies: the humble File Folder. With the time I had left, I whipped up a tiny folio to store my new stamps like the faux-postal queen I am.

This time, forget my thrifting adventures because Sophie from @thecraftyplatipus rolled up with a carload of French antique goodness that nearly burst her trunk. Seriously, I don’t know how customs didn’t flag her for excessive fabulousness.

She brought the most amazing antique and vintage treasures with her on her trip from France to the Netherlands, and honestly? No thrift store find that weekend could compete. We had a wonderful time antiquing, but Sophie’s haul totally stole the show.
