APPLE BUTTER:

(makes roughly 12 jars)

3 lbs green + 3lbs red
1 cup brown
1 cup white
1 tsp salt
2 tsps cinnamon
1 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp nutmeg

CANNING:
open kettle canning
wash the jars, boil water and put them in, boil the apple butter, add it to the jars and let it all cool and it will seal

Most of the band recorded together in the room beside me, but the fiddle gets its own room for several reasons 😁 Hope y’all enjoy our arrangement of this one! “O Holy Night” has been a powerful moment in our live shows, and I love the light upbeat touch that comes with this arrangement to carry some weighty and beautiful lyrics.

FISH TACO RECIPE 🌮 🐠

Four parts:
Tilapia
Slaw
Sauce
Tortillas

Tilapia-I usually buy frozen and thaw in bowl of water
•use chile based seasoning (blackened fish seasoning or Cajun seasoning)
•cook in cast iron with avocado oil on medium/medium high heat until golden brown (good solid crust on both sides is best for tacos)

Slaw:
•Bag of slaw mix, then a head of red cabbage (slice long and thin)
•bottle of slaw mix add to preference

Sauce:
Mayo-heavy with this
Sour cream-light with this
Lime juice
Adobo Chiles (add to spice preference)
Cilantro
Honey

Tortillas:
Bake in oven to crisp

Instructions:
Add fish to middle of tortillas, then squeeze lime on fish to freshen, add sauce and slaw on fish, then top with avocado slices. Fold tortilla in half and enjoy!
