It is still hot in Hong Kong so we're glad to hop in the air-conditioned Central Market. It was firstly opened in 1842 and had undergone few re-constructions, with the current building established in 1939. It has ceased operation in 2003 but now in 2021, re-opened with a lot of new shops.
In this video we went in through the Queen's Road Central entrance to 1/F, and then to G/F and alas 2/F to leave at the connecting bridge over Des Vouex Road Central. We were amazed by the large number of people interested in this new hip place, and also found a lot of informative displays about the history inside.
