After 5 long years, this is my final walkthrough of the Minecraft Disneyland project I've worked so hard on. It's been an incredible journey, and I couldn't be happier with how far it's come. I co-founded this project in 2018 with 2 friends of mine, starting from the esplanade and using a train station I'd made in single player as a scaling basis. Back then, the project was a hobby until it blew up in popularity in 2020.

From that point forward, it took up so much of my life. Every single day was Minecraft Disneyland related. It was a full time job, but without the ability to clock out. It was always running, always needing to be attended to. A hard effort, and by 2022 I was exhausted. Going into 2023 I knew my time with the project was coming closer to an end, and my last Newswire reflects that in many ways. To me, that was a proper send off for myself. I technically didn't leave the project fully until August of 2023, but my motivation and the time I dedicated to the project kept on a downward trajectory until then.

Since that point, a lot has changed with the project. Even in this video, which I recorded in January of this year, there's some textures and models that have been changed in a way I don't recognize. Most of the attractions that I had a hand in by the time I left have opened- Monsters Inc and Pirates of the Caribbean's overhaul were two major ones. There are still a few I contributed to that have yet to open to my knowledge.

All that said, I'll always cherish the time I had on the server and what it meant to so many people around the world. I'm unbelievably lucky to have created something I can say I'm this proud of. The builds, the models, the audio, the effects... they all came together to make an exceptional, immersive experience. I met so many of who have become my closest friends through the project, including my incredible partner who I can't imagine my life without. I'll forever be grateful for all I accomplished and all of the lives that the project has touched in a positive manner.

As for the future of this channel? I'm... not quite sure! I wouldn't mind continuing to create behind the scenes videos of some of the things we created. I had requests for videos I'm interested in exploring in the future, such as behind the scenes on Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. I'd be happy to make deep dives that go in-depth on the creation process whenever I have free time among the busy-ness of real world obligations.
