Cerus LCM focused pov [UNIT] Asterius3 2024-03-16 | malice tech explanation:While watching SC/Fungus race we saw some shadows getting to boss with high health but boss didn't get stacks. We tried to reproduce it and it turns out slowed add will take longer to cast their skill that gives 5 stacks. It dies before cast goes off.This only works after 30sec resistance finished.Other thing we saw in WF groups was use of focus pulls. Most "cc immune" adds in gw2 only get immunity 1sec after spawn. We've put the dots together and checked if the shadows cast can be interrupted in that window and it indeed works. Getting timing right is tricky but can be learned with practice.Going forward a way to deal with malice without mesmer portals would be very healthy for groups progging it moving forward. We still managed to beat our first time by 31sec.At the time of posting it's the fastest kill we know of with second best being 27s slower at 12:40. Still a lot to optimize in this fight in comp and strat. We played mostly save to get the weekly kill still.Also if your group is doing HT CM, just steal our strat for Soo Won phase 2. HAM can do reds+greens and free up 2 dps to blast the boss.
