[EDIT: 10/20/22] This video really put me through the five stages of grief, didn't it? Oof, lol.
After much consideration and many requests from viewers, I've decided to make the Mothwing: IIBY PMV's Cover version public again. If it's not clear by now, the worldwide blocking situation devastated me, and at 17 I wasn't really equipped to handle the stress that came with that, so as soon as the original version became available to watch on YouTube again, I privated this video and really pushed The 1975's recording as the definitive version of this project. However, being on hiatus gave me some time to re-consider the kind of relationship I want to have with social media and fandom in general, and I came to appreciate the connection Warriors fans made with this version of IIBY in the process. Daisy Clark's voice really added something special to Mothwing, and I know lots of people agreed, so here it is again!!
I hope fans of my channel will consider both the Cover and the Original as companion pieces to each other, because that's basically what they were anyway before all my meddling and hurt feelings got in the way. And hey!! The fifth anniversary of this PMV is coming up soon anyway, so it seemed like a good time as any to publish this again. Hope ya'll enjoy!
[EDIT: 01/18/18 ] Alright, this is the last time, guys, promise. I had to cut out the entire intro/outro to make this fit to the cover song, and the animation doesn't sync either, but there was nothing I could do about it. :( Nonetheless, for those of you who don't care for the muted version, I hope you like this version. (And at least it has audio!) Thanks for everything, and I'll be back with other videos soon!

Making this PMV has been a journey. All 18 months of it. That’s right, this took me a year and a half to complete. (Note to self: never do that again.) Just kidding! I’ll definitely have more big projects like this in the future! Just…not for a good long while. I’ve felt pretty terrible about my lack of activity on YouTube, and working on (and off) this video has been a pretty big part of that. Therefore, I plan to work on a lot of smaller projects, which equals more uploads for you guys! (Hopefully. Don’t quote me on that.) In the near future, you can expect to see speedpaints, personal art, smaller animations, storyboards and animatics, edits, and hey(!) maybe even some MAP parts! :) I hope you guys will stick with me until then! And here’s a big shoutout to the 1,521 subscribers who’ve stuck with me this long, lol. You guys are awesome! Until next time!

Thank you so much for your interest! Recording is underway, and I should have some animation updates soon! ^^
EDIT: Hi, everyone! Thank you so much for sending in your auditions for my thesis film! I'm making this announcement to update you guys and to address a complication I'm having contacting the VAs through discord. The VA for The Gardener has been chosen and brought on board. If you auditioned for The Gardener, thank you so much for your interest, but the position has been filled!
However, I'm having some trouble contacting the VA for Annie. If you auditioned for Annie, that's currently still up in the air while I'm trying to get ahold of people through discord. (IMPORTANT!!!) IF YOU AUDITIONED FOR ANNIE, please check your discord direct messages/friend requests!! If you see anything from CranberrytheCat, that's me trying to offer you the role and invite you to the server. I don't have any other way to contact you, so if you don't respond to me on discord, I'm just going to have to go down the list of Annie auditions until someone finally gets back to me.
I don't want to give out the cast list until that's been settled. I'll give it a couple more days waiting for my initial Annie contact to respond to my discord friend request/direct message, but after that, I'll choose a different audition. Again, if you auditioned for Annie, PLEASE CHECK YOUR DISCORD FRIEND REQUESTS/ DIRECT MESSAGES!!!
That's all for now! Thank you so much for your patience and support! It means a lot! I'll post the cast list - and allow the VAs to announce they got the part - as soon as I can bring an Annie VA on board to the project. Let's get this show on the road! :3c

My name's Jordyn/Cranberry, and I'm a third-year animation major at the Laguna College of Art and Design. I've been on a bit of a hiatus since starting college, but be sure to peruse my other artwork found across various social media platforms if the mood takes ya!
With my schedule being so busy, I haven't had time to take on MAP parts or do many personal projects, but here's the animation from my Fundamentals of Animation course at LCAD! Mostly just basic stuff, like bouncing balls and simple scenes, but revisiting the 12 fundamentals never hurts. I look forward to the more advanced assignments I'll get in Animation I, which I'm taking next semester. Even though I've enjoyed art and animation as a hobby for over a decade, it's only within the last year I've decided I really want to pursue it as a career, and I'm striving to make that dream a reality! The work has been really challenging, but even when it's hard, and I'm stressed out, I honestly can't see myself doing anything else. Wish me luck! I'll have more to show soon!
Until next time!

Barely!!! Just took an extra day to draw the thumbnail and edit everything together. I can't believe I took this part a year ago, but it WAS a pretty busy year for me. I got my first job, completed my portfolio, and got accepted to art school! Uploads might slow down from here while I go through uni, but I wouldn't want to be doing anything else! Your girl is officially an animation major :DDD Let's see how that goes, lol.

Though I've made some art for the characters in the past, this is the first time I've ANIMATED them!!! In their...catified forms, lol. Yes, this part is for SEGAMasterGirl's Warriors/MHA crossover AU MAP: Heroes!
For my part, I animated Deku/Mosspaw running into Ururaka/Robinpaw for the first time! Much like in the anime, Mosspaw trips over his own paws and nearly gets an awful scrape when Robinpaw saves him with her anti-gravity Quirk! Best buds at first sight!!! I absolutely fell in love with these two on my first run watching the anime, and SEGA's cat designs for all the characters are top-notch!
I've animated more since finishing the storyboards in early summer, so I'll post those soon. I just have to upload things in chronological order or my brain freaks out, lol. More to come! :D

Thanks for letting me join, Alari! I had a ton of fun playing around with the bright color palettes and comic book style! Not many MAP parts offer such a perfect opportunity to incorporate a Tex Avery-esque gag like the Crowfeather-shaped hole in the ground, lol. I hope everything looks okay! :D _____

The scene described here is that of Sol's mother, Cinders, telling him and his littermates stories of the ancient Skyclan cats. By then, the clans are mere legend, so I tried to play up the fanciful aspect of it. My inspiration came from Chinese scroll art and Persian and Indian depictions of big cats. I had a lot of fun experimenting with vibrant colors and linework with a more "ink brush" feeling. And in case anyone missed it, Sol's expression in the last shot is a subtle nod to young Izuku watching a video of All Might in episode one of MHA. ^^
Constructive criticism and feedback is always welcome! Thank you so much for watching!

I joined this MAP after seeing Into the Spiderverse for the first time, and knew I had to join because, between Spiderverse, MHA, and Avengers: End Game, I've got a thing for superheroes right now. I'm really excited to experiment with my art this time around - thinking I might go for a more graphic/comic style with speech and movement symbols and everything! :D
So thank you, Alari, for letting me join your MAP!!! (And for letting me snag two parts heehee - these two just HAD to go together!) I hope I can do this part justice!

I was totally stoked to get a part in Nifty-Senpai's newest MAP for one of the most underrated baddies in the series: Sol!! 8D It goes without saying how much Nifty has contributed to the community, and I'm obviously a big fan, lol. My part depicts a young Sol listening to his mother, Cinders, tell legends of the ancient Skyclan cats and their larger-than-life history. Also a pleasure to be animating alongside my inspirationsand fellow battle cats fans: Sagutoyas, Nightfall, RAEVAI as well as tons of other artists I highly regard. This MAP's gonna be a good one, guys, I can tell! :D Nifty's art direction and script are on point, and I'm very happy to contribute. I hope y'all will stick around for my finished part!

This is part 19 of Alex Harrier's Crookedstar MAP: Amen, which has been a loooong time in the making. I actually had most of the animation finished for a few weeks now, but with the spring semester just starting, things got a little hectic while I became accustomed to my new schedule. I uploaded a process of the first scene of this part onto my Twitter where I received a ton of nice feedback, so I'd like to thank any of my watchers who saw it over there first! C: It helped kick my butt into gear, and voila!!! I finished editing this in one day!
The animation took much longer to make than it would normally, school being what it is. Nevertheless, I'm very proud of the final result. It's not as flashy as Man on the Moon, but I put a lot of care into the acting of the characters. So it's a bit more subtle than some of my other work, but I hope the effort still shows! I especially had fun working on the backgrounds and drawing the shadows on the ground. I've never animated shadows before! :D I think it really helps place the characters in the scene.
Special thanks to Alex Harrier for letting me join her MAP and to all my fellow MAP participents who provided much encouragement and feedback over on the discord server.
Until next time!

Uploading my Mothwing PMV seems so long ago; that video is what really kicked off my channel, so I thought it fitting to end my reel with the final clip from that video. 2018 has been a really busy year for me: I got my driver's liscence, my family moved away from our hometown, and I finished my first semester of college. So with all that turmoil, I'm pretty proud of my art output this year! Since college started, I've had less and less time to work on such things, but I hope I can be even more productive in the following year! See you guys in 2019! I can't wait! :D

Until Next time!Amen - Part 19 WIPCranberry the Cat2018-09-21 | Hey, guys! I'm back with another MAP part, this time for Alex Harrier's "Crookedstar: Amen". The concept and script for this MAP are so amazing and do a wonderful job of telling his story, and I'm so glad to be part of a project dedicated entirely to him! He's been one of my favorite characters since the series began, so getting a part for this means a lot to me.
It did take a bit longer than I hoped it would to upload this, thanks to college work killing me these past few weeks. Thankfully, I was finally able to finish the initial keyframing and render it! :D Some of the camera moves look a wee bit wonky to me, but I plan to fix those in the future. I really want to try pushing my subtle acting to contrast the fun, bouncy, almost rubbery animation in my last MAP part for Man on the Moon. With my host's and fellow participants' support and advice, I hope to make this one of my best animations yet! Wish me luck!
Until next time!
Programs Used: Photoshop CC and a wacom tabletMan on the Moon // Part 4Cranberry the Cat2018-08-14 | Hello again! :D Trying something a little different in the way I present my MAP parts here on Youtube. Took some extra work, but I think I like the more polished feel to this video. Let me know what you guys think of it in the comments! ^^
I joined this one week MAP in the hopes that it would get me out of my art funk, and ended up taking two weeks on it instead, lol. Many late nights were spent on this, but I'm very proud of the end result! I'm happy to say it lived up to my vision for it, and I hope I can reach even greater heights from here!
Gah, each time I do one of these I feel like I'm making my art come to life a just little bit more! ^^ It's such an happy rush!
Toning down on the exclamation points for a second, lol, summer is coming to a close very soon for me, but I'll try to stay as active as I can. I'm a little bummed that I didn't do as many personal projects as I hoped over these last three months (read: none), but sometimes life takes you by surprise. Moving, graduation, all that good stuff. Flew me by! Whoooo!
On the bright side, this MAP d i d help me get out of my art block somewhat, so thank you, Sagutoyas for giving me the chance to participate! :D More MAPs, and with any luck some p e r s o n a l projects (lol, we'll see ;w;) to come!
Until next time!
Programs Used: Photoshop CCMan on the Moon - Part 4 (WIP)Cranberry the Cat2018-07-30 | Hello! I'm back at MAPs again! :D This time with Jayfeather starring in Sagutoyas's Man on the Moon. (I'm so stoked to be part of this you have no idea.) Basically, Jayfeather is jumping from cloud to cloud when he quite literally falls into another cat's dream. I chose to do the collective memory of the New Prophecy crew reaching the end of their journey at the Sun-drown place. I imagine Jayfeather would be amazed to see such a sight and experience what his parents did all those moons ago.
I tried to be more deliberate with my storyboard this time, since I wish I had planned things out better in my part for Je Te Pardonne. A few shots go by too fast, and some animation had to be cut to make it all fit within the time limit. Not my best use of layout either... So I hope this makes up for it! (And I hope I can finish it by Friday, rip me.)
Until next time!

Gosh, I gotta say, drawing with Beth's designs was so much fun! :D I tried again at stylized backgrounds and I they turned out better than the first time with Rewrite the Stars. I hope the semi-animated PMV look turned out alright-looking.
Also, I felt the thumbnail was appropriate since I've decided that this will be the last MAP part I do for the summer. I'm not saying that I'll never do any MAP parts again EVER, or even that I'll keep that resolution, lol. (Knowing me, it's doubtful. Je Te Pardonne was supposed to be my last one, and here I am!)
I just need a bit of a break. There are personal animated projects, art for friends, speed paints, writings, commissions, and a ton of other things I want to accomplish before I start college this fall semester. I'll probably be really busy then and I want to use the next two months for things I might not have time for later. I hope you guys understand and look forward to what I have in store!
Programs Used: Photoshop CC, Wacom tablet, After EffectsJe Te Pardonne // Part 24 & 25Cranberry the Cat2018-06-14 | Finally finished it! :D Looking back, I wish I had left more room for some of the scenes to breathe a little (a few parts go by a little too fast, in my opinion), but I honestly think this MAP part has some of my best animation to date! I think I'm finally getting a handle on doing bigger movements, particularly at the last part where Squirrelflight sings "Now it's time for me to move on." I had some much fun experimenting with the timing on that move, and it taught me a lot about staging too--something I hope to work on more in the future.

Beffalumps requested that Redtail look more subdued and emotionally distant so I fixed that and also added more frames on Ravenpaw. This one is pretty much how all the final movement should look, so all that's left to do is get drawing!
(I'm also gonna take down the old one, so don't worry when it disappears, lol.)
Until next time!Rewrite the Stars // Part 13Cranberry the Cat2018-05-18 | Hooray! Finished another one! Just one more to go! :D
I actually had SO MUCH FUN ON THIS??? There are tons of problems throughout, (looking back, I wish I'd spent more time on refining the shading), but ultimately, I think this is really good. In the closeup shot of Silverstream, there's already TONS of improvement from my first attempt in January for my Mothwing video. I also tried to go a little more stylistic for my backgrounds, but I'm not sure how well I succeeded, lol. Let me know what you think in the comments! :D

Animation is hard, guys.Look What You Made Me Do - Hollyleaf MAP//Part 13Cranberry the Cat2018-04-06 | Well, this is different. So, this is technically the first MAP part I ever signed up for, way back when I was still working on my Mothwing video. And now I finally have it done!
I admit that I procrastinated on this for a while because I was unsure of what to do for my part. I was only told to "show Hollyleaf's anger over not being chosen" and "be creative!", but I don't usually do well with non-descriptive instructions, lol. (You should really see my text storyboards.) But once I started signing up for all those other MAPs, I knew I needed to get a move on.
SO, I whipped up this concept and decided to go a little experimental. Most people have commented about my backgrounds and clean lineart, so here is my part: rough, sketchy, and almost completely devoid of those pesky backgrounds. I went WAYYYY out of my comfort zone for this one, but I'm glad I did because it turned out to be a lot of fun.
I'll be uploading a WIP of my part for Rewrite the Stars sometime this weekend, so stay tuned for that! Until next time! :D

THANK YOU GUYS FOR 7,000+ SUBSCRIBERS!!!! I read every comment and I appreciate all of the support I've been shown here in the Warriors community. You guys are da real MVPs!
This was kind of a nice, relaxing break from RAIEB. I remember working super hard to get all the animation done on time, and then I had the issues with the background, and--it was fun, but perhaps a wee bit stressful. So it was nice to "return to my roots", so to speak, and do a PMV style part. The tweening didn't turn out to be as hard as I thought, and I'm rather happy with how the whole thing looks overall. The tense, dark atmosphere was a lot of fun to work on, and it made me think of drawing the scene where Hawkfrost sneaks up on his sister in my Mothwing PMV. Looks like we know where he got the dramatic entrances from! Lol.
Note for the host: I decided to make another one with text, just to give you an idea of where the title and other stuff can go. Feel free to use mine, or do your own thing with the textless version. :3 I'll post send space as soon as it's done uploading.

This MAP has so many things going for it, I'm ecstatic I got in. Firstly, t's Tawnypelt-centric, which, in and of itself is fantastic. She deserves more love and was one of my favorites in The New Prophecy. (Even though she didn't get a lot of screen time or a book in her POV if I remember correctly.) Secondly, the song is from Sweeney Todd. Nuff' said. Thirdly, it has great designs, a great script, a great concept, and I could go on. Basically I'm very excited! :D And I'll be trying some basic tweening in this one, so that should prove interesting...

Welp, here is my first real, completed MAP part! I wanted to really push myself with this one, on account that I was going to be collaborating with so many talented artists, but...I think I may have been a little overambitious. ':D The turnaround ended up being a little bit trickier than I thought it would be--particularly animating the sky. However, I think I pulled it off rather well, and I'm quite proud of the finished product. Programs Used: Photoshop CC and a Wacom tablet Time taken: about a week, working for a few hours each day
The best part is the cut off prevention image, tbh.Ready As Ill Ever Be MAP Part 8 (WIP)Cranberry the Cat2018-02-05 | Here's my WIP for part 8 of HITA EighthSun and Sparrow's World's Ready As I'll Ever Be MAP. I only realized that I got the part right after Meow286 and Nightrizer after I saw their WIPs in the MAP part playlist, and I was immediately like: O_O "How will I ever live up to the senpais?" And then everybody starting turning in their WIP parts so fast and I just askqqpkxpmaknq
Anyway, once I got over my nervousness, lol, I tried to think up what would be most impressive and came to this conclusion: a turnaround shot, of course! It was only after I'd sat down to start drawing that I realized I didn't know how to DO a turnaround shot. Luckily, it wasn't as hard as I thought, but the backgrounds were a different story. I'm still kinda figuring out how to do the editing for such a shot, but hopefully it all looks okay in the final product. I should be back soon with the finished version, so stay tuned! Until next time! :DIf I Believe You - Mothwing PMVCranberry the Cat2018-01-13 | *in Mushu’s voice* I LIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!!! Am I cool enough to join MAPs yet?

If you don’t like reading long posts but still want to know what's going on, here’s the short version of the story, Moonkitti style!
Scenes from the city to the forest represent the rogue Sasha’s journey to the clans, where she dumps her two kits, Mothwing and Hawkfrost, in Riverclan and then takes off. “What now?” asks Mothwing. “Blackmail, of course!” answers Hawkfrost.
Hawfrost sneaks out past his bedtime to trick Riverclan’s local old guy into making his sister the medicine cat apprentice, and the old guy buys it.
“You need a teacher. I can show you the ways of the Force,” the old guys says to Mothwing. “Um…okay,” Mothwing agrees. “As long as you don’t abandon me like my mom did, that sounds fine!” “All according to plan,” Hawkfrost says, while smiling evilly in public. For some reason, nobody finds this strange.
Literally one second later the old guy ascends to heaven on the fifty yard line, leaving Mothwing all alone. “What now?” she asks. “Blackmail, of course!” answers Hawkfrost, emerging dramatically from the fog machines he set up beforehand.
Mothwing becomes an atheist, deciding that if Starclan existed they wouldn’t let her brother pick on her all the time.
In the next scene, Tigestar Clone #2 is now dead, thanks to the efforts of Tigerstar Clone #1. But this is warrior cats, and people die every day, so everyone pretty much goes right back to normal.
With her brother gone, things are going great for Mothwing! She gets to keep her job + a new apprentice! :O Mistyfoot smiles trustingly at her. “Isn’t it so great that we have a God-fearing medicine cat?” :) Mothwing does the anime sweat droop thing before leaving to pretend to speak to dead cats she doesn’t believe exist.
At the Moonpool, Jayfeather calls her bluff using his physic powers, but luckily Leafpool, who’s in on the whole thing, convinces him not to tell anyone.
Later, Mistystar gets her extra lives and discovers that Mothwing does NOT believe in Starclan when she doesn’t show up for her promotion party. She fires Mothwing immediately.
…And then changes her mind a day later after her son accidentally becomes a chew toy for one of the neighborhood dogs. Mistystar realizes that getting rid of their best doctor was a bad idea, and lets Mothwing have her job again.
Mothwing literally watches ghost cats fight each other, but decides to remain an atheist and insists to everyone else that the fourth series was just a mass hallucination.
Her clan still likes her, but she feels out of place among the other medicine cats because she’s an Omen-of-the-Stars denier. She walks off to ask the sky what’s the matter with her, and the sky answers by briefly showing her a constellation of a moth. “This doesn’t help,” says Mothwing.

And it only took me a month! :'D And.... Youtube totally ruined the adio quality. D: I wanted to make this meme for a while using my two fursona's Cranberry (the pink and white cat) and Aquamarine (the blue husky). Now for the story behind the two:
I'm an Ambivert and these two more or less represent the two halves of my personality with some overlapping attributes. I created Cranberry when I was eleven and the only animating system I had was Flipnote Studio on the DSi. She was meant to represent me, but she kinda gained a life of her own and nowadays is more "inspired" by me than "actually" me. So I made another character, Aquamarine, and gave her traits of mine that don't quite fit Cranberry. They are two sides of the same coin; they are the two halves of my personality that make a whole (me!): thus my use of the yin yang symbol.
Aquamarine is shy (though not necessarily quiet), thoughtful, self-conscious and a bit temperamental. Cranberry is outgoing, confident, and sweet, but also clumsy and prideful. I want people to see me as the the positive sides of Cranberry's character, so I tend to use her more often to symbolize this.
I hope you guys like the animation! :) I'll try to upload more in the future, and I have something in the works (I promise ;V;), but don't expect anything anytime soon!
Everything was animated and drawn with Photoshop CC and edited in Adobe After Effects. Original meme by Silvaan. I should also mention that my version of it was inspired by Finchwing and MapleSpyder's collab.Secret//Mothwing and Hawkfrost PMVCranberry the Cat2016-01-01 | This is my first video ever, and I'm pretty excited! I think Hawkfrost is kind of a sad character. He never really was a good villain in my opinion, because he was only following in the paw steps of a father he never knew. I would've liked to include Brambleclaw in this video, but I thought it best to keep the focus on Mothwing. I hope the story came across okay.
The quality is atrocious thanks to uTube, but I learned a lot. Criticism is appreciated.
I drew all the pictures in Artrage Studio with a Wacom tablet and stylus and put it together in iMovie, for anyone interested. It took me about three months working on and off.
