Again based on a photo from an abandoned mental hospital I built the diorama in such a way that I could film it from multiple angles. It’s a bit larger than most of my work and was a fun experiment. Realistic Abandoned Building Diorama w/ Vines Growing on Windows Abandoned Miniatures 2021-03-26 | In this video I make a diorama based on a photo I took the very first time I went urban exploring back in 2008. This was originally a laundry building at a psychiatric center and was left abandoned. Nature began taking over and vines were growing up the sides of the building and windows. Silent Hill 4: The Room Diorama Build Abandoned Miniatures 2021-03-12 | In this video I make a diorama based on the video game Silent Hill 4: The Room on the PS2. This diorama is a little different from my usual work recreating real life abandoned places but there are a lot of similarities in the techniques and final look of this piece that made it worthwhile for me to create. Making an Abandoned Door Diorama with Realistic Vines Abandoned Miniatures 2021-02-26 | In this video I make a diorama of a door from an abandoned mental asylum. It’s based on a photo I took years ago and at the end I compare it with the diorama. I use different types of miniature vines to give life to this old brick building. The bricks were made with pieces of foam board and painted.The idea behind most of my projects is to recreate these amazing places without the graffiti and vandalism that happens as time goes on. This one is different because it did not have any graffiti and I wanted to recreate it purely for its incredible story of nature taking back the building after its many years of abandonment.
