This also isn't the first movie in my collection to have DNR. My Star Trek DVD boxset is an infamous DNR mess and the same is the case with my Rambo Trilogy set. This also isn't my first 4k James Cameron film though his movies do seem to get fucked with by his own need to needlessly tweak and remove grain. The 4k of Terminator 2 is one of the worst purchases I have ever gotten. But the good news was that was cheap this wasn't.

Star Wars Blu-ray Changes Rant (Part 3): Darth Vaders NO is That Bad! darthbriboy 2024-01-16 | This is a rant that has been long overdue. Ironically the first video I made on this topic I had made two years after that change was made, now I rant about the worst change to the entire Star Wars Saga almost 13 years after the Blu-ray Set came out. That change is Darth Vader's infamous "Noooooooooo" at the end of Return of the Jedi. This fucking change is so bad that it required a 17 minute rant just to explain how horrible it is and why it kills a fantastic scene and turns it into a rage inducing couple of seconds that takes you out of the emotions the scene conveys. Or it is edited in so badly that this emotionally intense scene becomes laughable! In short take off your rose tinted glasses of when Lucas had control of Star Wars because he was doing dumb shit like this! And yes it deserves every last bit anger and deconstruction I can put into it. Because this scene deserved to be ripped into when I saw it in 2011, but the difference is I can dissect how horrible it is as a late 20s man instead of an angry late teens teen. Enjoy the rant.

I am saddened that in many cases the discussion within the fandom have become more about the sequels and disney era content and how the franchise is handled by them and what I feel is the original sin more worthy of a discussion or debate is basically the original cuts of Star Wars being lost to time because George Lucas didn't want to remaster those original versions like he had done with the Special Editions and continued to do until 2011. Though my anger is not only with George Lucas it is also with Disney not releasing the theatrical cuts post their merger with Fox back in 2017!
