TNA Wrestling revealed on their official website that The Great Muta met with Jeff Jarrett and TNA officials in Nashville today. The Great Muta runs Wrestle-1 promotion in Japan. Below is the official statement:
On Tuesday afternoon, Japanese wrestling legend The Great Muta was at the TNA Offices in Nashville, Tennessee for a business meeting with TNA officials, including TNA founder Jeff Jarrett. The Great Muta, who runs Japan's WRESTLE-1 promotion under Gen Sports Entertainment, was in Nashville to discuss future opportunities between TNA and WRESTLE-1. I have been told that we may see Shane Douglas back on TV for a one night only thing in the next month or so, not sure where, but from what I heard, it could be RoH, but that is all the information I have at the moment.
The 4 biggest names possible for the August1Warning are as follows: Lo-Ki, Adam Pearce, John Klinger and finally, the newest is Jesse Sorrenson, it's suggested he's release is a work.
Dave Batista seems to be playing on the August1Warning himself, not saying it's him, because it's not, but it seems as if he's helping TNA sell it by reposting the video.
Though it's not this man either, but someone pointed out, that maybe it could be Bobby Lashley, he and Batista have had a little bit of war of words before, but so has Lashley and Lesnar, neither man seems to like the other, at least in the case of Lesnar and Lashley there's actual wrestling ability between the two of them, just in my eyes, Lashley was held back because of what Lesnar did to the WWE, and Lashley can't go many places where he isn't compared to Lesnar.
