Anyways, here's a showcase of some of the new things that I've worked on. Haven't posted too much as a lot of the work that has been done isn't really stuff that makes for a good video... Lots of behind-the-scenes stuff like fixes & minor physics updates. Sadly, like with some cars before, because these night-time models for these are done by hand via hex-editing, some of them aren't exactly 100% accurate to the real thing, but they'll have to do for now.
Many of the cars that were added are either different specs of cars than in GT4 or have different colour options, like the returning GT2 car '98 Prelude SiR, and the Alpine & Beetle have unique colours as well. It's nice that they have something unique about them. Other changes I can mention that I didn't show, cars that originally were carburetted can now have EFI-Conversion kits in place of the ROM Tuning, this produces extra power for those cars (and is a bit more costly.) Also, as a little extra added realism, cars now have increased tire wear on sand/grass, simulating the tires getting dirty and "damaged". This will encourage clean driving more. The engine part system has also been revamped, now the program that originally generated the new NA/Turbokit parts generates all of the engine parts for cars, taking into account the engine specs. Additionally, events are getting a sort of rework again, they were previously rather rushed for the December Proto release. The design behind the current A.I parameters aim to make the A.I dive hard into corners, while taking caution on corner exits. This should make them faster on average than before.
And, for anyone interested, like I mentioned, there was a prototype release of the project in December that you can play, available from the Discord servers releases section. There's not yet another update to the prototype, I'm waiting on making significant progress in events. Also, there's still more new cars to come and they are a bit of work to do.
PS. Sorry, the video came out of the editor in a rather low quality I feel.

Both are running Racing Medium tires, without ASM/TCS.
I recently did another big physics update, focusing on drivetrains & suspensions. This time around, I don't think there's anything that GT4 does better anymore. Tire physics were also updated some time ago, which fixed a lot of the issues the original GT3 tire physics had. I think I'm closing in on the maximum possible realism out of the GT3 engine.
You can really see how alive the car is in GT3:C, rough use of curbs upsets the car balance, even bouncing it afterwards thanks to the stiff suspension, and you can see much more play in the drivetrain, how it reacts to the road. I think you can also see a little bit of drivetrain flex in action.
A more in-depth video will be (hopefully) out soon, showing more of the changes specifically.

Recently GT3:C got a major suspension damper physics update, which fixed or reduced issues in the vanilla physics. The suspensions act less "robotic", there's more suspension travel, and the suspensions are far more reactive than before. I considered this one of the key issues with GT3's original physics, especially comparing how GT2 actually had decent suspensions compared to GT3, in my personal view. Now with these suspensions there's also more bodyroll and body movement, another issue I had with GT3. GT3:C also got updated car body yaw values.
Now comparing to GT4, during racing, GT4's suspensions feel completely flat and static compared. I would say I very much prefer GT3:C's new physics over GT4, but I do realize GT4 does some things better than GT3:C; I quite like the very small suspension movements after stopping a car, and I also like that there's even more suspension travel in GT4 (although I feel like it is massively exaggerated in situations like accelerating and braking.) Sadly, thanks to hardcoding limitations, I can't really do much more about suspension travel and that small "jiggling".
Also, about the tires, after seeing how GT4 performed in the "reversing & accelerating" test, there's definitely some things I have to do in the tire compound physics department. Otherwise, GT3:C takes the cake in the tires, GT4's understeer, oversteer, tire slip and handbrake turns are just awful.

It became fully functional thanks to @captainc8331 dumping both the Lupo 1 and Subaru GTC demos, so massive thanks to him! Additionally, some new cars also came of these builds, but some require quite a bit of work to finalize so I'll be showing those off at a later time.
This version was not fully complete on it's own, but using finalized data from GT4P Prius Fuji Speedway allowed the course to be fully functional. I do notice that the course replay cameras could be better, and I probably will try the GT4P Prius replay camera files if they've improved the cameras there. Additionally the coursemap texture is an unfinished one by default, so I'll fix that by using the finalized one from GT4P Prius. (Also, I've increased the tire wear rate for the video.)

The night models for the cars were created by hand by hex-editing the original models. As such, they're nowhere near accurate to their actual GT4 night models, but they'll have to do for now. Some of the cars have different looking colours, or even completely new colours, that didn't appear in GT4, like the extra colours on the Primera. The cars are using GT4's data for the light VFX, and while they work fine for the headlights, the brake lights are clearly too bright. This is something I'll adjust later. I may add more of the GT4P cars, but currently it feels like unnecessary work, as I know a majority if not all of the cars in GT4P already existed in the 2003 GTC demo discs, so I'd rather wait for those demos to be dumped than go through the tedious process of creating night models. (And of course, not all models even are suitable to be created due to how they were programmed.)

I've been wanting to try this for a while now and today I tested it successfully. Turns out, you can edit the physics intended for 4-wheeled cars to work on a "2-wheeler"... somewhat.
It wasn't tricky to get the wheels merged into "2" wheels, but it was tricky having the physics somewhat stable and so that the bike doesn't lean. If leaning of the body is allowed, it doesn't work very well, especially because it will attempt to lean to the opposite side you're turning to. I'm a bit annoyed by how it currently works, because I already had the physics much more stable once, but seems I accidentally changed something so I had to attempt stabilizing the physics again. It's surprising that it works so well, because just a single small change of a value will ruin the physics completely and the bike will simply fly around the map. Also, sadly, the wheel models intended for the bike don't work properly. They're very small, and include the tire model with them. If there was a way to make them bigger & remove the default tire models, then it would look pretty awesome. Currently it uses the Spoon S2000 race car wheels as they're a nice black. And, obviously, if you didn't know, this model was a hidden model in GTC. It replaced the Lancia Stratos model, for whatever reason.
I might try to tinker with the data later some more to get it working better.
About the bike physics data, they're not 100% accurate to the real deal, but relatively close. I used a similar bikes data for reference from Tourist Trophy.
I'm not so sure if I want it to be an included "car" in GT3:C... maybe as a secret-only car that you'll have to figure out yourself how to obtain it if you really want it.

Firstly, I recently finished making a proper tool that can generate new opponent car data from the base car data files with the help of A.I. This means that creating new opponent cars is now a breeze, allowing quick and easy opponent creation & customization. Additionally, the events feature no catch-up effects. Also, the enemies go full throttle and drive as hard as they can. The events now become harder event by event, and give out different prize money, also having different opponents in each event, from a total pool of 43 cars.
Also, the prize car that you currently win was only there as the result of a test, it's not the actual planned prize car. Now, before I fully dive in to work on the events, there's still some car physics work to finish up so that I don't have to modify any opponent car data later. But do note that this is only a quick first demonstration, so opponent cars aren't balanced with each other, as seen in the video with some cars being substantially faster than others. Additionally, the Stadium Super Speedway is there just for change, I'm not entirely sure if I'll keep it as the starter course.

I recently tested GTPSP tires in GT3, and they felt very natural & more realistic. After a lot of testing, I decided that they will most likely be kept for the GT3:C release. Back when I tested GT4 tire physics, naturally, just like GT4, they felt very off and buggy. They had the signature GT4 understeer & non-existent/buggy oversteer, which completely prevented handbrake turns & doing donuts, and overall it was very difficult to lose control of the rear of the car.
And yes, I did have a "misclick" with the Evo7, I'm driving on keyboard.
Additionally, good news for the project, I recently wrapped up the car suspension work, so they're now all updated.

The turbine data is generated with a custom algorithm that uses the car's cylinder count & engine displacement as reference to calculate appropriate turbine data.
This is how the turbos are assigned to cars: Car has a single turbo from the factory/Is naturally aspirated: Stage 1 - Single Turbo - Small, Low-RPM Stage 2 - Single Turbo - Small, Low, Medium-High RPM Stage 3 - Twin-Turbo - Medium, All-Around Stage 4 - Single Turbo - Big, High-RPM
Car has a twin-turbo setup from factory: Stage 1 - Twin-Turbo - Small, Low-RPM Stage 2 - Twin-Turbo - Small, Low, Medium-High RPM Stage 3 - Twin-Turbo - Medium, All-Around Stage 4 - Single Turbo - Big, High-RPM
Stage 1 - Turbos now have extreme focus on low-end performance, and they very quickly lose performance at medium RPMs. Stage 2 - Turbos have a focus on low to medium-high RPM performance, losing performance close to redline. Stage 3 - Turbos are a twin-turbo setup for every car. Aims for good all-around performance and power, this is meant to be the go-to turbo. Stage 4 - Turbos are large, single turbos for every car. Heavily sacrifices low-end performance for maximum high RPM power.
With the calculations, smaller engines will get a lesser boost than larger engines, but the calculation formula aims to balance the differences so that big-engined cars don't get a massive advantage. It also takes into account if the car was originally equipped with a turbo, and adds a small handicap to the power figures to balance them with NA cars. The aim of the revamped turbos is to make the decision for what turbo to use actually matter, originally the Stage-4 turbo was always the best choice as it had very little lag.
The calculations will most likely still see some small tweaks before the turbos get created for all cars. Additionally, after the turbo data is finished, I will create further calculations for the rest of the engine parts, like NA-tune, mufflers and so on, also using car engines as reference for the data. The low/high torque figures will also get tweaked, depending on if the part is meant for low/medium/high RPM usage.Gran Turismo 3: Concept - Updated Arcade Mode MenusMisuka ミスカ2023-11-11 | Today I'll quickly showcase the new stuff added to Arcade mode. There are placeholder textures (until proper ones can be created), and there's some other issues with the courses themselves having too high start speeds or similar problems, I will try to minimize these. The Route 5 Pod Race version has only been included for when possibly new events are eventually added as well, specifically for Pod race. The course wont see use otherwise. The menu changes would not be possible without BTEST4HE, so credit for being able to customize menus goes to him! @BTEST4HE Also credit to GirkovArpa and kapilpokhrel for texture archive editors used in the menus.

The car model needed a lot of tweaks; The brake/headlight VFX had to be made using a combination of beta & final data, the brake models poked through the wheels, the car reflection model was way too bright, the menu model didn't display the undercar shadow, the tire textures were bugged out, among other things.
Despite the model being finished, there is still one problem I'd like to fix; The rear of the car is a bit too reflective. But problem is, it is very difficult to reduce the reflectiveness only on the back of the car. I might do it eventually though, if I find a reasonably simple way to achieve it.
A tiny bit of background for the car. This specific model is the same model featured in GT2; It is a 1999 concept of the Motorsport Elise. The model featured in retail GT3 and later GT's is the production 2000 version. The car was modeled after the 1999 model for GT3's beta versions, but was ditched in favour of the production model eventually.

A limited selection of cars (using logic like whether the car was available with a 4WD drivetrain IRL) can now equip a 4WD drivetrain & LSD. The LSD is important, as if you don't equip it as well, the normally undriven axle will behave as if it didn't have a differential at all, meaning it's a crucial part to equip along with the drivetrain change. All of the data that comes with the drivetrains is made with care and is as realistic as possible. Adjusting the LSD's works like normal, but the only difference is that the "LSD Initial Rear" setting uses the slot where you'd normally adjust the AYC strength.
The game properly recognizes the change, and it will not allow you to enter the wrong drivetrain events, and even if you try to change the drivetrain during a race, it will prevent you if it is against the rules of the event.
I've had this idea for a long time, and I already tested it for the first time a while back, but I decided that now is the time to do it for real!

It uses all of the usable old data it had, and now the A.I has finally been fixed so that they can enter the pits properly. Before, the A.I would attempt to enter the pits too late, so they would miss it every time. I've adjusted tire wear for the A.I here so they pit quickly. Also, 2-Player mode works properly on the course now too. On the old version I made, it wouldn't work. Qualifying mode of GT Mode also works. I thought I'd never see the day when the course is fully compatible, but the day is finally here. This also means that the beta Super Speedway will be kept as a part of Gran Turismo 3: Concept, alongside the retail version we got.
All I can say, it was incredibly difficult to get the A.I fixed. The data that had to be changed appeared completely different once the game loaded it, but luckily, with some smart tricks, I was able to adjust the data in-game, despite the data changing after it is loaded.
-EDIT: Before I released the video, I knew there was one more problem with the track, which was minor: The trees around the track weren't loading. But now that has been corrected as well! Also adjusted the reflections of cars to GT3-level. Now, the course is 100% finished and no further edits are required.GT3 vs GT3:C - Car Sound ComparisonMisuka ミスカ2023-07-05 | Here's a video to showcase just a few of the cars with updated sounds. Also, some of these sounds may still change, although these specific sounds I consider final. But a lot of the other cars that weren't shown, may still have changes. Just a proof-of-concept at this point.
Instead of using the original reflection model of the courses which is reflected onto the car, it can be swapped with the main course model. It runs well, but because of limitations, the course model data visualizers also have to be swapped, which means the entire course is rendered twice, causing strong lag. If it was possible to adjust the visualizers to load a smaller section of the track at a time, it could run basically like before.
Because the original reflection model is dark, the reflection strength has to be adjusted to make it look more natural. You can see me swapping the reflection strength in the video, at first to show the effect more, and then after that to show what it'd look like with a more natural strength. To make it run better on PCSX2, I've also reduced the course render distance a bit.Fallout76 - The Easiest Way to Manage RadiationMisuka ミスカ2023-02-01 | A little different type of video for me!
Quite a simple, yet effective trick. It's only tested personally on PS4/PS5, so I don't have information whether it works on Xbox/PC.
My brother discovered this trick already a while back, but because I noticed that no one else has talked of this trick, I thought it might be a good idea to share.
So, in a nutshell: • Equip a Salvaged Assaultron Head. • Charge it up (doesn't matter, how many times.) • Use the melee attack, and during the animation, spam the button to fire the head. • = Easiest rads!
This trick doesn't consume ammo, and neither does it impact the durability of the weapon. Preferably, get yourself a 90% weight reduction one, so it barely has an impact on your carry weight. Or, you know, get armor with all pieces 20% weapon weight reduction!
Hope you found this useful.Gran Turismo 3: Concept - Updated Car Dealership ShowcaseMisuka ミスカ2023-01-27 | Here's a showcase of the current version of the updated car dealership for GT3:C. Things may still change, there's definitely some things I still want to do to it. For example, buyable/prize-only car data will definitely be changed, as that's not final yet. I've had this done for a bit now, but only got around to making a video now. I try to be hasty to showcase everything in the video, not to prolong it. Oh and also, yes, the GT2 Japanese car shop song is in the game!
If you're wondering about the odd textures used, they're there because it's not yet possible to edit in-game textures/create textures properly, so there's a lot of placeholder textures.
I show all the changed content in the video. Changes/updates include the addition of new cars, new dealers, textures, text & font, loading times, and correct car regionalization. (So no fake models!) And also, to be honest, there probably wasn't much of a mystery for a majority of people who thought it was only a simple colour swap, but for anyone who had noticed the extra features of the car, hopefully are satisfied!Gran Turismo 3 Mod: GT2 Menu MusicMisuka ミスカ2022-05-24 | I recently did some research into the menu music data in GT3, which lead me to begin work on converting GT2 menu music data to GT3 format. End result is, it works 99.99%. Only a single instrument didn't play correctly on the East City theme, so I was forced to leave that instrument out. Luckily though, it wasn't an important instrument, and it only plays for a short period in the song. Anyways, enjoy watching me scroll through the menus and showing all the songs.

(April Fools!)Gran Turismo 3 Mod: BMW McLaren F1 GTR 97Misuka ミスカ2022-03-02 | A quick showcase of the BMW McLaren F1 GTR mod I made. Majority of the work for it was made a few months back, but I finally got around to finalizing the cars physics and model data.
The models are from GT4 Prologue, but because GT4P doesn't include eve/night car models, I had to manually hex-edit the car's model and texture data to give it lights and glowing model data, which took a few days. The light VFX data was based on a GT3 car (I think the Lotus Esprit V8 SE), and then edited first by hand, and then later by using GT4 light VFX data to make it more accurate and to fix a couple problems it had before.
It's physics and parts data are somewhat based on the Le Mans racers of GT3, with some custom data in there too to make it accurate to the real thing.
Some of the mods seen in the video are the GTC-version Midfield with added weather effects, 3D Wheels, Turbo sounds, changed exhaust sounds for cars, and maybe some others.
This car will be seen in the upcoming Gran Turismo 3: Concept Overhaul Mod.
One of the reasons I decided to make it, was to have a proof-of-concept of that you can indeed have GT4P cars in GT3, just with enough work.

Also featured on the video is the reverse variation of the unused, but updated Deep Forest from GT Concept. Enjoy!
Also, sadly the rear wing animations on the Crossfire aren't supported on GT3. It might be fixable though, we'll see.
Also, sorry for the lack of content the past couple months. Have had a lot of life stuff to go through, so haven't had time to focus much on Youtube & the project.
-EDIT: I accidentally have put the wrong name for the Alfa Romeo in the video, it's actual name is "147 GTA '02".

I show you a bit of the car exhaust sound mod, which updates many sounds in GT3, while still keeping most cars normal & keeping the GT3 feel alive. I also show the dealership, which now has some new vehicles for sale.

(Mod)Misuka ミスカ2021-02-09 | Here's another GT3 Beta course port, as kindly requested by Jonny (youtube.com/channel/UCC6I6_cefKReB5Qx1m2v51Q) It has the same issues with A.I, but still, it's amazing to experience it in the final game! Also, I did forget to update the replay camera angles, so sorry for the horrible replay camera...Gran Turismo 3: GT2/GT3 Beta Super Speedway Restored! (Mod)Misuka ミスカ2021-02-08 | A quick showcase of a mod I made recently. I managed to make the GT2 style GT3 Beta Super Speedway work in retail GT3. As far as issues go, there's that the A.I driving line is incorrect. I'm not entirely sure how to fix it, but it might be possible to do. There's also an issue with loading some course parts properly, but this can probably be fixed with ease as I can already force it to be loaded properly. If I can fix these, the course would then be fully compatible, and usable in GT3 normally.Gran Turismo 3: Special Stage Route 5 Morning Version Showcase (Mod)Misuka ミスカ2021-02-03 | Here's a little showcase for a modded version of the Special Stage Route 5 in Gran Turismo 3. I have modified it to make the time of day look more like early morning, instead of the night/late evening it's normally set in. It's only a test at this point, but will likely be used in the complete mod for the game.
For the video, I've disabled car brake & light effects, and the course lamp post effects, as they cause an abnormal amount of lag on PCSX2.
PS. Thank you for 120 subscribers & 20K views on the channel! Also sorry for the absence of videos in the past few months.Gran Turismo 3: Two New Tracks Discovered!Misuka ミスカ2020-10-06 | I loaded 2 never before seen tracks, that were unplayable in demo versions of the game. They have some issues obviously, but it's great to be able to play them finally!
I have just recently hit 10K channel views, and also broke 3K views on a single video, big thanks for it!Gran Turismo 3: Action Slowmo Cameras!Misuka ミスカ2020-10-06 | Here's just a quick video to show something I managed to create by manipulating the game's memory. It is not automatic, I have hotkeys that enable/disable the replay camera + slowmotion. One issue is that slowmotion doesn't apply to other A.I cars, but I could probably fix that.GT3 Mod Beta: GT Concept car port showcase!Misuka ミスカ2020-08-22 | Hello there! For some time I've been slowly but surely building a mod for GT3, that updates many things in the game. This showcase here is showing some GTC cars in GT3. The mod does not contain all GTC cars, and the port is possible only due to a recent discovery by me.
Here are some things the mod does at the moment: • Contains all courses from GTC (even hidden unused ones.) Only GTC track that can be accessed without memory editing at the moment is Autumn Ring. • All 3D models (wheels, cars) from GTC, some of which update old GT3 models. • Music from GT3 NTSC-J. • Arcade races possible in Complex String, 2P races possible in Monaco. • Updated aspects of GT Mode (like car prizes, start money, etc.) Car prizes now reward you with hidden unused cars sometimes! • Race start and finish music from GT3 Beta. • GT4 Car exhaust sounds. • Updated some parts of the in-game menus to GTC variants. • Deleted unnecessary, unused files in the game, reducing size. • Finally, added the GT Concept cars. Do note, not all cars work 100%: Some have buggy collision data, and/or buggy gear-ratios, and the Pod car doesn't waggle it's tail, or make cute sounds! But most cars still work completely fine.

I've got a whole library of short stuff, some like this..Tekken 4 - Secret/Unused Yoshimitsu Eye & Sword ColoursMisuka ミスカ2020-06-03 | For some reason, in Tekken 4, Yoshimitsu (and Combot!) have multiple special unused eye effects. They also have many special unused sword effects. Here's a showcase of all eyes I've found, and some swords.Gran Turismo 3 - 3D Race Wheels Mod ShowcaseMisuka ミスカ2020-04-07 | In this video, I show you different cars with 3D wheels. I show them from different angles, and then drive it down the straight so you can see how the wheels look at high speeds.
Normally in GT3, the car wheels are 2D textures. This mod changes them to their showroom variants, which are 3D. This has a nasty downside though, the wheels do not have LOD models, and thus will cause graphical garbage when the game attempts to load them. (Rainbow disc wheels.)
I purposefully left the car audio loud and music quiet, because the car engine and exhaust sounds have been changed as well.
To keep the video short, I had to cut the next cars off from the video, I may do another video on them. These cars also have the mod done on them: • Spoon CIVIC TYPE R (EK) '00 • Mugen S2000 '00 • Toyota ALTEZZA LM Race Car • RUF CTR2 '96 • Toyota GT-ONE Race Car (TS020) '99 • Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car • Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98 • Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car '98 • Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STi Version (Type-I) '00
If you would really like to see some of these cars in action with 3D wheels, I may do another video on this. You can also suggest cars in the comments to showcase.
Mods: • 3D race wheels (demo, only a few cars, only daytime car variant.) • Gran Turismo 4 Car Sounds. • Gran Turismo Concept Car Models and Courses.

Here's a video showing many if not all (probably not all though) Jin's special and secret moves. If you think I missed some, feel free to tell me! Some of these are well known, and some not so known. The double dash is seemingly a found by me, as I couldn't find info on it anywhere. -EDIT 5/10/2020: I forgot one special property of Jin's b+1+2: Time it right with Yoshimitsu's sword attacks, and the swords will just go through you, dealing no damage.
PS. Sorry that the editing and quality aren't top-notch.Tekken 5 - Hidden Stage FoundMisuka ミスカ2020-02-24 | Hello again. I found this stage, which seems to be a cutscene stage. The stage has strange properties to it...
(Sorry about the border on the video, not really sure how it got there :P)Gran Turismo 3 - Autobacs RT Demo All TracksMisuka ミスカ2019-10-28 | This is a video where I showcase you all of the courses that exist in the super rare Autobacs Replay Theater demo. (PAPX-90207) The demo is normally not playable, I used some cheats from this site to make it playable: http://btest4he.com/cheat_code/index.html The track and car changes I do with memory editing.GT2000 - Beta Seattle, seattle2000 version?Misuka ミスカ2019-10-17 | I found this beta Seattle and I think it may be similar to the GT2 Demo "seattle2000" version. Textures look a bit weird at places, during replays and at bumper view cars look strange, and at one point you drive through a building. Otherwise works fine. Also, it seems that GT2K has 2 other beta Seattle tracks that can be loaded but are black and completely missing textures. With a trick I found, I can change the file header from another functioning Seattle track, to make some textures (although corrupted) and fog to appear.Tekken 4: Secret Kazuya Soul Rage moves! Devil Kazuya moves?Misuka ミスカ2019-09-28 | EDIT: It turns out that these moves are just Kazuya's stun link moves. It's still cool nonetheless that you can edit them to be forced on whenever you want.
OLD DESC: I discovered some time ago that in Tekken 4 and Tekken 5 Kazuya will also get special moves like Jin does. I think this may be a leftover from the developers experimenting with adding Devil Kazuya to the game, as these moves are very strong. I assume he'd been an unplayable final boss, similarly to Jinpachi in Tekken 5.GT Sport: Massive SRT Tomahawk Wheelie!Misuka ミスカ2019-09-23 | Just found this by accident. Don't know if it's old news but here you go anyway.Gran Turismo 4 Prius Demo - Hidden Road Found, Pikes Peak in GT4?Misuka ミスカ2019-09-01 | I found a road with no collision in Gran Turismo 4 Prius Demo, and it may be Pikes Peak. Jonny_0093 (youtube.com/channel/UCC6I6_cefKReB5Qx1m2v51Q) at the Gran Turismo Hidden Things Discord looked at it with a model viewer, and it looks like it could be an early concept for Pikes Peak. Considering that GT2 Pikes Peak exists in GT5, I wouldn't be surprised if it was. (I only show a bit of the track, the rest goes so high that you cannot see it, the track is pretty long.) EDIT: After further research, it's shown that this track already exists in Gran Turismo Concept. Not known if it's exactly the same or not, as the one in here is uncompressed.
