The price of a train ticket is 50 THB and the trip duration is about 45 minutes. At Padang Besar is the border between Thailand and Malaysia. The border crossing requires you to leave Thailand and enter Malaysia. To enter Malaysia, all foreigners must submit a Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) which contains personal information and travel information. After crossing the border into Malaysia you will immediately arrive at Padang Besar train station. From Padang Besar train station there are trains available to other destinations in Malaysia like Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
