He's become a bit of a contentious figure in the world of speculative fiction. There were several ways I thought about doing this video, but I decided to get a fan of Lovecraft's, my friend and often partner in crime Jason Fuhrman. We discuss Lovecraft's work, why it's made such an impact, what attracts people to his particular style, and why I personally don't take to Lovecraft's style as fervently as some others do.
