Since then I moved to Houston in October and got a job as an electrical apprentice in March. I can't pinpoint exactly why I stopped editing, but mainly it felt more like a chore than fun. When I heard this song though, it got me back in the mood. I originally wanted to edit the entire song, but now that I got this job, working 6 days a week, I barely have any time to edit. It took me a few weeks just to edit 20 seconds because I've been so tight on time. I definitely missed my 4,000 sub special, but better late than never.I know you guys are going to ask if this means I'm back. DBZ AMV - Distorting Space and Time [What-If] EverybodyLovesDBZ 2015-12-08 | I've been wanting to make a dbz space themed amv for a few years now, and after watching Interstellar, I got an idea to make it with a song from the movie. Space and time are being distorted, which leads to some what-if situations. However, not all is what it seems, so you have to figure out when space and/or time are being distorted. As a hint, there is no space or time distortion after 0:53.Special Thanks to SuperSaiyanProductions for providing me with a link to the dbz episodes in HD. Check his channel out!youtube.com/channel/UCxF7hVmHwIUbO7PeorSNFpQREAD PLOTLINE AFTER WATCHING:We first see Goku, Bulma, Gohan, and Krillin traveling through space to get to Namek. We see that Trunks is traveling in the same direction in his time machine (neither space or time distortion). Goku sees Frieza dying in outer space (in the future), who he doesn't know yet (space and time distortion). Even Bardock (time distortion) and Vegeta (no distortion) are traveling through space. Bulma then sees Goku on top of his spacecraft (space distortion). Bulma, Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta land on Namek and start to deal with Frieza as Goku continues to train in space. As Goku trains, we see Vegeta shooting asteroids in space (time distortion). After Goku arrives, Frieza starts killing everyone in front of him. This turns Goku into a SSJ. Frieza blasts Namek's core, starting the short countdown until the planet blows up. Gohan sees Trunks landing his time machine and leaves Bulma to go see what is going to happen. Trunks slices Frieza in half and Goku blasts Frieza from above. However, they have no time to leave the planet, and yell in anguish as it blows up.Some notes about making this amv:The first shot with Bulma playing the piano was and idea from a first draft of a MEP part from a few months ago, so I decided to make it work in this amv. I wanted to keep the amv purely instrumental, which is why I didn't add any quotes from dbz. I practiced using radial blur in conjunction with linear blur for the zooms. Surprisingly, I just learned about overlays, so I threw a few in for fun. For some of the masks, I practiced using curved lines instead of choppy straight lines (which looks a lot better as I now know). The "real" space shots are from the movie Interstellar, which is where the song is from. DBZ AMV - Cells Mission [What-If] EverybodyLovesDBZ 2015-04-01 | I decided to celebrate this special day (April 1st) with my favorite type of amv to edit...a what-if. I was going to wait until I got 2,000 subs to upload this, but I wouldn't keep an amv from you guys for a reason such as that.I included a quite lengthy plotline for those seeking a more in-depth analysis of the amv, or simply some clarifications.READ PLOTLINE AFTER WATCHING AMV:Gohan comes home and sees his parents have been murdered. He turns around to see Cell. Later, androids 17 and 18 are blowing up a city. The Z fighters join together to fight them. Vegeta arrives first and fights Android 18. Cell looks on from a distance at Android 18 and Vegeta, and continues to travel closer. We find out later that he was actually watching Vegeta, not Android 18. When Trunks sees Android 18 break Vegeta’s arm, he remembers how he lost Future Gohan and how he believes he lost Gohan from this timeline as well. He does not want to lose anyone else, and charges at Android 18. Android 17 sees how easily Android 18 disposed of Vegeta, and steps in to fight the others. Cell looks on to see SSJ Gohan reveal himself to the other Z fighters. Trunks must have told the others he thought Gohan was dead, but now find him alive, well, and stronger! Piccolo is astounded and has the encouragement to continue fighting. However, Android 17 lands a hard blow to Piccolo, knocking him out of the fight. SSJ Gohan sees this and goes SSJ2. The androids turn around in astonishment at SSJ2 Gohan, while at the same time Vegeta is about to explode into a fiery rage of anger. As no one notices, Cell jumps in and starts a Kamehameha. Is he actually targeting Vegeta?! Or does he have some unknown quarrel with Gohan?! Or is he trying to incapacitate the androids so he can absorb them?! His target was Vegeta. Trunks is enraged and charges at Cell. As Trunks is about to land the killing energy blast on Cell, SSJ Gohan jumps in between the blast and Cell to try and save him, but instead dies along with him. Why would Gohan do that?!Later, Trunks and Krillin find Dr. Gero’s basement, as well as a message from Cell. I think most of this part is self-explanatory. When Cell is shown in color, it is symbolic that he does not belong there. After finding out Cell was trying to save Goku and the other Z fighters from the androids and Vegeta respectively, Trunks yells in despair at what he has done.I made many connections between the first and second parts of the amv, so rewatching with the different perspective to see what was actually happening and what Cell, Gohan, and Trunks were thinking will make you feel like a mystery solver. DBZ AMV - Goku Unleashed [What-If] [TIT R2] EverybodyLovesDBZ 2014-07-07 | Here is my submission for The Insane Tour Round 2. This was a lot of fun to make and got me to manipulate footage in new and interesting ways, which is always lots of fun. I tried to make it look like a real trailer, keeping pan/crop and flashy effects to a minimum and focused on timing and development of scenes. I hope you enjoy, or maybe I should say I hope you find this scary (that was the theme)!READ PLOTLINE AFTER WATCHING:Goku and Krillin have mysteriously died. We see operations occurring in a laboratory and Cell's tail breaking open Goku's chamber, where he then walks out. After seeing some characters running, we see Goku scaring the people around him as multiple clones of him spread fear throughout the area. Throughout the trailer, Cell's tail has been attacking people, thus we assume Cell is on the loose and is the one who freed Goku from the laboratory. I'm really happy with how this collab came out, especially that we had to make it have a story line. Then they start to fight each other on Earth, but then later are seen helping each other on Namek. So up to this point there is no real hatred between the two. After Goku's supposed death on Namek, they are now on good terms. We see Goku fighting Cell at the Cell Games and Trunks saying goodbye to his mother before he leaves. At the Cell Games, Goku is distracted by Vegeta arriving, which makes him unable to block Cell's blast which kills Trunks. Vegeta is truly convinced Goku avoided the blast on purpose and takes Goku's only son's life with him as revenge in a rage of desperation for taking his own son's life. Later, a boy named Trunks delivers a message to him and he realizes he is the boy's father, and the boy's mother is Bulma! On an even more shocking note, she demands child support money for his future son because Bulma knows Yamcha will die in a year.
