You probably know about the "Max Steel" brand but, did you know it was originally WB's answer to Fox's "Action Man" series that was airing at the same time?I received this VHS tape along with one of the more deluxe action figures. It features a special intro to the characters of Max Steel as well as "Sphinxes," an episode of the show. Ghostly Thrillers MrBigDub 2016-10-31 | Happy Halloween 2016 everybody! Here are two kid-friendly tales of things that go bump in the night. In "Ghost In The Shed," a peddler is murdered and buried beneath a shed. After his murderers move away, the peddler's ghost tried to communicate to the shed's new owners. In "The Youth Who Wanted To Shiver," a young boy named Jack fears nothing. So, he sets out to learn how to shiver.To my knowledge, this 1991 project has not been put out on DVD. Airwolf: The Complete Series Unboxing MrBigDub 2016-08-01 | On 5-3-2016, Mill Creek Entertainment released "Airwolf: The Complete Series" on DVD and Blu-Ray. This is significant because Universal only put out individual seasons for their DVD's. On 7-27-2016, I picked up the DVD set.The whole trip home I wondered how the heck F.Y.E. could sell a series considered iconic to the 1980's for just $20. Then I opened it and saw how. There are seven cardboard sleeves for all fourteen discs. All housed in a cardboard case. (I wonder how long the packaging will last.) Buy hey, that means we can purchase the series for cheaper than the Universal DVD's which are still fetching a pretty penny on eBay even after the release of this set.

Monica Rial at Almacon 2015 MrBigDub 2015-05-10 | This year the LMC Anime Club went to Almacon up in Alma, Michigan. It it the first convention I have ever been to! This was taken on the second day (2-7-2015) when Funimation voice actor Monica Rial held a panel. Sadly my camera ran out of juice during the Q & A session but, I got her entire speech on the art of voice acting.About the beginning...while we were waiting for her to arrive someone stood up and said to give the classic Japanese bow to her when she comes in. So that's why we all got up and bowed to her at the start.

As usual, I can't say I've seen this on any DVD. This may actually pre-date DVD's now that I think about it. What really sells me on this is that dramatic music in the background. This was taken off a pre-recorded VHS tape (the tape my dad made off the TV was getting a little finicky at this point). Three Stooges Festival (edited) MrBigDub 2014-09-08 | This is from an old tape I owned many years ago. It’s a compilation spanning over 30 years of Stooge hilarity. Some of you die-hard Stooge fans may notice some of the footage presented such as “Jerks Of All Trades.” But, there is also some rarely seen footage as well. The DVD is long out of print, though much of the content can be seen in their entirety in “The Three Stooges: The Essential Collection” DVD set. Enjoy! Note: I have had to re-upload this with the "Disorder In The Court" segment removed as it was flagged by Sony. I thought that short was public domain but I guess it no longer is.
