Lucas98102 First test of The Nuker 4 Audio in SSW. This is an unfinal MIDI, and I was just testing to see if it would load and what the process would be like. SSW supports a max of 500BPM, so the MIDI was slowed down 8x because some parts of it are 2088BPM. Domino messed up while I was merging tracks together and about 1,000,000 notes are missing.

Rip on the first crash, it seems like raptor lake-H does not fare well on tau's first crash. Desktop raptor lake (5.8GHz 13700K), youtu.be/4Akmo3-nGL4 is almost 2 seconds ahead of this run and desktop Zen 4 (5.5GHz 7950X), youtu.be/b9Kgbty37Gc is a full second ahead. On the final crash, it fares beter, but still loses by over 2 seconds to the 13700K.

[Black MIDI] Core i9 13900H vs 9KX2

Performance lives up to the name! These are some of the fastest times ever recorded on this MIDI. The first crash is just 0.1 seconds behind a 5.8GHz 13700K, youtu.be/qDsbf8W_Qtk but the second crash falls behind a bit. However, it manages to beat the 13700K by over a second (!) and becomes the fastest ever final crash pass on an intel chip, but still massively loses to a 5.5GHz 7950X, youtu.be/BhmIn7MJy6c which seems to hold a massive architectural advantage over any intel chip. However, the ryzen does not quite stack up to the 13700K on the first 2 crashes.

[Black MIDI] Core i9 13900H vs Two Faced Lovers 19.4 Million

Insanely fast on most of the crashes, easily outpacing pretty much everything (even desktop ryzen 7000!) except for 13th gen desktop. However, the X crash continues to be a weak spot for intel, with even a 5.8GHz 13700K ( youtu.be/mlsZuFNQGm8 ) pulling a 3:08.3, just 0.1 second faster than this 13900H. Meanwhile, a 5.5GHz 7950X ( youtu.be/bO_D2YnSzAY ) easily pulls a 3:06.4. My 5.0GHz Ryzen 9 5900X can even beat it on the X crash! The likely reason for this is that Ryzen clocks the L3 cache at the same speed as the cores, while intel clocks the L3 cache lower (around 4700mhz is the highest I have seen on mine).

[Black MIDI] 4.0GHz Core 2 Extreme QX9300 vs Tau

This is a video I never thought I would make... I ordered a Mobile Core 2 Extreme X9100 Dual Core on Ebay for around $30, and I received a Mobile Quad Core QX9300, a $100, sought-after CPU! I call that a deal. Since this CPU has an unlocked multipler, I was able to overclock it using TechPowerUp ThrottleStop, and the result is the 3rd highest validation frequency ever reached with the QX9300, 4.25594GHz! https://valid.x86.fr/lh1uf0

Unfortunately, this laptop both underperforms and has weird issues with PFA. It performs on par with a 3.7GHz Q9450 (Basically same CPU but on a desktop platform), and the PFA application glitches and lags horribly on this laptop. It does not affect performance, and has persisted throughout RAM, GPU, SSD, and CPU upgrades. Oh well, I will just have to work around it.
