Bob Gymlan I met with a witness to bigfoot in the spring of 2019. Nothing could have prepared me for the story I heard. I have been struggling with this video for literally years, but I figured it's time to just do it one way or the other.

Fayette County Bigfoot Photo and what it means for the Patterson Footage

Bob Gymlan 2022-11-24 | This video is about a photo that was taken in October of 2019. Billy and Sheena's property has a history of sightings, and a skeptic became a believer the afternoon that the photo was taken. Obviously, we all wish the photo was better but I think we're getting there! If wishes were fishes, we'd all be in the ocean.

I get into the Patterson Film in this video, which I hadn't really been expecting, but I definitely think it's worth a consideration.

Bigfoot News! The Mogollon Monster Photo Breakdown

Bob Gymlan 2022-10-23 | This video is about a photo of an alleged bigfoot, taken in Arizona. Creatures of this description are known in the region as Mogollon Monsters--named after some infamous reports from the Mogollon Rim.

There are two competing origin stories for this photo--which I will expand upon in the video.

This is good chunk of my interview with Randy, the Founder of Midwest Bigfoot Researchers. In 1977, when he was ten years old, Randy had an incredible encounter with a juvenile sasquatch. The ensuing events inspired a life long search for these magnificent creatures.

I'm still not really sure what to make of this saga, as is the case with most of the topics I cover, but fortunately, I recorded our discussions so that you can judge for yourself.

Against my better judgement, I decided not to edit the interview down to the 'good parts.' Whenever I watch an interview that is highly edited, I always wish they would've let it alone. That's why it is in it's unabridged form. Plus, I think it's important to get the whole story and see what Randy is like.

One note on the technical end, the microphone I had on Randy made the squeaking of his chair sound like the bugels of the undead elk, so I only used the audio from my microphone and therefore, I isolate his audio, so you hear all of my little contributions. Sorry about that.

The First Photo of Bigfoot and the Origin of the Great Bigfoot Cover Up

Bob Gymlan 2022-04-03 | This photo was taken in 1894, over a century ago. It was taken in British Columbia. It was first revealed in the late 1970s. Many mysterious photos float around the internet and 99% of them are bunk. This one is not.

Perhaps more important than the photograph itself, is what is written on the back. Because it indicates what has long been suspected. This photo, quite simply put, is one of many topics in the field Bigfoot that is rarely discussed, but just may be the real deal.

Unsettling Bigfoot Activity in Georgia Fan Illustrated

Bigfoot: Photographic Evidence and Environmental Awareness

Bob Gymlan 2021-12-12 | While my Illustrator and I work on a massive project, I had to dip into the vaults to put something together in the interim. This video is about the odds of capturing quality photographic evidence of bigfoot, and a little narrative about environmental awareness.

The photo part is to illustrate why documenting an encounter may not be as easy as many would suggest. And the narrative is about environmental awareness, and gives insight into the capacity of thought that you and I (and perhaps something else entirely) are capable of.

I'm not in love with this video. Usually I only post videos if I'm more fond of them than I am of this one, but seeing as I'm knee deep in a many-moons project, I figured something is better than nothing. I hope you get something out of it!

The FULL Story of the Monster at Enfield

Bob Gymlan 2021-08-22 | The saga of what has come to be known as the Enfield Monster, or Horror, took place in Enfield Illinois, in 1973. Like many of the musty corridors of Fortean lore, this particular flap leaves more questions than answers, and the explanations range from the likely, to the impossible.

If nothing else, this tale goes to show that sometimes, the accepted explanations are just as perplexing as the alternative.

We'll never know what happened here, but the events of Illinois in 73 are an essential piece of Americana's cryptid-lore.

Audio of a Bigfoot Encounter from 1977

Bob Gymlan 2021-08-01 | I recently spoke with a bigfoot witness whose grandma also had a bigfoot sighting, in 1977. My contact was kind enough to briefly record her using his phone. The following is that recording.

In about an hour I’ll be upload the full video which goes into greater detail, but I thought this little clip would be worthwhile as a standalone video. Of course, statistically speaking, it will be uploaded by the time you’re reading this.

Most incidents of this nature are never reported. Period. And as I often opine, if just one of these innumerable incidents actually happened, then our understanding of everything is incorrect.

UFO Report From Mosinee Wisconsin, 1969, Taken by J. Allen Hynek Police Report Included.

Bob Gymlan 2021-06-27 | This video is about an alleged UFO (or flying saucer) report that occurred in May in of 1969, in Mosinee Wisconsin. Many factors go into this report, and the event's interpretation has as much to do with your nature as it does with the event itself.

The report was conducted by (then not-so-famous) J. Allen Hynek, and compiled by Ufologist Robert Mercer. Link to the original document below.

I was working on this video when four UFO photos were taken in Montello Wisconsin. So this video sort of compliments my prior video (or the other way around.)

Incredible—NEW—UFO Photos from Wisconsin—June, 2021

Bob Gymlan 2021-06-20 | I found some incredible photos of what is definitionally, a UFO. They were taken on June 13, 2021 in Montello, Wisconsin. They were captured by a fellow youtuber (channel called HomeSteadHow.) I'll put a link below.

The images are particularly interesting to me because I live pretty near to where the photos were taken, and I have also witnessed some fairly unusual phenomena in the sky, and I'm grateful someone captured them on camera.

In this video, I go over the circumstance of the photos, the photos themselves, and I elaborate a little bit about myself. This video was 'impromptu' for me. I didn't really outline or write up my talking points, so I hope you all enjoy that style.

The Monster of Lake Tota

Bob Gymlan 2021-05-30 | This video is about a creature that allegedly inhabits the largest lake in Colombia, Lake Tota. I'm skeptical of lake monster claims, but the creature's origin, mythology, history, and context is certainly fascinating.

A few notes.
#1. I watched three docs on the Muisca, every expert pronounced it differently: Moose-ee-kuh, Mew-Skuh, Music-huh. I couldn’t find a single British expert saying it out loud, so I can’t be certain which is correct. (that was a joke, but damn do they have credibility with pronunciation)

#2. I spent all night cobbling this together. I’m not certain if the video at 1:22 is intentional or not… It seems like an accident, but it kind of makes sense. So…

The FULL Story of Spring Heeled Jack and The Hammersmith Ghost

Bob Gymlan 2021-05-09 | This video is about two, what I think is fair to call, "Humanoid Cryptids." They are the legendary Spring Heeled Jack, and the lesser known Hammersmith Ghost. The accounts in this video took place between 1803 and 1879.

Both of these entities offer folkloric and cultural implications, and have rooted themselves in our understanding of the Victorian Era. However, some aspects of their description seem to be inconsistent with their time. Which is interesting.

These legendary entities may be just that: Legends. However, a technical analysis of the descriptions paints a picture that may indicate something else. People were reporting concepts that did not exist, yet.

Anyway, as often happens, this video just kind of kept going, and may ramble a bit at times. I hope you enjoy it regardless.

The Chupacabra, the Vampire of Moca, and the Modern-Day Nightmare of GMAs.

Bob Gymlan 2021-03-25 | This video is about the modern-day cryptid known as the Chupacabra. Which dates back as recently as 1995. The story becomes a bit more compelling when taking into account similiar reports twenty years earlier; reports of the Vampire of Moca. In this video, I discuss the reports, origin, theories, and implications of the alleged island-dwelling cryptid.

Whether or not the creature stalked the pastures of Puerto Rico, there is much to be said regarding the precedent for such a creature. And if the creature resulted from manufacture, the real question becomes--Why?

The creatures have been called "aliens," "goblins," and "little green men." This event remains one of the most famous and disputed events in American Folk Lore.
This is one of the many situations wherein the attempts to discount the incident are even more absurd than the incident itself.

The Shipton Yeti Prints and why theyre Probably Real

Bob Gymlan 2020-06-21 | This video is about some unusual tracks photographed and documented by mountaineer and explorer Eric Shipton in 1951 on his quest to reach the yet untouched summit of Mount Everest. Critics say they are simply tracks left behind by a common animal that have been dramatically taken out of proportion. But Shipton wasn't so certain. And his Sherpa guides certainly had their own opinions.
This video contains some classic cryptid lore, as well as some good old fashioned drama from two of the most prolific mountaineers of the last century. What could be better?
The fact remains that these tracks have never been understood, and I certainly think they're worth some scrutiny. Are they some of the best evidence to date? Or are they rabbit tracks?

Bob Gymlan 2020-05-10 | This is a true story about a curse that was cast in the 1947. The man was Jake Bird. It is a lesser known tale of the paranormal world. My initial plan was to upload this last Halloween, but I disliked it so much that I decided against it. But now, since we're all bored out of our wits, I figured a video is better than no video. Ex-Cryptids and the FULL saga of the Bili Ape

The very real creatures are the Coelacanth , the Giant Squid, and the Bili Ape. All three creatures have unique properties that helped them develop a mythology of their own. Of particular note, is the Bili Ape, so much has been said about them, and I hope this video solidifies the long and drawn saga. They are fascinating, but not for the reasons that many people may think.

A Christmas Horror Story

I made a video to try and capture the Christmas spirit, while remaining on theme.
This is my first video that is purely fiction. It is not based on any actual event or anyone I've spoken with. I wrote the bare bones of it a very long time ago. Back in the good old days when I wrote like no one was listening.
The point was to include as many factors and motifs that truly capture-- horror. Sometimes, creatures (imagined or otherwise) can't compare to the every day turmoil.
As a note if you're interested; I originally wrote the part of Jess as a male, and Zack as female. But I saved myself a headache by changing it. Saying "he" and "she" proved more efficient than "the younger," "the older," "father," "son," etc.

The FULL Story of the Man-Eating Lions of Tsavo

Bob Gymlan 2019-09-24 | This is my retelling of one of the most fascinating wildlife conflicts in history. The Lions of Tsavo. I know it is a little off topic from what I normally do, but it's been one of my favorite verified historical accounts for years now. Plus with my Illustrator, (Fred Dunn of DreadFun) I couldn't help myself. Though I'm first to admit, this video spiraled out of control a bit. I wish I had more time to spend on editing and reviewing, but I simply cannot dedicate any more time to this, as I have an exciting October fast approaching.

People have grown skeptical of J.H. Patterson's account, but I try to prove that his numbers and retelling of events is more conservative than you may think.
A few additional notes, I'm already preparing for people to tell me "that's not how it happened!" but please note, all the information regarding the narrative comes from Patterson's autobiography of the events. Therefore, if something doesn't match up to what you have seen (from Hollywood,) please understand that I'm not wrong, I utilized only the first hand account.
I also used Patterson's words for things now called other things. For example, Tsavo River is no longer called that. And we know lions don't have "tusks" but that's what Patterson calls the lion's teeth.

Another note, this is realistic, and educational. Conflicts happen. And resolution must come one way or another.

Two campers found the incident a lot to take in, so they called the authorities. No charges were filed, and it makes you wonder why.
