It was so cold filming this – it was already quite cold and raining at that, and this is an outdoor pool (hence the gorgeous light). Still in my (unaltered) FinFolk Shipwreck Siren tail! Real-Life Mermaid with Long Red Hair, Shipwreck Siren Finfolk Tail | Stella the Siren Stella the Siren 2019-09-29 | First time wearing my new wig underwater! What do you prefer, the wig or my natural hair? AND the first time wearing my FinFolk Shipwreck Siren tail in deeper waters. It really does swim like a dream, it's so much easier than swimming in my own mermaid tails.This was at the monthly Mermaid Sunday meeting at TODI, an indoor diving centre in Belgium. That wig was absolute hell to comb through by the way. But it was worth it, I think it looks spectacular underwater. First Swim in my DIY Silicone Mermaid Tail - Sink or Swim? Stella the Siren 2019-09-07 | Two years ago, I started to work on a silicone mermaid tail. Six months ago, it was 'swimmable'. I only now got up the courage to try it out...I have since tried to paint it but I think it's been too long between casting and painting as the silicone paint doesn't adhere properly :( Oh well, it's a nice tail anyway and for a first time, I'm pretty happy with the results. For a DIY silicone mermaid tail, I think it fits quite well. There's some gapping but I'd be swimming in it with a belt (I forgot my belt this time). This tail would never have existed if it weren't for Lizah, who helped me work on it when I'd lost hope.Many thanks to Rutger for filming this on my mobile phone. I then sealed the shells with resin and attached them to my mermaid belt. It's heavy but it helps a LOT, even if it's only about 1 kg of lead. Arabian Underwater Dance | Fire on the waves Stella the Siren 2018-08-02 | Bathed in vast aquamarine, wrapped in fiery shrouds... A dance between two elements. I want to talk to you about something. Today is Earth Overshoot Day - from this day until the end of the year, we're draining the Earth more than it can take. Sitting around and feeling depressed all day isn't fun for anyone, though. So what can we do today to make a small difference? 😊 Let's see. 1. Going grocery shopping? When you're almost finished, take out two items that are wrapped in plastic and choose an alternative that's not plastic wrapped.2. Set a timer and shower in under 3 minutes. You can do it!3. Try looking online for a lovely vegetarian or vegan meal to cook tonight. Incidentally, I had noodles in peanutbutter and soy sauce with roasted broccoli yesterday and it was delicious. Boyfriend asked me what he should call this dish, since he wants me to cook it again. (DM me for the recipe). Need inspiration? My friend @veganfreek had some seriously yummy recipes. 4. Get a second trash can for plastic and put it next to the normal one. Make it easy for yourself to do the right thing. 5. Take some time to go through your closet. Pick an item of clothing you haven't worn in at least a year. Then build a stylish outfit around it. Find joy in something you have, instead of something you must purchase first! :)6. Put a reusable cup in your bag. 7. Don't switch on the heat or the air conditioning. Look outside, dress for the weather and bring a plan B (since there's no planet B). 5. I have owned the TomNose for years now and it is an incredible invention. My mersister Violet didn't have one yet, and since she's been accompanying me on my mermaid gigs more and more, we decided to have them made for her, as well. Tom, the inventor of the TomNose, in an incredibly inspiring person with unbelievable dedication. In this video, you will see how the TomNose is made and how it works. Mr. Tom has all the customers he can handle. This is why his name and email address are not mentioned in this video. He does not have a website or an official company. He's just a man who thought of something very clever - and studied ENT-surgery to be able to solve a worldwide problem swimmers have been having for years.

I could if my Waterway monofin would fit into it, but unfortunately, it doesn't, making it basically impossible to swim in. I made the tail myself and happened upon the bikini top at a local store. This way, I can have multiple tails without having to buy a monofin for every single one of them. When you're swimming, the fabric will automatically cover the monofin, so don't worry about that.'What monofin do you use in this tutorial?' In this tutorial, you're seeing a Waterway monofin. That doesn't mean you need one. A Finis Wave is fine for most tails!

A young lady takes poison and throws herself in the ocean, then turns into a mermaid. The "blood" is just a big gulp of seawater mixed with some red food colouring, don't worry. The mermaid tail was designed and created by me, Stella the Siren, and inspired by a goldfish or a koi fish. It is made from orange lycra and black, white and orange organza flukes.
