Measure Up (Lore Mario Mix) but its playable Blantados 2023-03-04 | Measure Up (Lore Mario Mix) but it's playableHey there! I made a mod for Measure Up because I love the song and its concept! It's just the one song and it will be compatible with both BETADCIU and Psych Engine, so you don't have to worry about downloading BETADCIU Engine to play it. The only things I didn't showcase here are the miss sprites and the game over screen, so I guess you'll have to download the mod to see those. If anyone who worked on Measure Up wants me to take down the mod/video, just ask and I will take them down. I've actually been working on this for a while now. Really loved this mod so I was surprised to see very few covers/BETADCIUs of Forces. When I started making this, I only saw 1 other Forces BETADCIU, but now there's a lot more of em. This really took me a while as I was really trying to look for ways to make the transitions even better than the last BETADCIU and just generally make the BETADCIU better than my previous ones. I think I did a pretty good job with the transitions here and I'm pretty sure this is also the first time I've added motifs to a BETADCIU. I've done it for other covers in the past, but I don't think I've ever added motifs to a BETADCIU before. I really liked the Roastin' on a Cartoon Cartoon Friday mod so I decided to take a go at remixing Roasted. The characters I chose to use are completely random. Or well... not really random since I wanted to test out some chromatics I made (and sprites I made for Kaguya) + I just really wanted to include Tioda in a song (I really like the mod). I was thinking of using the original characters but it didn't really sound quite right so I just stuck with these characters. This was also supposed to be a BETADCIU but it also didn't sound right so that didn't happen either.As for the BETADCIU Update, plans have changed. I've modified the mod to be able to take Psych mods as well (y'know like the entire mods folder and whatnot) and I will be releasing the updates as packs instead so that you no longer have to download nearly 3 GB every time you wanna update the mod. So I decided to remake my Aloe chromatic scale since I don't even remember where I got the original samples from. This time I used the more synthy voice that she usually has when singing so it may sound different from what you're all used to. I was originally just going to make a cover to show off the new chromatic but I ended up making a custom song with Majin (Picked him since I was already using the Genesis Soundfont so picking him just fit more with the theme). Now I will be using this chromatic over the old one since the new one sounds a lot cleaner unless most of you agree that you like the old one better. Also just remember this is just my version of an Aloe chromatic since Holofunk currently doesn't have one.
