I Am A Pizza. A classic chant about the food we all love! Sing with us.

In this powerful short film by Kodak, we journey to a special sanctuary dedicated to providing retired sport horses with the dignified and loving retirement they deserve. These incredible animals, often seen as "equipment" in the high-stakes world of competition, are given a safe haven to heal, express their personalities, and rediscover trust.
This is more than a commercial; it's a story of empathy, connection, and the profound bond between humans and animals.
This video is perfect for:
English Language Learners: Practice your listening with clear, narrated English and full subtitles.
Animal Lovers & Equestrians: A heartfelt look at the importance of animal welfare.
Anyone seeking inspiration: A beautiful reminder of the power of compassion and second chances.
Teachers & Students: A great resource to spark meaningful classroom discussions.
Discussion Questions for Students:
Why is the idea of a "second life" so powerful for both the horses and the sanctuary founder?
The video says sport horses are often treated as "equipment." What does this metaphor reveal, and why is it problematic?
How does the sanctuary help rebuild trust between humans and horses?
In your opinion, do we have a responsibility to care for animals after they are no longer "useful" to us? Why or why?
Can you think of other examples, with people or animals, where a "second chance" made a big difference?
We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. What does this story inspire in you?
Video Features:
✅ Authentic, real-world English
✅ Clear English Subtitles (CC)
✅ Stunning cinematography by Kodak
✅ An inspiring and emotional narrative

In this piece from The Garden of the Prophet, Gibran holds up a mirror to society, outlining the traits of a nation in moral and spiritual decline. Written nearly a century ago, the poem's stark warnings about blind nationalism, hollow patriotism, and the loss of self-reliance feel strikingly relevant in our modern world.
In This Video, You Will:
Read along with the full text of the poem.
Listen to a clear, dramatic narration designed for reflection.
View thoughtfully curated illustrations that complement the poem's somber tone.
About the Poem: "Pity The Nation"
"Pity The Nation" is a searing critique of a society that has lost its way. Gibran uses the repetitive, lamenting structure of "Pity the nation..." to list the symptoms of a people who have surrendered their autonomy, critical thinking, and spiritual integrity.
The poem describes a nation that is:
Unproductive and dependent, consuming what it does not create.
Militaristic and misguided, worshipping conquerors and bullies.
Politically immature, cycling through rulers without true change.
Intellectually and morally bankrupt, led by cunning politicians and silent sages.
Divided and fragmented, losing sight of its collective unity.
It is not a pity of condescension, but a pity of profound sorrow and a call to awareness—a plea for a nation to awaken to its own potential and integrity.
About the Author: Kahlil Gibran
Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931) was a Lebanese-American writer, poet, visual artist, and philosopher. He is best known as the author of "The Prophet," one of the best-selling books of all time, translated into over 100 languages.
Born in Lebanon, Gibran immigrated to the United States with his family as a child. His work is characterized by its spiritual, mystical, and philosophical themes, often exploring the relationship between humanity, love, freedom, and nature. Drawing on his own experiences in the Middle East and the West, his writing transcends cultural and religious boundaries, offering universal insights into the human condition. "Pity The Nation" comes from The Garden of the Prophet, a sequel to his most famous work, published posthumously.

This is a visual and auditory celebration of Charles Bukowski's profoundly empowering poem, "The Laughing Heart." In a world that often tries to club us into "dank submission," Bukowski's words serve as a raw, resilient, and timeless reminder that your life belongs to you.
This video features a soulful narration set against a backdrop of beautiful, evocative imagery designed to amplify the poem's powerful message of hope, defiance, and self-discovery. With clear subtitles to follow every word, it's an ideal resource for teachers to introduce students to the power of poetry and spark meaningful conversation about life's big questions.
Let this be your reminder to beat death in life, today.
Discussion Questions for the Classroom:
What does Bukowski mean by not letting your life be "clubbed into dank submission"? What are the modern "clubs" that can suppress a person's spirit?
The poem talks about a light that "may not be much light but it beats the darkness." What could this "light" represent in a person's life?
Bukowski writes, "the gods will offer you chances." How can we learn to recognize these "chances" in our own lives?
What is the difference between beating death and "beat[ing] death in life," as the poem suggests?
The final lines state, "you are marvelous / the gods wait to delight / in you." How does this conclusion make you feel? Does it change the way you view the poem's earlier, grittier advice?

About Charles Bukowski:
Charles Bukowski (1920-1994) was a German-American poet, novelist, and short story writer. Famous for his gritty, raw, and unflinching writing style, Bukowski became a legendary voice of the American underworld. Drawing from his own experiences with poverty, dead-end jobs, and alcoholism, his work chronicles the lives of the downtrodden and the forgotten on the margins of society. Despite the often bleak subject matter, his writing—like "The Laughing Heart"—is frequently underpinned by a stubborn, resilient hope and a celebration of the human spirit's ability to endure and find moments of grace and triumph.

Discussion.
Do you agree with Rogan's central thesis that we "have it soft" compared to previous generations? Why or why not?
What are the potential dangers of a society that becomes too comfortable and detached from hardship?
Rogan mentions the cycle of "Hard times - Strong men - Easy times - Weak men." Do you see evidence of this cycle in history or in today's world? Is this an inevitable pattern?
How can we appreciate our modern safety and comfort while still maintaining personal strength and resilience?
Does focusing on the problems and injustices in our society, as Rogan suggests, prevent us from seeing the overall progress we've made?
Joe Rogan Bio:
Joe Rogan is a renowned American podcaster, UFC commentator, comedian, and actor. He is the host of "The Joe Rogan Experience," one of the most popular podcasts in the world, known for its long-form, free-flowing conversations with a wide array of guests, including scientists, philosophers, comedians, athletes, and experts of all kinds. Rogan is famous for his thoughtful, often provocative commentary on society, health, fitness, and the human condition.

Have you ever felt left out or different like Margot?
