Warzone Mobile Was The BEST The Game Thing 2026-08-27 | Warzone Mobile Was The BESTTO BE CLEAR. This Call of Dury Warzone Mobile gameplay and all of my uploaded WZM gameplay since the end of April 2026 is old gameplay, obviously, because WMZ no longer exists 🤣 However, all this gameplay was recorded during the last two weeks before the WZM servers were switched off.If you were never a fan of WZM, fair enough, we all have our favourites or maybe you never had the chance to experience WZM. These gameplay uploads are primarily just for me to have somewhere to watch them, because I am missing this game so bad. However, hopefully these uploads will be a nice little bit of nostalgia for others like myself, who have great memories of the game and miss it too.For all this gameplay it would have been either the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra or the Redmagic 10 Pro. I didn't get around to using my iPad Pro M4 during the last couple of weeks, so don't have any footage from that. This RTX 5080 AV1 4K 60FPS Game Capture Was Edited On A MacBook Neo Using DaVinci Resolve Free The Game Thing 2026-05-29 | This is 4K 60FPS AV1 game capture from an Nvidia RTX 5080 graphics card GPU playing Cyberpunk 2077 using the Nvidia capture app. The footage was edited on a MacBook Neo using the free version of DaVinci Resolve to show how well the Neo can handle the AV1 video codec.It's worth noting that my M1 Mac mini could not edit this footage and neither will an M1 MacBook Air, or any base M1 Mac. This is because they do not have the AV1 hardware decoder, which the A18 Pro processor inside the MacBook Neo has. In fact, the M2 processor also does not have the ability to hardware decode AV1. You will be able to edit AV1 on a higher end M1 or M2 Mac, but you will be relying on brute force CPU processing power to decode the AV1 codec and not hardware assisted decoding.The final edit was exported using the H.256 hardware encoder at a bitrate of 200Mbps. Testing Bazzite SteamOS & Assetto Corsa Rally on Low End Gaming PC Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti Intel i7-7700 The Game Thing 2026-01-26 | Will Bazzite SteamOS work on a low end gaming PC with an old Nvidia GPU graphic card? This is a test of Assetto Corsa Rally using an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti, Intel i7-7700 and 16GB DDR4 RAM. The gameplay is terrible 🤣 but this is just a graphics test and a test for compatibility.§Here's another test of Assetto Corsa Rally on the same low end gaming PC but using Windows 11:youtu.be/qW98pJWTm1kI'm using the very low graphics quality preset and testing the game in 1080P and 720P. I'm also using an Xbox Series X controller.I forgot to see if the FPS counter works in Steam on Bazzite like it does on Windows, although I suspect that it does. If I do any other Bazzite Steam OS tests I will make sure to see if the FPS counter is available.I also have a couple of other gaming setups with the Nvidia RTX 5070 and RTX 4070, both with Intel CPUs. I will try to do some more tests with those. I run the test twice, one on 2133MHz CL15 DDR4 RAM and the other on 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 RAM. And as you can see, other than slightly better FPS lows when the benchmark is stressing, there really isn't much difference between them for the average/peak frame rate. Yes, the 3200MHz RAM has a slight edge but is it really noticeable within the playback of the benchmarks?Maybe the takeaway from this test is that if you are finding it difficult putting together a gaming PC due to the insane prices of DDR5 RAM and DDR4 seems to be following a similar trend. Maybe it's just best to get whatever speed RAM you can afford and not worry too much about "what if" you'd have the bought the faster and more expensive RAM.From my own personal experience of playing a few different games on this system, the difference between the two sets of RAM wasn't really noticeable, and these were fast paced shooters. For slower paced games, I'm quite sure that there won't be any perceived difference in performance. This test was done using a GTX 1050 Ti, which was totally maxed out, and an i3 14100F CPU that was running just under 50% load. Now while some may argue that such a test should be done on a more powerful GPU and where the CPU is being more stressed. The simple truth is that most gamers are using similar budget or mid-tear setups where the GPU will mostly be being maxed out. So this is more representative of what most PC gamers will be using, as most aren't using an RTX 5090 paired with a 9800X3D.

This is why I had not realised that you need to do a cloud save of your latest game progress on the PS5, which then becomes available for cross progression on the Windows gaming PC and then both will share the same "cloud" game saves.In case it was not clear in the video. I had to create a CD Projekt Red platform web account first. It is then this account and your email used for the account that gets used to synchronise the different platforms to the account.As I had not had to do this for the PS5, only the PC, my assumption is that the PS5 already had access to that account and was already authenticated and the preferred platform for that account. In any event, as you can see in the video, the whole process works and I'm now able to utilise cross progression between my PS5 and Windows gaming PC. Warzone Verdansk PS5 Pro 4K 120FPS Gameplay Graphics Quality Test (Elgato 4K X OBS MacBook Pro) The Game Thing 2025-04-20 | This is a test of Warzone on the Sony PS5 Pro on the Verdansk Battle Royale map. The test is to specifically to gauge the graphics quality of the PS5 when in 4K 120FPS to see how much drop in graphics quality there is when in 120FPS.Here's the workflow for the recording:The PS5 Pro was connected to my M4 Max MacBook Pro using an Elgato 4K X capture card, or more specifically a UVC capture interface.The HDMI input of the Elgato 4K X was recorded at 4K/UHD 60FPS using OBS and the 4K/UHD 120FPS signal was passed through to my monitor (Samsung Odyssey G8 G81SF).At 4K 60FPS recording the Elgato 4K X is supposed to use NV12 as its video transport stream into the host (OBS). However, it uses MJPEG regardless of what the OBS settings are saying. I have done a video about this problem on my main channel:youtu.be/vZJBcG3f1PA?si=jH8bo1vxzlA3ll8CThe OBS recording used the ProRes 422 HQ codec. Now while ProRes 422 HQ is a 10 Bit codec that uses 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, because the source input is via the Elgato 4K X, it is only 8 Bit with a 4:2:0 chrome subsampling. While I don't gain any extra bit depth or chrome subsampling using ProRes 422 HQ, as the codec is only encapsulating the original 8 Bit 4:2:0 signal via the Elgato 4K X. Using ProRes 422 HQ gives me a very high quality recording at a high bitrate with very low compression. The benefit of doing this type of recording is that subsequent transcodes, re-compression of the video capture, to a more compressed codec for the upload, will result in a high quality video upload master to YouTube.The 4K/UHD 60FPS ProRes 422 HQ video capture was edited in DaVinci Resolve Studio. You could also use the free version of DaVinci Resolve for this. The Resolve project was set to 4K/UHD 60FPS to match the resolution and frame rate of the ProRes 422 HQ video capture.The export from Resolve used the Apple H.265 hardware codec at 10 Bit 4:2:0 4K/UHD 60FPS. This was set to its slowest speed (switching off "Optimise For Speed") using 200,000Kb/s for the bitrate on a single pass. The audio was encoded using "Linear PCM" (uncompressed). This output master was then uploaded to YouTube.Notes about this workflow:While it's disappointing that the Elgato 4K X does not use NV12, as it's supposed to at 4K/UHD 60FPS. Which would have meant that the video transport stream would have been 8 Bit 4:2:0 in an intra-frame format, as opposed to 8 Bit 4:2:0 using MJPEG, which is inter-frame. The video input stream is still of good quality using MJPEG.Although my workflow is using 10 Bit even though the source is only 8 Bit. My output encode is 10 Bit as my usual output masters would be 10 Bit (with varying chroma subsampling depending on the source). For the master output file, 8 Bit would have given the same quality results in this scenario as YouTube ultimately re-encodes (transcodes) everything that's SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) to 8 Bit 4:2:0 anyway.Here's a couple of videos to show that there is no difference between 10 Bit 4:2:2 and 8 Bit 4:2:0 SDR once YouTube has re-encoded the video to it's 8 Bit 4:2:0 output streams:youtu.be/qb87hijiY94?si=0tqcM6XTU93cNCsdyoutu.be/UMQWSgEmPBM?si=nrA-YoIukbs7iPQ1Final conclusion:While the best possible workflow would be to record, edit and upload in 10 Bit 4:2:2. This would be extremely impractical as the files would be massive and too big to upload to YouTube at 4K/UHD 60FPS for 20 minutes of content. Warzone Mobile META SMG The Game Thing 2025-02-19 | In Warzone Mobile the SAUG SCRATCH ONE is my META SMG at the moment. With its rapid fire and fast handling it's perfect for fast close combat and allows you to totally demolish your opponents. It's ideal suited to players who like to play fast and is especially suited to good touch players.This Warzone Mobile gameplay was with my 12GB REDMAGIC 10 Pro Android gaming phone in Diablo mode. See the details below for my setup.I've added an 80% boost to the shadows for my YouTube upload, as the game is very dark.MY GAMING SETUPS:I basically use my phones and iPads like desktop gaming consoles. They all have docks for HDMI output, ethernet for internet etc. I use my phones with a phone tripod mount connected to a mini desktop tripod and I use a table stand for my iPads. I also use cooling for the phones and a small fan for the iPads. And of course, I play with a controller, either PS5 or Xbox.Although my most powerful device is the M4 iPad Pro, I mostly game with the Redmagic 10 Pro as its desktop gaming mode is just awesome and it does feel like a console in that mode.Amazon sometimes mess up the international product links. I edit with DaVinci Resolve Studio on my M4 Max MacBook Pro, then export a high bitrate H.265 4K 60FPS output, which is what I upload to YouTube. I sometimes record with OBS with a HDMI capture card. However, I’ve sill not found a reliable 4K 60FPS USB-C UVC video capture interface for Mac, so don’t do much OBS capturing.
