We, the People were warned that We would face jail time, fines and be charged with "entering a disaster area" if we went swimming in the ocean or were caught enjoying a gift from God. I called to the frightened crowd hiding behind the police tape to join me, so together we could stop our local government from committing a theft of biblical proportions. No one joined me.

This is a few hours after I was standing on a public beach in California. OFFICER BOUCHER also stole my only means of protection - a can of mace/bear spray. When he says "confiscated" he means "stole". I was charged with "selling and possession of a tear gas weapon and tear gas activity". For all those in California: THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT WEAPONS.The active ingredient in tear gas is a man made chemical: 2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile and the active ingredient in bear spray comes from nature, and is a derivitive of pepper: capsicin. So this dunce cap and the DA charged me with selling and possessing a weapon I did not possess, and I believe this is happening all over California. Don't let the DA's and police officers get away with it.
And NONE of them had the right to force me to surrender my temperature.

"LAW ENFORCEMENT PHILOSOPHY Regardless of the increased use and rising crime rate in parks, all park visitors have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and to be dealt with in a courteous and cordial manner. Our goals continue to be the provision of a rewarding park experience, and protection of the public's cherished natural and cultural resources.
In the minds of most citizens, the title "Ranger," "Lifeguard," or "State Park Peace Officer" often evokes a positive image of a professional who is dedicated to the service of the public, a friend, guardian, ally who is genuinely committed to helping park visitors achieve a wholesome, safe, and rewarding park experience. This image is the reason many choose to spend their lives as State Park Peace Officers, and has a great deal of value to the Department.
Law enforcement authority is not in conflict with our traditional image. Law enforcement is, after all, a positive and necessary public service and thus is a natural complement to OUR ROLE AS GUARDIANS AND PROTECTORS. As a Ranger or a Lifeguard, you have been charged with the responsibility for protecting and preserving the public and the public's cherished resources, as well as an image that has been zealously guarded and entrusted to your care."Help to Secure Our Beaches in CaliforniaTheresa Buccola2022-08-25 | givesendgo.com/G3FDT
Park Rangers and Police Officers are acting like wardens in a prison and not our servants. All of God’s children must be permitted to enjoy the beaches at the times of our choosing - without the fear of arrest, violence or having them walk right up to your space on the sand and start reaching into your bags. This is happening every weekend in Santa Cruz, CA.
There are ways to stop this, and helping me to carry the lawsuit through to completion is one of them. My arrests all started when I stood against a theft of biblical proportions. Please go to the GiveSendGo link at the top.
Power to the PeopleThe Day 12 Rebels Opened A Closed Beach and Freed the PeopleTheresa Buccola2022-08-16 | For the 4th of July and Labor Day Weekends, 2020 in Carmel by the Sea CA, City Hall and the Police Department went off the rails and threatened We, the People with violence (arrests, handcuffs, jail time) and fines if we went swimming in the ocean or walking on the beach. I was one of only 2 people out of a population of 450,000 in Monterey County who went out there to stand against this tyranny on the 4th of July. You know, the weekend We celebrate our fight for freedom from tyrants. I was handcuffed, taken to a jail 30 miles away, and released at 3:00 in the morning after Officers Johnson and Boucher stole my mace. I was charged with "Entering a Disaster Area".
My friends and I returned 2 months later on Labor Day, after serving 5 local officials with a Notice of Violation, and our message was: "We, the People are going to exercise our God given rights and enjoy any park or public beach of our choosing, at any time We want. Leave us alone, or be sued".
We had no idea what was going to happen that day. I was prepared to be arrested again. Instead, We were told by those waiting behind the police tape (that had been strung all along the edge of the beach again like a crime scene) that the police were waiting for us to arrive, and then the beach would be open. Our beautiful white sand beach was all but deserted when we arrived. Half an hour later, as People streamed down, it was packed with life. The Founding Fathers wanted this to be a country of rebels.
Power to the PeopleArrested for the Crime of Standing on a Public Beach, Carmel, CATheresa Buccola2022-08-12 | In July, 2020 politicians and police officers decided that We, the People could be attacked, jailed and charged with entering a disaster area for duly exercising our freedoms and enjoying the sand and ocean. And this was all done on the 4th of July weekend, when We were supposed to be celebrating our Independence from tyrants.
In this video, the tyrants' names are Officer Greg Johnson and Officer Joe Boucher of the Carmel by the Sea Police Department in California. In the thumbnail, you can see Corporal Bruno, Detective Jacob Clifford and Boucher, ambush and tackle a man who had come down to play ball with his dog in the water. This occurred just a few yards away from where I was arrested. These two officers proceed to dig way down into my pockets, rifle through my purse, handcuff me, and drag me to a dungeon 30 miles away. I was released in the middle of the night. I recently filed a lawsuit:
And here's where you can donate to teach tyrants a painful lesson, that they are never EVER again, to steal nature from We, the People:

I'd like to think after being forced to listen to this over the bullhorn from inside that department, the potential consequence of any future cruelty towards those that have committed no crime - stirred around in their minds and made them uncomfortable enough to realign themselves with that oath but more importantly, with God.
Power to the People.Confronting Capitola Police Department About Their Unlawful ActivityTheresa Buccola2022-08-10 | Charges were never filed against my friend David for trespassing and Chief Terry McManus went into an early retirement after this interaction. Maybe McManus leaving prematurely and the lack of any follow-up was unrelated to confronting them. Maybe it was related.
In December, 2020 my friend David was handcuffed and dragged to a dungeon the day before this video was filmed, for not wearing a mask in the post office in Capitola, CA by Officers Mendoza and Quolas. After Officer Mendoza got back in his police car with David handcuffed in the backseat, Mendoza removed his mask. I wonder why.
The post office is federal property and the police departments have no jurisdiction there. It's interesting to watch as I hold Officer Quolas' feet to the fire while he tries to rationalize how he was able to arrest David the day before in the post office, but not willing to allow us to file a complaint against the post office employees for causing an unlawful imprisonment, "That's a federal building, you're gonna need to contact a federal office". What did you say, Officer?
I have in my hand (among other things) a copy of the Constitution and CA Penal Code 602 which defines trespassing. After showing Officer Quolas print-outs of Title 241 & 242 and Title 42, Section 1983, Quolas claims he is going to get the paperwork in his car so we can file a complaint, and then he runs away, never to be seen again.CA Park Rangers Arrest Man for Undisclosed Reason on a Beach in Santa Cruz, CATheresa Buccola2022-08-09 | From the California Park Ranger Policy Manual:

Boucher from the Carmel by the Sea Police Department in CA for standing on a public beach. The officers went into my purse and stole my mace, and after being kicked out of the Monterey County Sheriff's Jail in California at 3am, I walked to the only lit place to sit down and call a cab. In other words, those who swore to "protect and serve" steal your only means of protection, force you to be dumped out disoriented, into a deserted and dark area in the middle of the night, and don't care how you get home. They don't care if you get home.
Neither do these two stellar security guards, who again, force me off a public parking lot, because of Covid, which was outside in the fresh air. I had to leave a public parking lot and walk to a coffee shop until I could get a $100 cab back to my car at 5:00 in the morning, 30 miles away away from my car. God forbid, one of these security guards said, "I'll stay with you until you can get a cab".
Way to go Carmel by the Sea Police Department and MCSO jail.
Here is the lawsuit I filed against Officers Boucher, Johnson, Maldonado, Tomasi, et. al. for enforcing the threat of violence against peaceful People if they swam or surfed in the ocean, for illegal search and seizure, for unlawful imprisonment, and for various other despicable crimes:
Below is the donations page, if you want to help me in seeing this lawsuit through to completion. I did not hire an attorney because my rights are a gift from God, and no one else other than me has the duty to protect them. Besides, there isn't an attorney on the planet, that would have created such a devastating complaint. Tyrants must be taught there are consequences for treating their oaths to the Constitution like toilet paper, and imprisoning the People for being in nature. If you don't want to file your own Title 42 Section 1983 Lawsuit, you can assist from the wings:
On July 3rd, 2020, I was arrested for standing on a public beach. Two public servants: Former Chief Paul Tomasi and City Administrator Chip Rerig of Carmel by the Sea, CA, decided that anyone who was found "swimming, surfing, or playing water sports" in the ocean, would be fined, jailed and charged with "entering a disaster area". I defied them, got arrested and filed a lawsuit. If you want to help me get justice for this, the GiveSendGo link is just above.
At this point in the video, I have been handcuffed for three hours, already searched twice, dragged to a jail 30 miles away from my car, forced to give up my temperature after repeated threats from Carmel by the Sea police Officer Boucher, had a suffocation device slipped over my head while my hands were still in cuffs behind my back, and then I am searched for a third time by a new stranger: Deputy McFarlin. They throw my purse on the ground, and giggle as they dig through my belongings.
Thousands of times every day all over this country, peaceful, innocent People are forced to endure this humiliation ritual: armed and snickering strangers run their hands all over us without our consent, our legs are kicked open, our mugshots, signatures and fingerprints stolen, and our money is taken out of our wallets, all without so much as a single inquiry as to whether or not we have hurt anyone, or been brought directly from the magistrate before we will be imprisoned. If they weren't wearing uniforms, we would call this a molestation and the intake room in all sheriff's departments, would be called slave weigh-stations.

July 3rd, 2020 CARMEL POLICE DEPARTMENT made the decision to violate the God-given rights of those that have purchased their homes by allowing nature to be declared a "disaster area". They enforced this ludicrous declaration with violence by tackling a peaceful man walking in the water, shackling 2 of the People like slaves to be dragged to the POLICE DEPARTMENT and SHERIFF'S JAIL - 30 miles away, and searched my bag, pockets and phone without a warrant. I was searched repeatedly, my property stolen, and then dragged handcuffed to the jail in Salinas, and released at 3:00 in the morning, 30 miles away from home. I was charged with "Entering a Disaster Area."
On February 26th, 2021 I returned to the Carmel Police Department to retrieve the bodycam footage from this arrest, when the same officer, J. Boucher with Officer G.
