(There's no audio because of how this build likes to behaves with Xemu, especially video files. As such, all .sfd video files, and .wma audio files have been striped out. And all .csv files with instances of .wav files have been edited. I do plan to release this edited version when I've done a bit more testing with it.)

Happy 18th Anniversary to Open Season (2006)'s United Kingdom Release!
Ripped from the Xbox 360 version. Had to go through a whole bunch of audio files to see which was for who since they were all numbered.

From the German Open Season Website files I could find. This had to be uprezed though.

This contains audio from the old and mostly archived Open Season website, note that I had to get this from different versions of the website (for example: home.swf was archived from the German website). I don't have the Mobile + Partners pages since they aren't archived as far as I remember, there was also some Ubisoft related stuff that I decided to skip. P.S tried to contact the person who made the website on Vimeo, they did respond but never got back to me if they still had the OG files in their archive. Also the irony that the OG celebrities supplied voice lines (mostly Ashton Kutcher as Elliot) for this website only to be mostly not brought back for the Sequels, Scared Silly, Call of Nature (TV Series). Even the VideoGame from before the movie came out.

Boog attacks Shaw, a psychotic hunter, because he has hurt his friend, Elliot, a mule deer he met in the forest. Shaw wants Boog dead but Beth, the forest ranger who raised him, returns intent on taking Boog back home. Boog must choose between his old life in town with Beth, or his new life in the wilderness with Elliot and the forrest animals.

Song muted for copyright.
Description from Vimeo:
It has been decided that Boog, a domesticated bear who has been raised from a cub by a forest ranger, Beth, has gone wild and must be relocated to the forest. Beth takes a tranquilized Boog back to the wilderness in a helicopter where she leaves him high above the falls where she hopes he will be safe from hunters.

These are the storyboards I did for the sequence, "Paddy Wagon". I only have some of the panels but the entire sequence can be seen in the movie clip. Boog is "intoxicated" with sugar after raiding a candy store with his new friend, Elliot, a wild deer. Sheriff Gordy is taking him back to Beth's house in his truck.

Description from Vimeo:
This sequence was done early on in production and later cut because it was decided that Elliot, the deer, should come from the wild and not be a tame animal like Boog, the bear. This scene was where we initially met Gordy, the town sheriff.

Note that for time reasons, I only chose one scene to showcase the differences, mostly cropped, panned and scanned, a little bit of restaging in the opening credits, and the top and bottom of the image being slightly more open matte than the BluRay 3D and Netflix versions.

Note that for time reasons, this doesn't have every test that I was able to find, only character animation test related stuff. Also note that most of these that have never been seen on the home media releases are in low quality due to only being seen in an old Siggraph keynote. I do plan to do another batch on the 18th anniversary date of the movie in Russia (the country the franchise of all time was mostly popular in, good god why), originally wanted to do so for the UK release date but I have other posts for that date. Plus YouTube's upload limit for me is 10 maximum, not able be able to post more than what I'll post for now.

Includes various never before seen animation tests among other things.
Long clips of the movie have been blurred out due to the video being blocked worldwide with the clips as is.
Happy 18th Anniversary to Open Season (2006)'s North American Release!
Note that this isn't entirely perfect, but it's a lot better than the scan I did way back in January earlier in 2024 that I never released.
Includes music from the Open Season Videogame.
Doubt I'll upload the Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese intros given that they're already on YouTube in some capacity.
