This will apparently include three readout/knob panels and three sets of levers to approximate Boeing, Airbus, and general aviation. The price point of under 400 dollars USD, if realized, will be very compelling. I will be following this for sure.

What really caught my attention was of course the G1000, but also the AB6 FFB Joystick Base. Moza also does this on their racing side: Have multiple options for force feedback. I say the more options the better. Force feedback is where it's at, and this will help us get there!

Moza AB9 Force Feedback Joystick Base | Review | MSFS | 2020 | 2024 IvanSky 2024-12-24 | Review of the Moza AB9 force feedback base. Bottom line is I love this joystick base. I have sold all of my non force feedback yokes including my Honeycomb Alpha. Note: there are a few times when I refer to the AB9 as a yoke. Sorry about that. Being able to change joystick configurations in terms of force and centering is amazing.
IvanSky Channel Update | MSFS 24 Crashes IvanSky 2024-12-21 | Just a brief status update, apology, mild rant about MSFS 24 crashes delaying content for me. Description of current crash (seems to be common on the forums): All connected displays/screens go dark, computer case fans ramp up to high speeds. During this can't get screens back on or fan to slow down. Only thing I have been able to do is to turn the computer off by holding the power button down. Have updated Windows 11, bios, Nvidia driver, MSFS 24. Several theories going around , and as I said, several are reporting this exact presentation. Let me know if you have a fix! Otherwise, please let me know if there are MSFS 2020 or other flight sim questions you may have.

He did not want to go on camera but said that product would be shipping soon, and that they were still around. We didn't go into the "glass" products demonstrated at last years Flight Sim Expo or the management change. Fingers crossed. As I said in the video, the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo were all over the expo being used in other vendors' exhibits. Fingers crossed.

Just Flying for Fun | DJI Mini 3 Pro | Air 3 | Air 2 Firmware Upgrade for Remote ID | Lazy Drone Day IvanSky 2023-07-20 | More of an experiment than anything in depth. Just noodling around the lake with a DJI Mini 3 Pro. It's still a great drone. It's very expensive to rent a plane. Around here it's about 160 dollars per hour which does include fuel. It's actually a reasonable rate, but it can quickly add up. Flying drones and spending time with the flight simulators is a way to get some aviation time without going up in an actual plane. Per the DJI website, the DJI Air 2 will get a firmware update which will bring it into compliance for Remote ID. This is supposed to happen by the end of September 2023. This is great news as now Air 2 owners can be compliant without a module, and it could also mean better resale value. One thing that's fun about making videos is all of the technology needed to so. It has been fun learning Davinci Resolve and getting more experience with on location shooting. I plan on doing more these.

I really didn't get to spend enough time with it, but it was great to feel the force feedback. As I mention in the video, force feedback is practically standard in racing sims, and I am glad to see more options for flight applications. I was trying it with X-Plane.
