This was a palace created by Emperor Nero. It was one of the most lavish palaces built in ancient Rome. After Nero's death, it was buried, and a Bath House was built on top of it. Because it was buried, it was actually quite well preserved. Nowadays, you can go inside of it and walk through these preserved underground ruins.The second is the most famous one, the Colosseum. We'll go over the significance of its location, how it was constructed, and what it was used for. After that, we take a walk through the Roman forums and the Palatine Hill, which was at the center of ancient Rome.Then, we will visit the Trajan Forum and Trajan Markets, which some archaeologists have interpreted as the world's first shopping mall.And to end the video, we'll visit Castel Sant'Angelo. You might be thinking, 'Isn't that a medieval fortification?' Well, yes, it is, but that fortress was actually built on Hadrian's Mausoleum, which was the tomb of Emperor Hadrian. But, of course, since not much remains of that except for the base, in that section of the video, you'll also get a lot of medieval history.
