Petit Copter for the xbox. I can't really control the helicopter (it's harder than a real helicopter) and all the menus are in Japanese(?), so I'm not sure what's happening in the game.

2 Assault Psi Warriors with Skeleton Suit + LPR + MindShield
1 Support Psi Guardian with Skeleton Suit + LPR + MindShield + Medkit
1 Support Smokejumper with LPR + Scope
2 Sectoids
Can you tell I love PSI units?
In my second 20K match versus the by now veteran caster Fire Water Gasoline (http://www.youtube.com/user/FireWaterGasoline) I bring back the Assault Psi Warrior, one of my all time favorite units (second only to the Psi Guardian) that I haven't used ever since the infamous Ghost Armour update.
My strategy was to try and play as if I was using my regular squad, knowing that my experience with the SC/Guardian duo would come in handy when I tried to spread panic and confusing among my opponent's troops.
No quarter given no mercy shown, as FWG is well know by winning games he had already lost. :)
You can find details about this set of rules here: http://www.xcombat.net/xcom-enemy-unknown/strike-force
Copy pasta of the rules:
"Match Format
Matches are best of three. A third match is only played if required.
Match parameters are:
1- 7500 point limit
2- 90 second turn timer
3- Map selection as described below.
Select maps using the following procedure (maps may only be used for one game each match):
Game 1 -- Player B may choose one map to "ban". The banned map may not be selected by either player for the rest of the match. After player B selects a banned map, Player A chooses from the remaining maps and is the host of the first game.
Game 2 -- Player B selects the map from the remaining choices and hosts the match.
Game 3 (if required) -- Player A selects the map from the remaining choices and hosts the match.
After a map is chosen, players will have 5 minutes to construct the squad for the game. Squads may be changed between games as long as choices are limited to the Force Pool."
Interesting new way to play the game, I decided the best to test it would be to play a few matches against OneTonGorilla, who introduced me to this set of rules.
We played with a 120 timer to avoid problems caused by lag.
Apologies for the slurred speech and slightly incoherent rambling, but I was sleep deprived when recording this. :P

1 Sectoid Commander
1 Thin Man
2 Sectoids
My second attempt at commenting a game in real time.
I did re-record a couple sentences (can you find them?) after my mic decided to record some imaginary noises but apart from that it's my genuine reaction, I did not edit anything else.
I must say I'm surprised how much of my onoes05 squad I guessed.
Want to play a couple matches against me? Leave a message on the comments!

My squad:
4 Support Psi Guardian with Skeleton Suit + LPR + MindShield + Medkit
1 Thin Men
1 Sectoid
Everyone told me it would be a bad idea to use this squad. They told me it would not work, that it was too unbalanced. That I was being stubborn, it had too many flaws and I should just use Archangel Snipers instead.
I decided to prove them wrong!
This was my first time commenting in real time (or at all, really). It's harder than it seems so apologies for any accidental stutter or if I change subject abruptly.
My microphone also seems to be very good at recording everything that's not my voice. I swear I do not mumble in real life! :P
My squad:
1 Support Psi Guardian with Skeleton Suit + Scope + MindShield
1 Sectoid Commander
1 Support Smokejumper with LPR + Scope
3 Sectoids
My squad:
1 Support Psi Guardian with Skeleton Suit + Scope + MindShield
1 Sectoid Commander
1 Support Smokejumper with LPR + Scope
3 Sectoids
This squad works surprisingly well against smokejumper and psi squads.
The combination of the 2X mindfrays, mindcontrol, psi inspiration and psi shield can make this squad really hard to hit for a couple turns while you deal damage/debuff enemy units, killing them and leaving you opponent confused.
Suppressing with the Sectoids doesnt hurt either or you can always shoot the enemy, hoping for that 6 damage critical hit.
One thing most players dont seem to know is that you can mind merge a sectoid with the Sectoid Commander, allowing you to get a better chance to mindfray/mindcontrol a enemy unit with bigger willpower.
I show you a couple of these strategies on this quick match. Enjoy!
My squad:
2 Assault Gunners with Skeleton Suits + Scatter Lasers + Laser Pistols + Stims
3 Sectoids
Why I prefer Assault Gunners VS Assault Recons:
- You can to fire twice. Not only that allows you to do more damage but also gives you an extra % chance to hit. Pistols can be deadly against weaker units this way too, making the assaults not completely useless in long/medium range.
- Lightning Reflexes. After the stims effect passes, if not all the enemy units are killed this will give you an huge advantage against that annoying sniper/muton camping in the corner of the map/behind a desk.
One of the easiest to use and most powerful squads around, the 2 assault gunners squad allows you to easily win versus most squads. Almost feels like cheating.
Full squads, flying units and better "Commanders" might be a challenge, but even the most experienced player will have a hard time once you learn to hide your assaults until the last moment.
So, the opposite of what I did in this video.
In one of the first games i played with this squad, I managed to stim too early, far away from the enemy team, without scouting properly first, send 1 units at the time and, to top it all, facing one of the top players on the leaderboards.
Did the RNG save me? Or did the Xcom God punish me for being a noob?
My squad:
1 Support Psi Guardian with Skeleton Suit + Scope + MindShield
1 Sectoid Commander
1 Support Smokejumper with LPR + Scope
3 Sectoids
This squad works surprisingly well against smokejumper and psi squads.
The Psi Guardian can use Psi Inspiration to increase both his and Sectoid Commander's attack. Together they can kill, mind control or debuff most enemy units.
But you see will none of that in this video. No fancy tactics, no complicated strategies. The stars of this video are...the sectoids!
My squad:
1 Cyberdisc
1 Sectoid Commander
1 Drone
Being aggressive with the Cyberdisc on the first turn when starting on this side of the map can give you a big advantage, by allowing you to see the enemy squad early, giving away his/her strategy, or most commonly, when the enemy dashes the sniper (or any unit obviously, but it is usually the sniper) to the train on his right side, leaving it completely unprotected.
I suppose it can backfire, if the other squad has a sniper with squadsight that has not moved yet, but in +20 games it has not happened yet.
While facing Cyberdiscs with my previous squad, similar to the one WaTdAgUrLsWaNt uses on this match, I found the best approach is to use all units against it at the same time, spreading your squad or failing to advance at the same time will not work most times.
My squad:
1 Cyberdisc
1 Sectoid Commander
1 Drone
One of the top 10 players, my friend Rossy is one of those guys that always makes you go "awww crap" when you see his name appear.
As I mentioned on my match against michael.shamis83, the ability to throw grenades from very far away with the Cyberdisc in the beginning of the game is usually very handy to kill any annoying spotters for the snipers, or weaken any units with 10hp or less, so that the Sectoid Commander can finish the job.
Often I kill sectoids in that spot, before my opponent spots any of my units. In this case however, it was like shaking a hornets nest.
My squad:
1 Cyberdisc
1 Sectoid Commander
1 Drone
Another game against a top 10 player, zarazara843, who quits after realizing he cannot win. A quick fight with lots of casualties in just a couple turns.
My squad:
1 Cyberdisc
1 Sectoid Commander
1 Drone
Cyberdisc can throw grenades very far away, allowing you a guaranteed kill when facing weaker aliens. Perfect to kill the spotter for the sniper, when you don't want to reveal your position or if like in this match, you know there are some units grouped together.
And the Sectoid Commander and Mind Control...against small squads with overpowered units with no mind shields, it's basically a very high chance to win the game in one move. :)
My squad:
1 Cyberdisc
1 Sectoid Commander
1 Drone
A really good combination, this squad allows you to either have a very aggressive playstyle, with the Cyberdisk high damage and Sectoid Commander's mindfray, or to "hit and run", taking advantage of the drone ability to repair the Cyberdisc to keep harassing your oponent while the Sectoid Commander mind controls the weaker units.
Very entertaining, especially when the enemy squad consists of melee units, as they are useless against fliers. After several games I found that the biggest threat is...former opponents that decide to copy this squad. Cyberdiscs are not good against Cyberdiscs!
My squad:
1 Support Psi Guardian with Skeleton Suit + LPR + Scope + MindShield
4 Support Smokejumpers with LPR + Scope
1 Sectoid
One of top 10 players on the leaderboards, Madlax gave me little chance to win this match.
He advanced quickly and took control of the map. Failing to be more aggressive on my second turn cost me this match, and made me finally change my squad.
My squad:
1 Support Psi Guardian with Skeleton Suit + LPR + Scope + MindShield
4 Support Smokejumpers with LPR + Scope
1 Sectoid
One of my favorite maps, I rush in the first turn and then advance very slowly making sure the units cover each other and have good cover. Almost like a singleplayer mission.
In this case I knew v8interceptorv8 had a muton and after he didnt shoot or throw any grenades (that's why I used the smoke grenade, to invite him to do so), I was sure it was a Berserker. It's almost useless on this map if you take out the other units first, since all you need to do is climb the ladders and block them.
This squad would have been much harder for me to defeat on Police Station or Bar.
My squad:
1 Support Psi Guardian with Skeleton Suit + LPR + Scope + MindShield
4 Support Smokejumpers with LPR + Scope
1 Sectoid
Playing against a squad of supports with skeleton suits.
In my opinion requejokim should have kept the units closer to each other, focusing on one of my units at the time and could taken advantage of the grapple to quickly take control of the map.
First time playing on this map with this squad, it's a rematch against my previous opponent.
It was a short game with lots of mistakes and some friendly fire. Drones are hard to control!
First time playing on this map with my 3rd team.
Still testing it, trying to see what's the best way to deploy on each map before playing ranked matches.
I created this team for a match on Trainyard, but replaced the 2 floaters with a sectoid commander, since I think he adapts better to smaller maps. Plus the grenade is nice bonus.
Ranked Match - Trainyard
In one of the closest game I've had for a while, it felt like everyone on my team decided to fail. Maybe I'm picky, but I like to think those 70% chance to hit shots should land everytime.
This was also a good example of one the things the mindfray ability is good for: killing weaker or wounded enemies.
Ranked Match - Grand Cemetery
I got the advantage early in the game after a mistake by F!n4L granted me an easy kill and a good position in the map.
Either F!n4L quit the game once he figured out he was going to lose, or lost connection.
I think I would have won the match anyway, since I outnumbered him and was just about to use mindfray to kill another unit. Great game either way.
Custom game - 10000 points - 90 second turns
Again, lots of dead units. Fire Water Gasoline unleashed a Muton Berserker on my team that killed half of my troops, until a brave sectoid finally put him down, proving he is worth the 400 points.
I made a couple mistakes (failing to flank the commander? Really Cabal_?) but overall I was happy with my performance on this match, especially considering it was Fire Water Gasoline.

A massacre for both sides, it was a really fun game. I've been watching his Xcom videos for a while, so it was exciting to finally play against him.
As usual, we encountered a couple of bugs. It's Xcom after all.

It was the first and last time I played this game. It's boring as hell. All you need to do is spam the punch button.
Hello Kitty World would still be my favorite girly game if I had one.
Emulated on the Xbox.
Gameplay recorded with the Pinnacle Video Transfer.
I just summoned a bunch of archers to test it. It does slow down the game when you have too many followers.
You can summon an elf archer, a female mage, an Orc Warrior and a Guard.
Guards are bad, because they act like real ones. Meaning they will try to arrest you if you do something illegal.
Raiding dungeons was never so easy.
A simple game that is quite cool once you get the hang of it.
Here's a cool review of the game: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/review/R66539.html
We suck.
I only played as guardian on this match, but there are other 2 characters to choose from with different powers and abilities.
I played as a Guardian during the whole game, but I couldn't kill anyone using his special skills. I guess they are better used on small maps. (Or maybe I suck?)
- 4 Scamps
- 2 Twin brothers
- 1 Adoring fan
- 1 summoned creature
They are not very good against the guards, as only one of the brothers and the summoned creature attacks them, but it's really fun to play in the wilderness or inside dungeons, as they all attack and destroy any enemies. Except the adoring fan, he's still useless.
Almost feels like playing as a Necromancer in Diablo 2.
One day when I activated a shrine or a magical stone my horse was also affected.
The power was supposed to be temporary, but it never faded out, making my horse the fastest animal/human/monster to ever walk on oblivion.
Since I'm moving to different areas so fast the game needs to load several times, interrupting the gameplay and even crashing the game, sometimes.
Also, I'm sorry for the voices in the background, but I didn't realize I had the voice output on both speakers and headset.
Instantgib mode, and bots on the hardest difficulty.
And me, getting owned, real bad.
The only part worth playing, actually.
Lots of places to camp, and, best of all, only one damn sniper. No more cheap kills.
How many times did I own you guys on this one, hum? ;)
