It was a ton of fun writing this tune, as I've never really gotten the chance to make upbeat, adventurous music before. To match the map's central theme of ascent, I included as many upward key modulations as possible. This map also features a lot of opportunities for frustrating falls which I purposely wanted to contrast with the positivity of the music. While it only took a few hours to create, I am really happy with how this little piece turned out.

I was so happy to get to create music for such a beautiful environment, and I tried my best to encapsulate the many feelings of autumn. The in-game soundtrack consists of 3 segments for each section of the map. For this version, I combined the segments in a way which shows off most of the audio as well as creating a hopefully cohesive listening experience. I hope you guys like it!

This song was made extremely last minute. It was just a few days before the submission deadline and I had to leave my computer the morning after, so I created the entire thing from 9pm to 12am. It was a stressful but exhilarating process, and I'm really happy with how the final product turned out

I had a lot of fun trying to compose something that matched the cruel and terrifying visuals of this map, and I got to experiment with a bunch of unusual sounds, including my own voice
This piece has been sitting in my brain for quite a while now, and I'm glad to finally get it into the real world. I thought very little about the overall arrangement while writing, as I wanted to focus more on the natural introduction and return of musical ideas rather than forcing the song to conform to a specific format. However, that's not to say that there are no overarching features at all. The main sections of this piece all use 24 beat phrases divided into different subdivisions, starting out as (5+5+5+5+4), then (7+7+7+3), then later (6+6+6+6). This unconventional rhythmic system helped me come up with a lot of material that I otherwise wouldn't have considered. Overall, I'm very happy with how this piece turned out, and I hope others enjoy it as well.

This was my first time both using OpenMPT (or any mod tracker) and making chiptune, so it was fun to explore and try some new things that I wouldn't otherwise get the chance to do. I don't expect to be making any more music of this style in the future but I am definitely happy with what I was able to create. Hope you enjoy!
This song started out as only the first four bars and the final climax; two seemingly unrelated ideas that I knew were worth the effort to connect. The transition section from 1:28 to 2:11 was what allowed this connection to occur and was by far the most rewarding part to write. I chose to stick to more conventional rhythms and an overall more traditional style which was a challenge but, in the end, the right decision.
Hopefully they'll be more music appearing on this channel in the near future as I have a number of projects in the final stages of development, but that depends on my productivity and availability: two things that I have frustratingly little control over. Thanks for listening.
