This means less contract farming which is super nice.Q: How are you getting a speed boost off the ground? (Superdash)A: If you play on KBM, you can double bind "Move Forward" and "Dash" to the same key. If you press that key and jump directly afterwards, you will get what we call a "Superdash" which gives you a large boost forward. I have the doublebind on N and jump with the spacebar.Q: What the hell happened at 1:10:58? (Zipping)A: When using Rafa's Arc Blades, the game will attempt to "ground" you after you use the right-click attack. However, if there is no floor for you to stand on after the attack the game will send you flying in the direction you are looking. Borderlands 4 Any% Speedrun in 5:21:52 Deceptix_ 2025-09-26 | Before you ask... yes, this run was done with a very rough route and minimal testing. I also forgot a lot of the routing at random places, but that's to be expected with a new speedrun right... haha :)This run has lots of potential with the strats we have found so far, although needing to be level 15 to get enhancements and the big damage glitch does make the beginning rough. We found you can actually swap reload in this game (of course, it's a bit different which is why we didn't know from day 1) so that should help a bit. And obviously, there is going to be some better routing in almost every place possible. Oh and we do not have a load remover yet so the first few runs will be done RTA instead of Time without Loads. Even through all of the crashes that absolutely destroyed my mental (it got to around a 90% crash rate at Eden-6), I'm glad I was able to get this time before BL4.The Speedrun Mod guarantees drops of specific gear such as the Hellwalker, Vanquisher, and Snowdrift, as well as a few other changes. Borderlands 2 Scarlett DLC Speedrun in 18:26 Deceptix_ 2024-07-28 | I cant believe we have serpentine-style movement in a Borderlands game lolYou can drive faster in a sandskiff by moving in smaller curves instead of driving straight forwards, kind of like air strafing in a source game but much easier. Finding this was actually quite funny and helped save a bunch of time across the run given the amount of driving needed to traverse some of the larger maps in the game. Borderlands 2 Geared All Quests (NS) Speedrun in 2:19:39 Deceptix_ 2024-05-06 | I decided to get back into geared speedruns and I thought routing and running Geared All Quests would be a good way to ease myself into rocket jumping again. Had a lot of fun putting this run together and am quite happy with the result.This run does NOT include Bandit or Hyperion Slaughter because I found them boring in practice and I would much rather run a category that is more focused on the movement AND is 30 minutes shorter than forcing myself to actually do the slaughter maps. BUT HERE IT IS! The time we have put in the master and optimize this category to where it is now has been a hell of a ride but one that I have enjoyed even through the ups and downs. The Hunt 2023 Part 1 (Story/Toboggan/DLCs) Deceptix_ 2023-09-14 | Yes I know the hunt ended over a month ago. Yes I know I am late to posting these VODs but I (shockingly) kept forgetting about it... but hey they are here now :)I want to start this off by saying this hunt felt very weird to me, maybe because my expectations were set pretty high from the last hunt, but it just didn't feel the same. I think the biggest culpret to this was that the winner was based off of stream time instead of the person who collected all of the items first. So this just felt like any other speedrun that I do on a daily basis. I still enjoyed my time and we did end up raising hundreds of dollars for charity, but the competition aspect was lacking.
