I never found the motivation to find a thumbnail that's good enough for this video, but this time I really just wanted to share it with others. That's why this video may seem familiar from a while back but was never posted. Ik I mostly make these for myself, but I think others would like to see them as well, so I apologize for any kind of delay. I have been quite busy with school and life but I still love doing things like this. There are quite a number of errors in the render that I wish I fixed, but I'll just accept them hahaI tend to get pretty sad in the winter time so I wanted to incorporate warmer colours into the video to kind of counter that haha. And I previously planned on making an actual animation and all that for this song, but I had trouble incorporating the lyrics, so you might see some remnants of it here (Akiren was originally the snowman while Goro was the boy who needed help). I refuse to use Goro's actual Christmas design bc it's horrendous so I went and designed my own and made it! I think it fits the Christmas theme much more (my main basis is the nutcracker bc his prince design is already so similar to it haha. I also added his lightsaber sword on his right bc he's left-handed and used more of his prince design bc Joker's Christmas design is heavily based off of his phantom outfit.) and it doesn't make me want to raid ATLUS' headquarters either. So that's why the quality may not be up to par as my recent stuff. I made these edits for last year's shuake week (from Y to Y, to be more specific) but i thought that they were too cute to just be seen in 1 small cameo so i made this haha. I slid into mijinko's dms asking for her opinions on a shuake love child bc im going to be honest, i kind of ran out of creativity xD and then out popped their cute little daughter! mijinko was primarily responsible for her adorable face and helped me with the clothes as well (she inherited akechi's sweater vests!) I like her hair the most, her little pigtails are just too cute T_T (and she got akiren's messy hair hehe). mijinko's original sketches were SO CUTE UGHGHHHHHH. She also helped me translate the Japanese lyrics (Google translate couldn't pull through for me haha) so I owe her uwuMe and mijinko also talked about how the family would be! Akechi would be the one getting all the bank while akiren would stay at home and take care of the kid and house. akechi would be like I:( when coming home from work but then he'd see his daughter and husband and then go :) LOL. I didn't really think how this child would come to be, as she does share physical similarities w both (black messy hair, red eyes)with the scenery i tried to do some new things (this is a raw 4k export, rather than the 2k export upscaled to 4k) while i can see some difference between the 2, rendering in 4k literally drains the life out of me SKDJHFKSHFSDKF. i'll probably only do it for short videos. I also tried using emissive with a gif and this is my first time using a HDRI skydome! After playing P3 I've had a huge AiKoto obsession (the parallels between them and ShuAke is unmatched... Aikoto walked so ShuAke can run) and Aigis' arc throughout the game was honestly so touching... I knew what the ending was but I didn't want it to happen ;;; I think that Makoto seeing Aigis as human in his last moments is honestly one of the most touching things I've ever seen (also me and my bf got together bc of it but honestly that's it's whole other thing LOL). I loved P3's message and story and I really hope that this fan recreation does it justice! If P3 ever gets a remake one day, I can't wait to experience Aigis' growth again. I tried to put as many references as I could, and I'm quite happy how it turned out. Massive thank you to theoneprecioustome because that's honestly where I got a majority of my aikoto references from/ They do an amazing job archiving everything, especially since aikoto is a fairly old ship compared to persona ships nowadays that have content for them. I'm gonna be honest, one the only reason i did this was bc i wanted to make akira drive a car because im a simp. he's 200x more attractive behind a wheel. and to fufill my shuake agenda with DSN models bc they're matching and so pretty! lord this video was so self indulgent LOL. I'm sorry if some of the scenes are a little subpar, I was doing effects for 7 videos in a row and was getting a lil uncreative xD And I took a lot of inspiration from The Soda Wave haha, their work is quite amazing! fun fact: my first time i did this song as a test for DSN Akechi with pink and blue lights, so I wanted to throwback w that haha. It's probably my fav light colour combo. This was a perfect excuse to do idol shuake (i've been thinking of doing them ever since Noodle put out her video of idol shuake last year hehe). It's nothing much or special this time around, it's rather simple. I wanted to focus on the model edits and the concert scene (my PC was kind of dying if you couldn't tell haha). It's very hard to emulate a concert scene but I think I did the best I can do :] (fun fact, the starting scene is just the default MMD light settings) I also had a lot of fun editing and creating the models! 95% of them are entirely made from just Persona Dancing assets. I wanted to create a "cute" look for Goro and "cool" look for Akira, as I'd imagine that's how their styles would be like while incorporating their PT outfits (and also, some extra self-indulgence hehe) I took a lot of inspiration from RongSamaYou, as I've always wanted to do a tell your world guitar MMD bc of him. for the time he made his videos, they're actually incredibleAlso it should be stated that I'm now aware of some flashing lights in the background on the screen. MMD was running at 5fps so I, unfortunately, couldn't see them bc of my framerate, if I could i would have definitely tried my best to fix it. It can be a little bit irritating to look at the background head-on so I recommend just focusing on the models or anywhere else if it stresses your eyes out. I'd like to imagine this is their second live, as Noodle's was their first /w\ And this was also the perfect excuse for some RyuKita, MakoAnn and SumiTaba rights. This is the first time I incorporated flower language, and I personally love it,,,, it makes me want to incorporate it more in my life with gifts and such (shuake straight up changing my life LOL)I had to pitch the cover down so it fits the voices a lil more. Unfortunately the music had to be pitched and edited to avoid copyright, so I'm really hoping this video won't bite the dust anytime soon. BUT ANYWAY on to the actual video, I really tried tying together Royal's ending and themes with this one, so I hope others will understand it :] I think day 6 (Akatsuki Arrival) and day 7 really illustrate what I want to show with these videos and shuake in general. I hope others can see that as well :] I think through doing these shuake MVs i got better at animating and effects, which I'm quite happy about ! For this one, I really wanted to focus on their relationship with detective and thief (which was the original reason why I started liking it then I got something else HAHAAAH) The plot would be that there's a phantom thief (Joker) and the detective (Goro) would have to track them down. Just a constant game of cat and mouse huhuhu. This song is perfect for them, phantom thief stuff, jazz and a whole lot of TENSION ("We aren't doing anything wrong"). Tbh I think this idea came from an idea where I made a render with shuake kabedon JASHDKAHJSD so I had to feed into my desiresI really like how goro's butler section turned out (and you're lying if you don't think this guy looks FLY ASF with a ponytail and a suit). Warm colours are truly a blessing in this world!!!! I took a lot of the plot from the original Cendrillon PV, where one is sent to kill the other but end up falling in love. But they gotta kill the other so there's hella drama. Maybe in this it's an AU with no personas and instead it's a masquerade ball where they have their costumes? But everything with their P5R confidant still happens and baldy man is still the bad guy. This one was very fun to make, but a pain to render (i had to do it like 7 times????? bro) I'm pretty sure that they were gonna canonically do a dance battle anyways so shuake canon. ngl this one was made like a month ago, but i delayed it a whole lot until now kjasdhkjahdsf. thank you shuakes for being patient w me as always ;;;;; While making this, i think im getting better and better w the grasp of lighting and environments which makes me v pleased uwu I used to do mmd for shitposts now i use it to make pretty videos of anime boys this is awesome. also ann looks absolutely stunning w raycast??? omg. and putting the others in different masks was really fun as well ^^I do have one more video before I go on a massive shuake week grind (i'm planning on making a video EACH day O_O starfire is to be thanked for that inspiration LOL). I already have the prompts and songs picked out, it's just that each MV takes approx. a week to make ;;;;; I hope I can finish in time while being sane LOL. I was already planning on working on this and got all the motions loaded but then did other stuff for a bit. Then i saw this very specific akeshu magnet fanart on my twitter TL for 5 seconds before it reloaded and i thought "oh yeah i said i would make a magnet video" LOL. I borrowed the idea of using red and orange from it bc thats the most i can remember out of it sob. Funnily enough, somehow it circulated back to the original artist and they noticed and that's actually so crazy???
