An overview on how to manage the menus to be able to save entire color schemes or just custom pallet choices, as the UI and behavior can be difficult for some -and I agree, this aspect could use revision -at least a tutorial video in-game on how it works, but preferably a revamped way to go about all of this.

There was a trick with the strafing functions that allowed for properly timed tapping of the boost button to lead to a continued boost-slide-strafe and boost -slide-zig-zag movement that was highly energy efficient. Trying to do this in a forward or backward direction would tend to lead to failing to keep the unit grounded.
Hover Legs did not utilize boosters equipped to the core -thus you could not modify their boosting characteristics that were build into the legs themselves.
Hover legs were niche as sometimes a mission map would feature deep water and only a hover leg AC could boost and hover over water and not fall into the water and drown.
While they provided key guides for all menus at the bottom left, they did not include a video to explain how to navigate the menus in painting.
There is a control guide under the help feature, but no contextual support is given -thus the need for a video like this.
When coloring a sub-section of a color set, and on either the color picker, presets, or user colors tab, hitting the button for copy will prompt for a "clipboard" to appear, and you can past any color that is shown in that clipboard into the user pallet. The clipboard can only hold one color at a time.
When you select the entire color set, you only have the option to paste the current color set to the user color sets, so you can not accidentally over-write the presets -but you can, either intentionally or accidentally, over-write your custom presets that you pasted into the user color sets.
Coloration of patterns works similarly, as they have their own color sets consisting of 4 sub-set color choices, and those sub-set individual colors can once again be managed on the sub-sections that make up the color set.
You can not copy a singular color to the clipboard, back out, and try to paste it to another sub-section. The color has to be pasted to the user pallet, then you back out, go to the next sub-section, and pick that color you pasted to user colors. Backing out with a color on the clipboard results in the system clearing the clipboard memory.
Only 29 preset patterns can be applied currently + a null option. There is an option to select one of 3 preset scaling choices for each preset.
A pattern can be selectively applied to either the entirety of any part or unit -or can be selectively applied over specific sub-set colors. This can be utilized to create some very interesting looks.
There are 23 weathering effects + a null option. No customization can be made to these weather effects.
This is the behavior of the game prior any potential future patches, expansions, or even community made mods.
Thank you for your time. I hope this information provides useful.
