JK Leeds 2025-09-19 | It’s been a long while since we’ve entered the world of Boletaria but I feel it’s about time for my yearly Demon’s Souls video. Today, we’re going to do the classic multi cycle archery challenge. It will be only two cycles though because Demon’s Souls only has bows and crossbows, which we’ll be using in new game and new game plus respectively. No greatbows to be found here! If you think this means that the run is going to be easier, well trust me, you do not want to miss this crossbow cycle, things get very painful, very fast. How Hard Is Dark Souls 2 WITHOUT Dodging, Blocking or Armour? JK Leeds 2025-09-05 | So a few months back, I tested out how hard it would be beating Dark Souls 1 without dodging, blocking or armour. Turns out, it was mostly not that bad apart from the DLC which got very difficult. Inevitably, I’d need to ask the same question of the other games in the series and today we’re going to try it out in Dark Souls 2. The rules are simple. I’m not allowed to do any dodging motion, such as rolling or backstepping. I’m not allowed to block attacks with shields of any kind and I must not wear any armour so that tanking attacks becomes tricky with increased damage and no poise. I must use melee only, no ranged stuff like archery or magic, as that would kinda defeat the purpose of the run. I’ve often heard people say that many bosses in Dark Souls 2 can be beaten by just walking around them in a circle so I guess we’ll find out if that’s true.Edited by @junpeixix Want to see more? Dark Souls, But I use a Different Terrible Infusion Each Cycle! JK Leeds 2025-08-29 | So, back when I first started doing these multi cycle runs, my goal was to test out a lot of different mechanics and builds in the Souls games I’d never used while executing them in a challenge run format. Well, one thing I can say I’ve never really used in these games are infusions, most specifically what I like to call the tier 2 infusions. These are the infusions that can only be made when you’ve already infused your weapon with something else. So in the first cycle, we’ll be using the enchanted infusion, only available once you’ve already got a plus 5 magic infused weapon. For the new game plus cycle, I’ll only be using the Occult infusion, only available once you’ve got a plus 5 divine weapon. Then for the final cycle in new game plus plus, I’ll be using the Chaos infusion, only available once you’ve got a weapon with a plus 5 fire infusion. Now, let’s address what you’re probably thinking. “But JK, you’re just going to beat the game with an infused weapon? That doesn’t sound like much of a challenge.” Well, this may surprise you, but this run actually ended up being possibly the most painful Dark Souls 1 multi cycle run yet. Why? Can You Beat Goldeneye (N64) Using Only Throwing Knives? JK Leeds 2025-08-15 | Today, I’m going back to one of the most popular games of the 90s. Back then, Rare were pumping out smash hits for the Nintendo 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo Kazooie, Donkey kong 64, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, the list goes on. Honestly it was the first time I remember being really fascinated by a specific game dev studio. But no game they made was more beloved than Goldeneye 007, also known as Goldeneye 64. This game was a huge hit back then and was one of the first FPS games to pull off home console multiplayer successfully. But we’re not here to do multiplayer today. Dark Souls 3, But I Use A Different Bad Weapon Type Each Cycle! JK Leeds 2025-07-04 | We’re finally back with another Dark Souls 3 multi cycle challenge and today we’re going to be looking at some weapon types traditionally considered bad. The weapon types in question are shields, fists and whips. For the new game cycle, we’ll be using shields which are great for blocking or parrying, but not so good for actually attacking with, given their short range and awkward attacks. For the new game plus cycle, we’ll be using fist weapons, often maligned for having to be right up against enemies to actually hit them and usually many people’s first challenge run weapon of choice. Lastly, for the new game plus plus cycle, we’ll be using whips which are bad because….yeah. Invasion-mania! || Dark Souls 3, But Were the Abyss Watchers! Ft Press Continue JK Leeds 2025-05-27 | Password: dadjokePress Continue and I will be cosplaying as the Abyss Watchers at minimal stats! Rules below!- We'll be playing on Playstation, meaning no seamless coop! We each have our separate world where we act as the host and summon each other. This will mean we are essentially going through every part of the game twice and this will eventually result in 2 separate videos from each of our perspectives. This has the added benefit of allowing more invasion opportunities and for participating people to stay ahead of us in their own respective world. - We start at the minimal stats to wield the farron greatsword (SL19) and whether or not we'll be allowed to level up any further is up to you guys. BECAUSE, everytime we manage to defeat an invading watcher we are allowed to level up once. - We will only be using Abysswatcher gear and gear related to them. So their armour, the Farron Greatsword, Wolf Knight's Greatsword and if we manage to obtain it: the Old Wolf Curved Sword. We expect invading viewers to adhere to those rules as well. - However, consumables ARE allowed. That includes undead hunter charms which are perfect for PVP of course- There's no cross platform multiplayer as you know, so unfortunately you'd have to be on PS4 or PS5 to participate.- Not counting the backup system that I'll explain later on; the best way to participate in invasions is to create a new character and quickly defeat the Abyss Watchers and then Cursed Rotted Greatwood to obtain the gear. Kill the first giant crystal lizard in Cemetary of Ash to upgrade your weapon to +1 and stay close to the level that we are (so starting at SL19). Then progress along with us. This will keep you in level and weapon upgrade range in order to make invasions possible. Don't forget cracked red eye orbs from Leonhard or the reusable red eye orb from the Darkwraiths in high wall of Lothric that Leonhard gives you the key to.- However, in case we have trouble with making invasions work, we have a backup system in place. Namely, the red soapstone and the password system. Meaning that viewers can place a red sign at bonfires. When summoned we will give them a little time to move ahead of us and hide themselves somewhere in the area where we will be passing through. The reason we won't do this from the start is because this will ignore soul level and weapon upgrade level, making this system a bit too easy to abuse. Please try to keep things fair and fun. (Red soapstone is acquired from an enemy in the cathedral of the deep before Rosaria).

Elden Ring (+DLC), But I Use Different Magic Each Cycle! JK Leeds 2025-05-16 | The Elden Ring multi-cycle magic challenge is here at last! For this one, I decided to model it after my Dark Souls magic challenges. So for new game, we’ll use sorcery, specifically the stuff that looks like soul spear et cetera from the older games. For New game plus, we’ll use any fire spells, anything that would have been called pyromancy previously. Lastly, for new game plus plus, we’ll use anything that would have counted as a miracle, so lightning and holy spells.
