Ladies and gentlemen, we have lift-off.

The flight itself is exactly like in classic games. Press the A button two times to fly or swim. Keep pressing the button to keep flying/swimming. There is a limited amount of stamina for it, so make good use of it. You can destroy enemies with Tails' tails, and after jumping on them you can fly again. You can also combine your flight ability with the Thunder Shield. It doesn't work with other shields or homing attack. Using homing attack will disable flying ability.

It's been a fricking while. Basic Classic Tails is done with the exception of HUB, result, and transformation animations. 75% is completed.
Now here is the deal. As last time I said, I don't have promises about the flying technique. It's still in question. I can promise you one thing tho. The mod will be released before Sonic Superstars comes out. But if something will go wrong, obviously I'll delay it. So, in the end, it'll probably be released at that time. Or I'll be a madman like last time and release this mod when the game comes out, lol.
Also giant thanks to DaviMoartes for the pixel art of my character. I'll be using it as the watermark from now on.

Now about costumes...
Unfortunately, there won't be any costumes/skins/models. The reason is because of the glowing effect that was programmed when you boost. It was programmed so the materials would switch between each other every time Silver boosts. And most of the custom materials are getting screwed because of that.

I forgot to include my own character in this mod that replaces Tails, but meh, it's not that important anyway. I did it mostly as a test.

That's all you need to know to understand how bad it already is for the current generations of games. Not that I play often other games anyway, but still.
The resolution of this game is 1280x720 and all settings are on low.
Missing objects is not the only glitch, some of the light is flickering sometimes, causing a sezure, but I only managed to see it in the desert level.
The FPS is set to 30, but the more objects I have on screen the lower FPS will be. So, I think this game wasn't optimized for the potato PC like mine.
Anyway, the point of all this is that I'm not enjoying playing this game, thus I do not want to make mods for this game either. I don't even want to finish it. So in the end, I'm not gonna touch this game until Sonic Team fixes it. At least they said recently, that they will work on some bug fixes. Until then, I'll be making more stuff for Sonic Generations for now.
Oh and btw. The current game in this video is not modded at all. This is how it is for me.

This is the last preview before release! Super Silver and Infinite Rival will be shown during release.
Now I did something that no one has done before (at least to my knowledge). Some animations and the movement are gonna be wonky because it is what it is.
The release will probably be September-October. Maybe earlier.
So it's been a while. Now let's talk about what's been added/updated.
-Added glowing effect while boosing
-Added infinite hover (you still slowly going down tho)
-Jump is way higher than before
-Blaze Support works absolutely everywhere now and now shows the Y button
-Added full support for the Sonic Unleashed Drift mod and it's now mandatory
-Added board animations

I'll try to do the next video way faster. Since all is left is bobsleigh animations for normal Silver. After that all that's left are Super Silver, Infinite Rival, and costumes.

The physics are changed as followed:
-Disabled startup boost gauge usage.
-Enabled hovering.
-Spin ball jump is disabled.
-Boost on water and in the air uses the same amount of energy as on the ground.
-Physics are not changed in Infinite Rival and Egg Dragoon fights.
-Physics work if custom stages don't have their own custom physics

Yes, I know that there is a Shadow model too. Yes, I know that I could import it into the game. And yes, I was lazy to do it. Plus I don't like the design of Shadow's pirate costume. So I focused on Sonic for the most part.

Initially released in 2016 as a part of a Real Knuckles Mod, this mod was improved to be released as a standalone mod.
You can think of this as some sort of randomizer for this boss exclusively. Let me explain. His actions depend on your actions. This means that he will act differently each time you take a different route. The 3D section is the one that makes the most difference. Even hitting him at certain points will make him change his pattern.
Also, it's recommended to play the Hard Mode, since the Main Stage can be a little bit slower compared to the Hard Mode.
So, can you find the fastest route to beat it? Can you defeat it by taking no damage? Take on this challenge and prove it to the world!

-Infinite loading (It happens often at any point of the game so be prepared)
-Random game crashing (Not as often, but usually happens after beating a stage)
-Eyes UV-Animation (Makes eyes go in a different direction than it's supposed to be)
-Sonic Rival soft lock (He can fall off the stage at a certain point. Very rare)
-Skating sound is only 90% correct (The sound effect is very hard coded and adjusting timing is extremely difficult)
-Dark Rider turning left and right animations doesn't work (Because god fucking knows why)

It is what it is.
It took me shit tons of time to put that son of a bitch into the game. And I'm talking about that fucking motorbike. Freedoman added a special sign in Seaside Hill stage, changing the bobsleigh's sign to a motorbike one. He also fixed the exhaust flame effect on it, which made it look even better, plus sound as well. Also added "All Hail Shadow" song over "His World".

Also sorry for being lazy on trick animations for the board. I don't have much control over that since I don't see the board when I animate them.
Also also, some eye animations are gonna be broken and I have no idea how to fix them.
I want to give huge thanks to Freedoman for contributing a lot of things to this mod and making it look better than ever. All visuals like hud, effects, step sounds, and custom music were done by him. Without him, this mod would not look professional at all.
The next one is going to be the last preview and after that is the release of the mod. The next preview will be about Shadow's motorcycle. Super Shadow and Sonic Rival will be shown at the release. And with the little confidence that I have, I can say that it will be released during Christmas. Maybe.
There is also gonna be changes to effect for it. Right now it's a test.

Anyway, updated animations for damage, Sky Sanctuary, Chemical Plant, and water. The only animations that left to do are for Sonic Rival, City Escape, Seaside Hill, and Super Shadow. Overall it should not take long.
The release of this mod is planned either being in December 2020 or January 2021. I'll try my best to release it during Christmas, but no promises.

There is a lot to talk about here. First I want to say huge thanks to MadameBellaParker for making a boost gauge and Freedoman for making Shadow's skating sound to working at the 99% sync, also rest of the HUD, sounds, custom music, and visuals. Sometimes skating sound is going to be off sync or going everywhere, but this is the best that Freedoman could do.
The next thing is that Shadow is 50% complete. Super Form is 100% guaranteed as well. The Japanese version is also gonna be a thing in this mod. I'll show it in the next preview. Some of the animations were also redone (movement) and fixed.
The final thing is that this mod is not as stable as the other Real mods are. This means the game is going to crash a lot and getting infinite loading screens. Other stage mods will make 99% of the game to crash if you're gonna quit the stage or just finish in general.

So, I and GBA64 tried to fix Scourge's model and we did it, but in the end, the rig was fucked. So I decided for it to remain broken until I'll find another solution to it. For now, you can enjoy this version of the mod. And of course, he can interact with Chao.
For now, this is a test. There is no Super Scourge right now, but I'm working on him currently and I'll try to find the way to change all voices in this game. For now, enjoy my first ever SA2 mod. Or at least a prototype of it.

Unleashed Drift is kinda a new thing for me to do, so maybe I'll do some fixes to it, or maybe I'll just leave it as it is.

Now, the rig on this particular mod is not looking that good. And I'm talking about Modern Sonic's t-shirt. It will be broken in some places, but overall it's fine.
