TJs Story viaheartproject 2014-10-31 | In 2001, TJ was 15 years old and healthy. During PE class, he had sudden cardiac arrest. After spending over 12 minutes without receiving CPR or defibrillation, TJ suffered severe brain damage and lives in a persistent vegetative state to this day.
