This is my first Hello Neighbor Any% speedrun. The green key room, the shadow skip (during the second basement segment), and the neighbor boss (from the final act) are the most improvable parts of the run so, at least a few more minutes can be saved with the strategies I’m using at the moment. I intend to get a quicker run soon.

As of the time of upload, this speedrun sets me second worldwide on the Glitchless% leaderboard. I don’t necessarily have hopes to accomplish a new world record as I’m nearly eight minutes behind, but do plan to continue grinding for additional improvements. I’m currently aiming to fix my major mistakes alongside gaining other possible timesave with my current strategies. I hope to reach somewhere around the 43 minute mark next time.

It took me a while, but I'm now the third person to beat Baby Steps in under 50 minutes without any glitches. I'll aim for more skips in hopes for sub 46. My potential time save is getting further limited although I'll see what's possible without the galloping mechanic.

You can’t make up the fact that I barely missed sub 50. Since I managed a low 50:xx run, that gets me 3rd worldwide at the moment. I don’t plan on submitting another run to speedrun.com until I get somewhere around the 49:xx mark or lower. Nearly 2 additional minutes is salvageable considering my major fall on the third segment of the Poison Desert skip alongside other minor mistakes. Can’t wait for more improvements soon!

I just learned the camp skips leading up to Poison Slopes and through Poison Desert. I had an unbelievable pace without galloping until I choked big time during asdf’s @asdfgame3419 Poison Desert camp skip. A 49:xx or even a 48:xx is realistic for me to reach without any galloping required.

I never anticipated myself to enjoy such a weird, yet intriguing nature based game up to the point of actively speedrunning it. As of time of upload, this record sets me 4th worldwide on the Glitchless% leaderboard (in terms of submitted speedruns as far as I’m concerned). I intend to improve my run by means of learning “new” skips alongside cleaning up mistakes as there are a handful of noticeable ones throughout the run. I don’t necessarily plan on using the “galloping” mechanic that the other top runners use, but will continue pushing my limits. Hopefully, I can eventually reach the leaderboard’s podium. I’ll aim for a lower 5x:xx IGT next time I make a successful speedrun.
I’d also like to thank the following for inspiring this speedrun. Their videos (linked in speedrun.com) are solid guide references to utilize and are really entertaining to watch.

I freaked out the second I got this. All three laps ended up better than anticipated. My next goal is to either get my first 1:06 for a 1/3 glitch or to achieve my first 2/3 run. It'll be a while before I consider returning to this category.

It's cool how I got a sub 1:09 following my first glitch record. I didn't mind much of the driving quality. I simply wanted another run that outpaced my last one. Lap 2 was tremendously better although I had a tragic lap 3. But hey, it's a 1:08 at the end of the day.

I didn't really care about the overall quality of this run. As long as I had a successful tree clip with a sub 1:10 in the end of my first glitch record, I was glad.

It's been an estimated five years since I last played Peach Beach seriously so, I decided to give this another go. I might give the glitch category a shot since I got some successful attempts on the tree clip while meme-ing around on failed attempts.
On another note, lap 1 was rather mediocre, but the other two laps more than made it up for me to reach my first 1:13.

This run was decent, but I'm not exactly done yet. I intend to get a .8 the next time I bounce back to this category.
Also, for whatever reason, I forgot to upload a video on this last year. My bad on that.

This is another glitch record in which I somehow forgotten to record. I decided to retry this category because it had been nearly 3 years since I grinded at the time. Surprisingly, I managed to get an 11.46 second improvement fairly quickly. I'll eventually get back for some 3/3 glitch attempts.

Just decided to try out Coconut Mall no glitch and got my first 1:59. Judging by my splits, I undoubtedly have some potential in this category. Hope to get some improvements fairly soon. See you for now.

This is an old glitch record that I somehow forgotten about for so long. This also happens to be my first and only 2/3 pipe bounce run so far.
If I'm being honest, I totally underestimated how time-saving soft drifting is as I haven't bothered to attempt this mechanic in any time trial category. When I began to start grinding Wario's Gold Mine again, I tried applying soft drifting on the second turn of this track, and obviously on the second drift for the dip skip. This is what made me realize the power of soft drifting as I've been consistently conserving more time in Wario's Gold Mine so far.
Anyway, see you next time.

Also, I would rather try out the 1-0-2 shroom strat sometime in the future as that's currently the most optimal way to time trial this category and I wouldn't change wheelie patterns. However, I'm attempting to set new records with the 1-1-1 shroom strat at the moment by choice.
I also wonder how far times can be pushed with fast ramps after what I did there.

I'm glad to return to the worldwide top positions and that my run is more visually impressive. Whether I practice this category on/off, I'll go for that glorious 1:20 using the 1-1-1 shroom method. I hope to undergo some improvements soon.
On the other hand, my first lap was clean as I managed to complete it in 27.0 seconds, which is pretty rare for me to have a pace like that without the King Alex ramp trick.

I achieved my first world record on Mario Kart Wii! I'm confident that the community wasn't anticipating this today. I really pushed the time boundaries on this category. Whatever the limit is on this track, it's certainly a high 1:20. I'll attempt to reach it, though, it's only easier said than done. I'll see you whenever I return.
