Taken on my past trip to Walt Disney World, April 2010.The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Commerical RedubFigmentsFan2010-04-07 | A crazy little idea I had with a group of friends of mine. We redubbed the Disneyland Paris commercial for the opening of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror with completely new audio. It is more music heavy than the original, and the voices were interpreted differently. However, we think it turned out extremely well.

Being my usual self, I tried thinking new ways to combine Beatles and Meerkat Manor together, and tried looking into my BeatLeg collection. I came across the Yellow Dog album "Acetates" and the track "Blue Jay Way (Take 1 Unknown RS)." I tried it with various Line and Blue effects, and this is it.
Oh, and by the way, this is one of the rarest bootlegs I've got.A Tribute To FlowerFigmentsFan2007-10-19 | The big day has arrived! After spending my afternoon toiling at this, I have gotten the most complex tribute to the Queen of the Kalahari to date finished. It uses five musical numbers, and various film clips, all to remember this great leader.
RIP Flower Whiskers 2000-2007
Yes, I know some clips repeat. Somethings didn't go as I had planned.
And, these videos are copyright Animal Planet. The songs are from mainly Apple Corps., but also from 20th Century Fox and Sony Pictures.
And feel free to leave POSITIVE comments. Not ones putting the Flower lovers down or praising the snakes. They will be removed immediatly and you will be blocked.UEAW Think for Yourself Music VideoFigmentsFan2007-10-14 | I know this isn't a Disney video, but oh well!
This is the music video I made to my third favorite musical piece, "Think for Yourself" by the Beatles, synched to the wonderful total conversion mod for "Star Wars Empire at War" "Ultimate Empire at War."Disney Fireworks (Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End)FigmentsFan2007-09-29 | Do you like fireworks? Well, here are three fireworks shows (Imagine, one of the Christmas ones, and Remember the Magic) synched to the famous ending of "Abbey Road" Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End, sans the hidden track "Her Majesty."
Yes, I know the audio except for "The End" sounds crappy. In an effort not to waste too many CDs, I downloaded some tracks off a delta.ro site and found a spare formatted copy of "The End" in the hard drive.Star Tours (I Wanna Hold Your Hand/Rock n Roll Run)FigmentsFan2007-09-13 | The Disneyland motion simulator Star Tours mixed with two Cirque du Soliel Beatles pieces, "I Wanna Hold You Hand" and the Rock n' Roll Run.
Rock n' Roll run is a combination between "Drive My Car", "Taxman", "What You're Doing", and "The Word."Journey Into Imagination with Figment (Old Brown Shoe)FigmentsFan2007-09-13 | The third incarnation of this 24 year old classic, this time starring Figment, set to George Harrison's B-side to "The Ballad of John & Yoko" "Old Brown Shoe."
@Journey to the Center of the Earth (Getting Better)FigmentsFan2007-09-07 | The ground-breaking Tokyo DisneySea attraction Journey to the Center of the Earth synched to Lennon/McCartney piece "Getting Better."
The two reasons I put these two together was the irony of the song and it's sinister themes that allude to JTTCOTE.Spaceship Earth (Across the Universe)FigmentsFan2007-09-01 | RU42's footage of Spaceship Earth synched to the John Lennon Beatle era piece "Across the Universe."Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (Yellow Submarine)FigmentsFan2007-08-31 | Inspired by an idea given to me by 1983horizons1, I created this music video using The Beatles "Yellow Submarine" off Revolver synched to the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage.
I thank Levelmaker99 for the video.
It seems kind of ironic that this song is to this video, because the subs are yellow, white, and blue.Submarine Voyage (Because)FigmentsFan2007-08-28 | The original Disneyland Submarine Voyage before Nemo moved in with a piece that sounds fitting to it, The Beatles "Because" off Abbey Road. This is to follow up on 1983horizons1's set of music Disney ride videos.
I thank Levelmaker99 for the video.Adventure Thru Inner Space Tributes in Star ToursFigmentsFan2007-05-06 | I locate most (but not all) Adventure Thru Inner Space tributes in Star Tours.Test Track TributeFigmentsFan2007-05-06 | Tribute to one of the "Three Big Ones" attractions at EPCOT Center, Test Track.Rockin California Screamin TributeFigmentsFan2007-04-30 | A tribute to the now reverted Rockin' California Screamin'. I will hope to get around to the sister to it, Rockin's Space Mountain.Expedition Everest TributeFigmentsFan2007-04-16 | My fourth Disney tribute, which is second broadcasted on YouTube. My other two making up the gap are too long and are too big file sizes. I tried using two videos, which didn't work out too well without a full audio transcript. Although my credits don't mention it, the music is "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" by The Beatles from "Abbey Road."The History of the Rocket RodsFigmentsFan2007-03-31 | My first attempt at a Disney tribute video. This one is centered around the Rocket Rods. Please note to discard the last notice at the end of the video. That was for people who have managed to somehow download the video. YouTube doesn't let you do that.Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (RU42 Video)FigmentsFan2007-03-18 | The Disneyland Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This roller coaster attraction was built in 1970, and it replaced Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland. The entire purpose of the ride is to replicate a run-away mine train running through a replicated Sierra Nevada Mountain range known as Big Thunder Mountain. Slightly altered clones were sent to every main artery Magic Kingdom-ish park, save for Tokyo (or is it Hong Kong?). In 2004, one man died on the ride due to a derailment shortly before entering a safety tunnel. The report footage can be seen under the dldhistory.com account.MatterhornFigmentsFan2007-03-18 | The Matterhorn roller coaster at Disneyland. When the mountain opened before the 1967 Tomorrowland update (I think 1958), it became the world's first steel roller coaster. This was originally placed in the Tomorrowland section of the park, but was moved on park maps to Fantasyland. Walt decided to make that so because the normal wood coaster design wouldn't fit in such a small structure. Walt never really wante a roller coaster in his park, but once this opened, Disneyland was graced with many celebrities. The original structure inside was said to be "...like being inside a steel building." It wasn't very convincing. However, updates up until previously have made the mountain look realistic. It is by far one of the most popular rides in the Disneyland park.
I'm not exactly sure which side it is. I think it might be the Tomorrowland side. Could somebody clarify this? Sorry for the audio problems. Some tapping and lots of screams from the other riders.Gadgets Go-CoasterFigmentsFan2007-03-18 | The kid roller coaster Gadget's Go-Coaster, inspired by the Disney film Rescue Rangers, at Disneyland. I've never conducted a full study on it, so I don't know too much about it.Rocket RodsFigmentsFan2007-03-17 | The defunct Rocket Rods attraction at Disneyland. It was meant to be a thrill ride to take the place of the "outdated" PeopleMover, which was an excuse to make a large chunck of Tomorrowland into a thrill ride area. It also was to get rid of the last remnants of the 1967 renovation, aside from the Rocket Jets skeleton. The idea was a good one, just ilconcieved. There was no corporate sponser, therefor slashing the budget, limiting the effectivness and reliability of it. The axles were made of cheap plywood, the track had a deal of rust to it, and there was no banked corners, putting added stress on the track. Disney did fake a renovation set for the Rods to open in Spring 2001. That was quickly dismissed, and the PeopleMover track is now dormant.
Seems like a waste of space. Still, while moving past the monorail trains at high speeds, it seemed pretty nice.Autopia Ride ThruFigmentsFan2007-02-21 | The Autopia, one of the premire attractions at Tomorrowland, opened shortly after Submarine Voyage in I believe 1959. It was one of the three, with two being extinct. The first one was the Tomorrowland Autopia. The next was the Midget Autopia, which would become the Fantasyland Autopia and merge with the Tomorrowland one. The last was the Junior Autopia, which was shipped off to Walt Disney's home town of Marceliene in Missouri. After a couple of years, that was finally removed and one car salvaged for display on the main Autopia. This current Autopia, along with the dormant PeopleMover tracks and monorail support, aside from the new version, is what is keeping the remnants of the Submarine Voyage alive. Different versions exist In Florida all the way to Hong Kong, under different names.
This is a VisionsFantastic production. I never got a video of the Autopia.PeopleMover RideFigmentsFan2007-02-14 | This is the second part of the PeopleMover tribute Martin Smith created, this time the ride.Rockin (RockIt) Space MountainFigmentsFan2007-02-14 | This is the newest version of the Space Mountain roller coaster, shown previously on my channel, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers overlay.Adventure Thru Inner Space Back on Visual Eye SequenceFigmentsFan2007-02-14 | Another silent film strip of Adventure Thru Inner Space presented by Monsanto, this time of the scientist eye from the "Back On Visual" sequence.Adventure Thru Inner Space Lobby (From G.F. and PeopleMover)FigmentsFan2007-02-14 | A silent film strip of one of my favorite attractions of all time, Adventure Thru Inner Space presented by Monsanto. This is one of three clips from Extinct Attractions Club made possible on computer views by atommobiles.com.PeopleMover HistoryFigmentsFan2007-02-14 | Martin Smith created a PeopleMover tribute in his spare time and I can't upload it in one single file. It's longer than 10 minutes. So, here's the history portion of the PeopleMover Tribute.Space Mountain (RU42 Video)FigmentsFan2007-02-14 | Space Mountain, the first in a line of different mountain chains to be set up at Disney parks, was created in 1975 for the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Restort. Not too far later, in 1977, Space Mountain was put into Disneyland, causing the closure of the PeopleMover Thru the World of Tron for a year. Other versions not stemming from the original idea exist in Disneyland Paris.
Not too long ago, the Disneyland version went down for rehab, which is shown here. Notice in the video RU42 had to turn on the camera's light to be able to see. The update sealed out all light from entering the main portion of the ride. The track was also updated. It also brought about a new frontal paint scheme of bronze, not shown here.
Then came...the repair. All the lights were turned on inside the mountain while under repair, giving the first real look at what you were riding. It ruined the effects, but it was pretty neat to see the tracks!
Note this, like the Star Tours video, is not mine. I attempted a video of Space Mounatin at the Magic Kingdom, which didn't work out too well. The video was obtained through VisionsFantastic.Star Tours (Disneyland, Anaheim, CA)FigmentsFan2007-02-13 | Ah, yes, Star Tours. This motion simulator attraction took the place of Adventure Thru Inner Space, the Disneyland attraction that pretended to shrink you beyond the smallness of an atom. This also caused the demise of the ATIS Northern Mary Blair mural. Because this attraction became so popular, copies were sent to Disneyland Paris, Disney MGM Studios, and Tokyo Disneyland, in that order.
Note that this video is not mine. I had a copy of the Disney MGM Studios version, but it was way too blurry to put up on YouTube. So, enjoy the VisionFantastic and Disneyland Source version!Journey Into YOUR ImaginationFigmentsFan2007-02-09 | Ugh! This version of JII was the worst! Anyway, FujiFilm came to Disney with an offer to make the JII ride into a thrill ride. They knew Kodak's sponsership was almost done. Still, Kodak continued, and, to compete with FujiFilm, proposed the idea to retool JII. It opened for the Millenuim Celebration, and caused a letdown in many fans. It downplayed Figment of the Imagination and removed Dremafinder. Everyone started complaining about it and started calling it Journey Into YOUR Lack of Imagination. So, in 2001, this version was removed and replaced with the current day one.
