How to make music on a computer arthur woo 2011-02-06 | Some people ask me how to get started on writing music on a computer. My recommendations:1. A COMPUTER2. Sequencer (Cubase, Logic, etc)3. Software (or hardware) synthesizers4. Audio Interface (in very simple terms, you can think of it as a soundcard that allows the computer to playback all the music you write/record)5. Monitors (big speakers)REMEMBER: it doesn't matter (for the most part) what you use as long as you learn your tools well and know how to use them. Some people have just laptops and monitors/headphones and make amazing music.
