No matter how good a fighting game is, if it doesn’t play well online, it just won’t survive.
2XKO has solved that problem with exceptional netcode, allowing players in different regions to connect and play with virtually no lag.
Leffen has been able to compete against North Americans from Sweden, and Slash has done the same from Saudi Arabia. 2XKO has pushed the online experience to a whole new level
A lot of the credit goes to the Cannon brothers, the creators of GGPO, the technology behind the type of rollback netcode that has become the standard for online fighting games. With their expertise and access to Riot Connect, the company’s own hosting system, 2XKO’s server-based rollback netcode has been a massive success.
So, with a new bar set for what the online fighting game experience can be, players may find it hard to go back to games like Street Fighter 6 or Tekken, especially if they want to play with any homies anywhere in the world, when 2XKO will let you do that with ease.

Rockstar Games is in trouble with the UK government after firing over 30 employees
In late October 2025, Rockstar Games, developer of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI, fired 30-40 employees across its UK and Canadian offices, sparking accusations of union busting. The Independent Workers Union of Great Britain (IWGB) claims the dismissals targeted workers in a private Discord group, including IWGB members who were aiming to unionize.
Rockstar and its parent company, Take-Two, insist the firings were for sharing “confidential information” in a public forum, and that they were unrelated to union activity. However, the fired staff denied any leaks, asserting their discussions were private and focused on working conditions. IWGB spokesperson Alex Marshall has called this the most blatant and ruthless act of union busting in games industry history”.
In response, protests erupted outside Take-Two and Rockstar’s UK offices on November 6th, with protestors holding signs like Grand Theft Employment and “ahh [!@#$] here we go again”. Over 220 Rockstar North employees signed a letter demanding reinstatement of the fired parties, and the IWGB has officially filed legal action against Rockstar.
With the scandal still unfolding and gaining global attention with GTA VI being delayed, the whole debacle has raised questions around crunch culture in the gaming industry and workers rights around the world.
